This company is full of scammers!!! I am a first time customer at PoshmarkI ordered a pair of shoes for USD plus shipping costs based on beautiful photo and a brand new product for a stealWhen I received the product, the shoes were one whole size smaller than advertised and were falsely advertised on Poshmark based on the brand's specifications for sizingI found this out after I received the shoes and did some research on the brand's websiteI followed the protocol that Poshmark advised for returnsI did not "receive" the item, as Poshmark instructed NOT to do so in case your item did not arrive as describedPoshmark does not take back items that do not fit right, but they do take back items that are not advertised properlyThe shoes are NOT a size 9, but a size 8, and I thought, based on the seller's advertisement that I was purchasing size shoesI emailed Poshmark the day my item arrived, on November I emailed again yesterday, November 28, and have not received a response

I received a damaged itemUpon submitting photo evidence of the damaged item that I receivedThe seller claimed that I damaged the item myself and was scamming herShe claimed the photos that I took of the item I received were not of what she sent me, that I had somehow hidden away her item, purchased the exact same item, damaged it, and was now attempting to send it to her as a "return."
This isn't the type of transaction that I want to go throughIdeally, it would have been simple, clear, transparentI don't know what happened on their end, but there is hardly a way of ensuring that the transactions are transparent or of providing "legitimate" proof for either side when such disputes arise between buyers and sellers, which further makes dispute settlement challenging since technically either party could have misrepresented the facts and it would be impossible to discern, who is legitimately telling the truthIt is disheartening, hurtful, and offensive to be called a "scammer." This system is unethical and unenforceableTerrible customer serviceIt is grab bag/hit or miss whether you will end up in a situation like thisI highly recommend customers buy directly from retail businesses to avoid situations like this and where you can be certain of products that you buy and receive far better, much more considerate, predictable, reliable, and professional customer serviceNo better words than caveat emptor to describe using a marketplace platform like thisI say avoid the hassleBeing treated that way- called a "scammer" as a customer is hardly professional at all and not something you would have to deal with if buying or making transactions through a retail front

Customer service is AWFULExtremely slow, if not non-existent, responsesFor the 20% commission they earned simply by running an app, I would expect moreVery disappointed
