Protect America, Inc. has received the complaint submitted by Ms. [redacted]. We've since spoken with Ms. [redacted] and were able to reach an amicable resolution.

Protect America has received the rejected offer submitted by Mr. [redacted]. We had and we will continue to provide different options available to him and there are technicians available to assist with any equipment issues he states that he has.  We ask that he allows Protect America to assist with any further concerns.

Protect America, Inc. has received the complaint filed by Ms. [redacted]. In reviewing Mr. [redacted] account we’ve found that he claimed to have returned the equipment May of 2012. service fees whether equipment is on line or not on line with the monitoring facility, as the equipment provides value although it’s not monitored. At this time Mr. [redacted] is not eligible for the refund he’s requesting.

I am rejecting this response because: whereas I spoke to the representative and the options that he provided were not pleasing.  We were not able to reach an agreement. I am not pleased with the service and would not recommend the service to others nor will I continue to use the service.

I am rejecting this response because: They are not truthful at all. They didn't do their job, and NEVER made us aware of cancellation procedures. We never had a contract to read about writing a letter to cancel.  How would we know. We spoke on the phone and told them we were going with another company. They have that recorded. Not one person said if you are canceling you have to do it this way. You know when we found out it was after the fact when a whole year passed and they then told us we have to do it this way, or they would have kept taking it out of our account. This is a rip off !!!!! None of them did their job. So they wanted to see how much money they could get and get away with it, knowing we didn't know nothing about a letter.Or what the contract said, when we never seen one !!! We work hard for every dime, why should anyone allow this to happen. They are wrong, why don't they admit it and end this, because I will not !!!!!

I purchased a used car yesterday, a 2006 van, and I purchased the added warranty with ASC, since it was a used car. I took the car to our family mechanic to be checked over, and also because there was a squeak which the dealer assured me was a pulley and belt. The repair shop called me this morning to tell me that the rocker arms needed to be replaced. I called ASC Warranty to ask how to go about getting this repaired under the warranty, since rocker arms were specifically listed as one of the items covered. I was told this repair wouldn't be covered because I had bought the car while it was making a noise. I'm not a mechanic. I trusted the dealer who told me it was something minor, but I did purchase the warranty just in case something else was wrong with the car. This is, at the very least, false advertising, but I feel that ASC Warranty has figured out a way to get out of paying for claims, and the warranty is completely useless.

I am rejecting this response because of the unethical business practices, I was never told that I had 14 days to change my mind about the system. The sales representative informed me that I could return it at any time during the course of the contract. I have been paying for a system that does not work properly and I do not have any faith on the business to help me out any more after they lied to me about the contract terms.

I am rejecting this response because:
Icall them many more times, each time promises they would do their best to fix it. I was continue to have problem seeing the video on my cellphone. Mean times they continue to charge my monthly fee to my charge card & got paid for about a year. During that whole time I got nothing out of it but anguished & wasting my time kept calling them. Finally about a year of paying subscription(got nothing out of it & but wasting my time kept calling them for help) I cancelled my payment of their monthly subscription. If they were able to fix it I would have continue my subscribing then.

initially when she provided her verbal and electronic written consent in 09/13/2013. This was also reiterated to her in December 2016. The account was disconnected and turned over to a 3rd party collection company due to non payment. At this time, she would need to contact [redacted] at phone number: [redacted] for further inquiries.

I am rejecting this response because: I am on vacation and they indicate they have tried to contact me. They have called me 1 time and left a message.  Another example of poor customer support.
