So far very easy and smooth. Just completed the initial process. Funds are to be deposited in 1-3 days.

After receiving a pre-approval letter from Best Egg I filled out on an online application, received a not great rate of 11% for a debt consolidation loan. Better, however, than the 22% I'm paying on two credit cards. Reading the fine print it was unclear if there was a prepayment penalty. It was also unclear if I would lose the rate if, with automatic payment, there was a gap in time between when my paycheck is deposited, and when the automatic draft is taken out of my account, which will happen when you're paid every 14 days, and BestEgg is withdrawing on a fixed date each month.
Also, they wanted a paystub and cancelled check. Since I shred everything I didn't have a paystub to send for the next ten days. During that time I was HOUNDED with sales calls, multiple times a day, with messages that sounded a lot more like debt collection calls. Seriously? I haven't completed the application yet and they're already phone trolling/stalking me with auto generated calls 30 seconds after each time I use my phone.
There is a sordid boiler room feel to this company.
Buyer beware.

I received a letter in the mail; went online, the process was very easy and did not take a long time for processing. I look forward to getting my loan down and the opportunity of qualifying for a higher amount.

I would love to be able to trust this company comma but I am very against deceptive advertising. To say you're pre-approved should mean what it says. Then if you want to cancel the mail they send you, you're immediately asked for your social security number to verify. That should only be asked when getting a loan or checking on an existing loan.

Super fast and easy process. Shopped rates and they were the lowest for non-secured loan.

I was quite surprised with rapid response I received from my application. It was also a very easy process.and I was very happy with the results.

While I appreciate their timely response and their polite manner throughout the conversation, all they said was essentially "We're sorry you're sad." and that they would not use my personal information.  They will continue to market in the same semi-fraudulent way by making outlandish claims regarding pre-approval, and low interest loans, and paying off high interest credit cards; yet a large number of these cases the person is never offered a loan and the vast majority of the time an offer is actually made, it's for well over most credit card interest rates.
 
Like most of the other complaints listed on the Revdex.com website, it isn't just that we got an offer in the mail.  I got offers on a weekly to bi-weekly basis for months and months.  Like most of the other people, we finally just gave in and capitulated.  I figured they'd just offer me a high interest 20% loan and I'd refuse, but at least I wouldn't get the mailings anymore.  But to then not even get a 36% loan offer?  A guy making over 100k/year can't get a $1500 36% interest rate loan despite being "pre-approved"?  When I inquired, I was essentially told that everyone is "pre-approved".  That means "pre-approved" doesn't actually mean anything.  And why couldn't a guy with my income get even a garbage high interest loan offer?  There was a  $180 phone bill listed as 'late' on my credit report.  If they determine I am pre-approved based on something they get from the credit reporting agencies, then why even bother sending me a letter twice a month telling me I'm pre-approved for a loan?

I was very pleased with how easy the site was and the ease of the application process was. I am very happy to be a Best Egg customer!

After researching this account and speaking to the applicant, it has been determined that we are unable to verify the applicant's identity.  I offered several methods of verification and have not received a response to my repeated attempts to verify identity.

I have received no less than 3 direct mail letters with different preapproval amounts varying from 35000 to 40000 from Best Egg. It says you can check (with code) to see exactly how much you can get "without any impact on your credit,". I decided, what the heck why not check and see if I can save some money. Today I received that I "was declined on my loan application" "what loan application" and that this is due to information is from "Experian" who authorized a new check of my credit file after your preapproval letter telling me that I am already able to get 35000 or 40000. It says no impact on my credit score but why I am receiving this formal letter is incredibly suspicious and I have been approved by two banks for loans on cars in the last year. Be careful with these folks I think their main goal is to build a negative file on you and force you into the "higher" interest rate market. This is my opinion based on the potential interest rates in the solicitation. We have been there, done that, not going back. Remove me from your mailing list. I am still getting preapproval letters as of 4-15-2016. You have my address and my email as you can send me mail and email. This is a scam to obtain your personal information. I have high credit debt that I was attempting to consolidate into smaller, fixed monthly payments. I responded to a pre-approval offer in the mail (about the 10th in as many months) and finally decided to try it out. Was immediately rejected, even though my overall household income is well in the six figures, and both husband and I have been steadily employed for 5 plus years. Our credit scores are in the mid-six hundreds, due to high debt to income ratio, and we were hoping to fix that. No late payments, and we own our home. Your letters border on false advertising. I am now going to have to closely watch my credit report to ensure nothing is comprised.
