I wouldn't recommend this website to my worst enemyHere's the storyI ordered an engagement ring for my fiance and I could've sworn I chose her correct size but apparently I didn'tIt was too big, so immediately after I purchased the ring I contacted Pompeiiand explained that I had just purchased this ring and I must have chosen the wrong size and that it needed to be a size smallerI figured this mistake happens a lot with online ordering, especially with men like me who knows nothing about any of this jewelry stuffWell, days come and go and I have heard nothing back from PompeiiAbout that time I realized that not only have they not responded to my 1st email about the ring size but they still hadn't even sent me a receipt at the time of purchase stating that I had bought anything from themAll I had was my *** receipt, so I emailed them again, waited a few days heard nothingAt this point, I thought they just took my money and ranI contacted *** and opened up a dispute and finally the next day I got my order # and tracking #I had also received an email saying that the ring size issue was being resolved and that my order would ship soonI was finally relieved and for the 1st time excited about itThe ring came in the mail today and the size was never fixed and most of the diamonds set in the ring are completely fogged and hazyBasically, every other stone set the band looks like a piece of rock saltI purchased the 5-year warranty for $but after my experience and the God-awful reviews that I read about Pompeiiand their "warranty" so sending it back would be the last thing I would doWe're gonna void the warranty and have a real, professional jeweler put quality stones in it and have it sizedThey came take their warranty and jam itIf you know what's good for you, you WILL NOT purchase anything from this websiteGO TO A REAL JEWELRY STORE! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I ordered a carat black diamond solitaire with two curved white diamond bands to go withI chatted online with Robert and he was quite helpfulWhen the rings came the bands were perfectThe black diamond solitaire however seemed smallIt was the size of any carat stones I have in my collectionI requested a return and was given one quicklyI also requested a larger carat black diamond solitaire in it's placeIt has yet to arrive since it has only been three days but will let you know if there are further issuesOtherwise I am satisfied with my dealings this far with Pompeii

My fiancé has spent A LOT of money on diamonds from Pomeii The most recent purchase was my wedding ring and band I fell completely in love with the ring It is simply BEAUTIFUL BUT I recently took the ring in to a local jeweler to get it resized, cleaned and soldered for our big day Well here is the findings First of all I will saythe diamond is real thank God for that BUT the ring had loose diamonds and that were missing The ones that were missing were from the band in which I hadn't even worn It came right out of the box to the jeweler So needless to say it was a VERY expensive fix for us I was going to send the ring back to Pompeiibut after reading all of the reviews and finding out the nightmares that people were having when they sent their rings back in to the company, I decided to do everything locally It really is a shame because they do have some beautiful jewelry Think twice before purchasing with Pompeii

There is no charge for the new ring, you would pay for postageThis takes about 1-weeks for a new one to make but we will certainly do our best to get it back in your hands asap

Poor quality, bad service, waste of money
I have never experienced such bad serviceThe rings are poorly made and they come in a cheapy boxMy boyfriend ordered me a rind before Christmas and realized the shipping speed was very slow, he paid for expedited shipping so we can actually receive it for Christmas (very pricey) but didn't come till a week afterThe ring came with a diamond missingWe called, the lady was very very rude and promised a new ring would be madeWe ship it back to wait weeks for the SAME RING to come back with the diamond missing and the prongs bentThis was not a cheap ringHe called again just for the lady to give him the same old "We will have a new one made blah blah blah" and decides to be very impatient and hang upWe decided to give it a couple days and call back to get a return label because at this point we don't want to pay for more shipping and the lady says that the policy has changed and they do not send out return labels (EVEN IF YOU GET TWO BROKEN RINGS) This is all a shamDo not purchase a ring from themPoorly made, sucky serviceWe are VERY happy with our *** ring

Our experience with Pompeii was quite disappointingI advise you stay away from this company! Ordered a one carat Solitaire engagement ring off of their websites and was very excited as it was a present for my wifeIt shipped in pretty short orderAftetr opening it I was very satisfied with the color and Clarity of the diamond, except I immediately noticed a LARGE chip in the side of the diamond and the stone was incredibly loose to the point it would completely spin around inside the setting! I immediately called the company and they offered to replace the stone so I sent it back immediatelyUpon receiving the replacement we realized that the diamond they replaced it with was of terrible quality! The diamond looked like it had been put on a grinder then never polishedZero shine, the outside was completely opaqueI decided to give them more chance and sent it back for a replacement (since the firat stone would have been perfect except the chip) but days later I received an email stating that I was obviously not happy with their product and they issued a refundWhile I am glad I got my money back it is not what I wanted or what I asked forNow I am without a ring and in the doghouse having no gift for my wife!

