This company is not what you think it is I received a beautiful diamond engagement ring from my fiance and went to have a custom wedding band made shortly after the engagement I went to a local, reputable jewelry company and they told me I needed to send it back immediately because it was at risk for falling apart The prongs were not holding the diamonds in securely and there were several flaws on the band that were making the ring catch on all my sweatersI sent the ring back with all of the documentation from the reputable company asking Pompeiito remake the ring They did so and resent the ring back only to have it in the same condition as it was the first time!
We took the ring to get a 2nd opinion from different reputable jewelry company and they said the same thing! In their opinion there was not a lot of "quality control" when making this ring The diamond is off center and the halo is uneven and the side stones are at risk of falling outMy fiance paid around $for this ring and it appraises (with Pompeii's appraisers of course) at over $but the company I took it to said it wasn't worth much more then $This company should be put out of businessHow dare they claim to sell quality jewelry Not only are they selling crappy quality rings but they are ruining proposals around the world

Chris, Don, and team were especially helpful with all of my questions, concerns, and random inquiriesHaving read numerous reviews on ***, ***, and other message boards; I treaded cautiously with working with PompeiiWhat I found was you really do get what they listMeaning, beautiful designs with CE diamonds in the I1-IclarityThese stones are not the most appealing (essentially Kay/Jared quality), so I opted to upgrade to S1-Swhich literally took my breath away when I opened the boxThank you all againShe said "Yes" yesterday and has just been wonder-struck ever since!

I immediately called the company and they offered to replace the stone so I sent it back immediatelyUpon receiving the replacement we realized that the diamond they replaced it with was of terrible quality! After less than days a carat stone fell out of a ring After finally receiving a response via email all I was told was "you cannot get a refund it's been over days" I did not want a refund, I want a new stone but apparently standing behind your company is a thing of the past at least with Pompeii This company is a sham, and after seeing some of the email addresses...I have doubts as to many things about Pompeii Stay away...stay far far away!!
Overall my experience was good! I did have to send my ring back to have stone replaced! But very satisfied with ring over allIt did take longer then they estimated to get it repaired

I have a flawed diamond (not clear if it is actually a diamond, suspect it is not)When the company was notified, all they offered was to replace it at cost, and shipping of courseI have to pay for a new diamond I was told that a hammer strike could break a diamondWell, if such an impact had accused, and I assure you it did not, a hammer-like impact should also have damaged the soft metal of the band and or even have been noticed at the time it was struckAre you telling me that my hand was hit with the force of a hammer and I didn't notice? It has a huge chunk of the center diamond missingEither the diamond was sold with an extreme flaw, or it is not actually a diamondI will be getting a second opinion
