HUGE SCAM!!!! DO NOT USE!!!
I was desperate because I really needed to pay off classes to continue my education and lord behold, the pre-approval letter came in the mail right on queue. Usually I shred these sales offers every day and they caught me at just the right moment (and boy was it the right timing because I did not check the background like I usually do). I got the money I needed immediately, BUT at a heavy cost. 27% interest rate on a $14500 loan.
I'm still looking into how this interest rate is processed because my payments are $450/month. Which is fine, but I paid $2k the first month, and guess how much I owe on the loan after the recent payment I made, $14502!!!!! How is it I pay $2k, and I owe even more money on a loan I've only had for 1.5 months. I paid $1500 more than what was due, and owe them even more money. DO NOT USE!!! IT IS A SCAM!!! Fortunately I always get more money than I need, and only needed $5k. So the rest is going back immediately as I pay off the last little bit.
Oh and by the way, the interest rate on this loan is higher than ANY other interest rate I have on any credit card, student loan, etc. So how I got such a high rate, when I consistently watch my credit, I'm not sure.......... SOMEONE SHUT THEM DOWN!! PREDATORY BUSINESS TACTICS ON LOANS YOU MAY NEVER PAY OFF!!

When Credit Karma suggested that I explore a consolidation loan in order to pay off my debts more quickly, I took them up on the offer. That was how I discovered Best Egg. Their application process was simple and easy and their response was much faster than I expected. I received my loan with a low APR rate. I paid off my credit debts and now have a reasonable repayment plan that is more affordable for me. I'd highly recommend to anyone who is looking to get out of debt with an affordable consolidation loan.

 The Best Egg website as well as the "*Important Offer Details" section of our mailings state "By responding to this offer, you certify that all information provided by you at the time of acceptance is true, correct, and complete, that you are at least 18 years old and a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident."  As for your remaining concerns, our employees make every attempt to assist applicants through the loan process and to make it an efficient process.  Obtaining a Visa or Green Card are ways we attempt to verify citizenship.  In your case, this step was unnecessary and the appropriate feedback has been provided to the loan specialist involved.  I hope this response explains our process a bit better and provides the resolution you desire.

I'm satisfied with my experience so far. Was a quick and easy loan for me. Applied online and was accepted for a 3 year loan at 5.99%. Was easy to setup direct deposit/automatic payments through my checking account.

We start all of our roofs between 7am and 8 am every morning. When we started Mr [redacted]'s roof we had 2 hours left on a roof we did the day before. So we...

He called from out of town and said he was ready to pay over the phone because his neighbor he left in charged said everything looks good. When he came back in town he called and said we did not finish the back porch. When I received the message that evening it was after 6pm, but when a customer is not happy I like to respond immediately. I called him the evening, and said that the company did not know we were suppose to do the back porch. I told him we would take care of it the next. The next day we went out and finished the back porch. I called him to see if he was happy, and he said he did not like the clean up. I sent my guys back on 3 different occasions to clean up. I came out there my self 2 times to make sure it was clean, and it looked good to me. When I called him to see if he was happy with the clean up, I also asked is there anything more I could do to make him happy. He said he doesn't know why I was being nice to him because he was not going to give me a referral. I said I don't mind him not giving me a referral I would just like him to be happy with the job. Then he said don't ever call him again, and if I call him he will not answer the phone. That was the last time we spoke.

I was presently surprised with Best Egg's offers. I had tried getting an unsecured loan with another company and it took weeks and weeks to even hear from them. Then after sending info they requested more than 2 times, they continued stating they needed more info--the same I had been sending previously. The phone number provided by that company was not user friendly. With Best Egg, I filled out the application and within three-four days the loan requested was in my checking account. They only asked for specific info one time and when I sent it, they were satisfied with it. I would highly recommend Best Egg if you are trying to secure a loan.

Upfront about fees and finance charges. Incredibly easy process. Awesome!

The process for getting a loan was very simple, received a decent interest rate - thought I would get a better interest rate truthfully, but was still worth taking the loan. Money was put directly into my account in only a couple days. It's nice to have only one payment a month!

Dealing with Best Egg has been a miserable experience. My husband died and I have been trying for over a month to get someone to speak with me. I got through once and was told to fax his death certificate, which I did. I heard nothing from them and when trying to reach someone, told them that I kept getting cut off and was told, "we're a big company." Now that they have tried to take money out of his bank account they took me to legal. I tried to talk to someone, they are out of the office and do not want voice messages. Really, a "big" company that has only one person in legal to speak with. I would never use this company.