I purchased an engagement ring from this company four months agoI have had to send the ring back to them a total of six times now for the same reasons each time, it takes about days to be returned to meThe product has been returned back to me and is still not repaired and or damaged moreI am getting married February 2nd and have done everything in my power to work with this companyI've spent an endless amount of time on the phone, emailing or chatting with themI am so very upset and have been waiting for the product that I bought to finally be worn without constantly be terrified that some thing is wrong with itI have again tried to work with them and I dont seem to be treated like a valued customerI feel robbed and taken advantage ofI am hoping you can advise me on what steps to take or help me with this issue

I purchased a $necklace for my wife for ChristmasI never received itI filled a claim with Pompeiiand just received this response
"After their thorough investigation, unfortunately, *** has denied this claim stating that "The package was delivered as addressed", and will not be reimbursing us for the productAt is time, we can not provide a replacement of this item since *** has determined that this package was already delivered to the correct address I now this is not the outcome you were looking for and we sincerely apologize on behalf of *** However, we must adhere to the decision that *** has made regarding the claim"
I did not have a choice on who would deliver the packageI did not have an option on checkout to require a signatureAll I know if that I paid this company $and did not receive my order

My husband ordered my wedding ring December The ring arrived in time for our wedding December 22, However the ring was one size too big no big deal but by our wedding day my ring was missing diamond stones in the paved wedding band and one diamond was missing from the engagement ringAfter our wedding I immediately put back in the box for fear of loosing more diamondsThe next week paid over $ to ship back it had to have insurance due to the cost of the ringIt was received the first week of January and on the 8th of January my husband received confirmation that the ring had been resized and stones repaired and he needed to pay for the return shipping of $ He paid them immediately and by Thursday the 11th of January nothing regarding the status of our order as to weather or not it shippedSo I called and the woman explained that it went back to jeweler for a loose stone but would ship out on the 12th of JanuarySo needless to say by the 17th January my husband was concerned about my ring and what was going on so called back and yet again we were told the ring is still in with the jewler for another loose stone and it still has to be polished and shined before we send it back so hopefully the jeweler can have it done and shipped by Friday January 19thNeedless to say we will be waiting to see what happensWe are so displeased with our service and how the employees seem to be irritated by the customer calling to check on there purchaseWhen you spend well over $1,dollars on an item and then you have to come back out of pocket almost another $just in shipping the customer is the one who should be irritated not the company or its employeesEspically if they are the ones telling you via email your order is ready when it's obviously notHad better hopes for this companyIt almost feels like they want to milk some of the day warranty so if anything else should happen it may not be covered

I was deployed and planned on coming home and popping the question to the love of my lifeI found this website where the prices were quite reasonable for good to great quality ringsA month before coming home I ordered a ring online through them in hopes that it would be there before I got thereUpon opening the box, to my surprise, there was absolutely nothing in itI called the company and they told me that they would handle itThey took none of my information and hung up in my earI called back and that's when they asked for my order number and name and said that they would file a claim with the bank and once again hung up in my earDO NOT do business with themI have pretty much been robbed and there's nothing I can do about it

The item I received was completely different than what I had orderedThe product description claims that the diamonds in the ring were G/H in color (near colorless) and had an SI clarity (Slightly Imperfect)The ring I received was appraised at a local jeweler with an O/P color (very yellow) and an I2-clarity (very flawed)The setting itself had flaws and sharp edgesWhen I returned the item, I was assured I would be refunded in full, including the shipping costWhen the refund posted to my account, it was minus the $shipping cost I had paidWhen I addressed this with the company, they said, and I quote, "Return shipping is not we cover, we would only refund you for the items sent back." Not only was I initially lied to, but their support staff can hardly string together a coherent sentenceWhen initiating my complaint, there was no apology or offer to correct the issue, only the suggestion for me to spend my own money to return itI strongly advise against shopping with this company, as they not only falsely advertise their products, but do not stand behind them

The ring we ordered was returned back to *** in LibertyvilleThe *** tracking indicated that the ring was delivered back to *** but he has stopped respondingIt has been MONTHS SINCE I ORDERED THE RINGI spent $on the ring, which I still haven't received in refund, my husband STILL doesn't have a wedding ring (we got married in May and had to use a $ring from *** as a prop..sad, I know), and I have not heard a response from *** since July

I recently purchased a diamond necklace for my wife from PompeiiI was nervous because of the negative Revdex.com ratingI am here to tell you and I will stand by it, the negative rating couldn't be more wrongI have had an absolute perfect experience with PompeiiIts not like I just ordered, received the piece and we were doneAfter the piece showed up, there was a follow up email to make sure I was satisfiedThe chain wasn't quite what I expected so I let them know thatWithin a day I had another email from Chris *** letting me know a new chain was on the wayI received the new chain with in daysBetter chain but still too light for the large carrot pendantNo problem says Chris, The best I can find is on the waySure enough a few days later a beautiful chain with a nice strong clasp arrivedThey took care of me, never misrepresented and stood by there product(which is absolutely gorgeous) and I've bought a lot of diamonds in the last 50+ yearsMost importantly; my wife is thrilled! Thank you Chris and Pompeii3!!

Pompeii is a rip of! Jewelry is very poor quality!!! I would NOT recommend this website to anyone!!! DO NOT BUY FROM POMPEII!!!!!!!!
