ADT aka Protect Your Home aka Defenders installed a residential security system in my home on 8/26/5/7/1:34pm glass break alarm sounded and I was notified by ADTI requested the police to go to house as I was not homeI arrived home at 2:05pm with no indication of police presenceDog had tipped over a glass in house setting off the alarmI called the [redacted] police dispatch to check on whether they came to the houseThey informed me they did not receive a call from ADTI called ADT and was told the police contact number they had on file for my account was the [redacted] SheriffsI called the [redacted] and they informed me they did not receive a call from ADT and that they don't cover [redacted] ***I realized at that point my home has had no police coverage the entire life of the contract and I have been paying a month for stickers on my windows and a sign in my yard I contacted ADT several times and each time talked to a different representative....in a different

We had a system installed 12/27/18; installation was finished around 4pm Told we had BUSINESS Days to cancel contract The customer service people were extremely rude, of them REFUSED to let me speak to Supervisor; one threatened me with lawyers According to ADT I was within my business days, but ADT refers the account to Defenders for the !st months, which is a fact that was never disclosedI thought the entire contract was with ADT Friday 12/being first day; Monday 12/being second day and Wednesday, Jan ( the day I called Defenders) being the 3rd day January was a holiday and DEcember 29+was the weekend When I contacted Defenders, they told me they consider Saturday a business day, (which is not stated anywhere in the contract) I was within legal business days

This company is who I was directed to when calling ADTThe sales team lied to me over the phone which was recorded according to themI also wrote down "badge numbers." I was told yes I was getting home security for $per month and the sale's guys (of them) insisted they were giving me all this "free" stuff (swapping to the manager and I was told to act suprised by sales guy #1) Tech guy came and installed and signed my name to the contractI called and complained about the forgery and the costs doubledI was given an apology and discounted $per month for the problem Tech guy #came so I could sign the contract that I was supposed to have gotten with tech #It never was turned in (so I was told) I got another email a week or so later with yet another contract for me to sign from tech # I called and told they didn't have one signed on file so I needed to sign it I was concerned because I did not trust tech #by now Today I no longer had Pulse to check my

I moved from home in Colorado Springs which had a security system to a home in [redacted] where a new system was installed I informed them at the time of removing the old system that due to electrical upgrades on the home we purchased I wouldn't be able to install a new system until July 31, I was told that was fine that as long as a reinstall was scheduled there would be no contract penalty However, they continued to charge me $month for June, July and August for the old system despite there being no system installed at the old locationOn August 1, I was charge for the old system as well as for the new system I called customer service at ADT and was told that Defenders handled the old account and I had to call them I call Defenders and the man said that it's an ADT account and in my mid-sentence of me trying to explain I had already spoken to them he transferred me back to ADT The customer service rep at ADT then cut me off while I was trying to explain tha

I received an unsolicited offer to purchase an ADT alarm system via emailI called and spoke with a representative of the company Protect Your Home, At the time I did not realize that I was not dealing with ADT directlyI explained to the rep on the phone that I was ONLY interested in the service for $a month with the $installation feeI was told that the fee was for customers with a landline and when I told the rep that I did not have a landline I was told that because I had [redacted] with internet service that the installation could be made and I would be charged $a month I asked multiple times to confirm this over the phone and was assured that was the case When the installer arrived I told him about the terms that I agreed to and reiterated those terms as he ***empted to sell me additional productsI clearly indicated to him that I was only interested in sending the $a month and covering the $installation because that is all that I can accommodate

My home was burglarized on May 10, I contacted ADT security systems regarding a promotion that I received in the mail Shortly after, I began to have equipment failure (sensors were falling off windows and doors) This in turn, has triggered the alarm to go off several times in the middle of the night, when I am away from my homeThe sensors were broken and my home has been left unprotected for a long period of timeI have contacted ADT, who informed me that the authorized dealer, The Defenders, would have to be the ones to resolve the issue I contacted them immediately I spoke with several people, to include Birgy [redacted] , with customer care loyalty in Indianapolis, IN She informed me that the earliest that they would be able to secure my home would be the next following day, hours later from the initial problem It is unacceptable to purchase a product from a company that has a security guarantee on their product, yet the product lacks sustainability and leaves th

My home was broken into in OctoberI called, and ADT was able to come out the same day to install product and begin monitoring my homeGreat! When I callled, the only phone number I gave was my cellI am not planning to keep a land lineADT took down the landline numberI have been trying for all these months to remove the landline number, and yet Defenders uses that number to callTheir number shows yo as "Buca Raton, FL" on my phone, there is a hesitation at the beginning, so I hung up on them for months before hearing someone speak and discovering that it was not a solicitation call Apparently, when the billing changed from ADT to Defenders, they stopped automatically billing my credit cardThey called (the wrong number) for months, never leaving a message, to tell me I owed moneyIn May, they spoke to me, I caught up on the bill, and I was told that automatic billing would resumeIt didn'tOh! And they were not able to send an invoice to show that I actually owed over $170! Just got off the phoneThey claim I owe months, can't send an invoice, and apologize for not setting up automatic billing If I was caught up last month, how can I owe months??? And if I want paper billing, it'll cost extra every month Revdex.com, please remove the A+ ratingThey do not deserve this! They won't remove the wrong phone number, they won't send an invoice, they yell at me for not paying when it's their own fault for not charging my card, they refuse to send an invoice, and today, refused to allow me to speak to the supervisor***, really! If I had it to do over again, even with the trauma of a break in and no sleep at all, I would have done a bit more research Do not use this company!

While on the phone setting up security services for who I actually thought was ADT, I asked a defender employee if there would be a credit pull which would cause an inquiry to reflect on my credit reportThe employee told me it would notI was then transferred to her manager for additional assistanceI took that opportunity to also ask the manager ( Courtney ***) if a credit check would be done and show on my credit reportThe manager also told me nothing would show on my credit reportLater, when the technician arrived I also asked HIM would there be an inquiry impacting my credit report before I signed the contract and he also told me it would not Low and behold there is an inquiry on my credit and my score has dropped! I am in the middle of purchasing a home and told them I could not have my credit impactedThey lied to get the sale I called defender directly and asked for assistance I asked that they review the call and / or simply do the right thing and remove

ADT gave me a free alarm system at This contractor came out and lied I didn’t even know they are not ADT and they initially wanted over They billed me for and rewrites the contact on their computer at a month They blanked that out on my copy They following day they billed me for dollars and the nonsense began They said, knowing they lied, they would reimburse me I am only dealing with ADT from here onThey have not reimbursed me! Check your complaint page, [redacted] or [redacted] and see that they lie and cheat everyone!

I was put on another 3yrwithout my permission Service tech told me that system could be turned back on without doing so as approved by his boss I had system put in May at rental home and was told that it belonged to me and if I moved I could take it with me I purchased home and took it with me and installed it myself at new residence I called ADT to come turn it back on and when tech showed up I informed him that all I wanted was for it to be turned back onHe told me that I would have to sign a new contract I told him that I was not and that if he could not just turn it back on that we would just leave it alone He then called his boss and told me it was approved to turn system back on without signing a new contract So this was done, after turning it on he asked me to sign his tablet because this was all he had for this job I informed him again that I was not signing a new contract and he told me that everything was good, not to worry because he had approval

In June of I had ADT home alarm system installed in my home The installer was also a high pressure salesman He put things in my home I told him I did not need or want He told me to keep them and see how I liked them The installation process took days (total hours) I called the company (ADT) and the same person came out to remove the items I told him I did hot want He told me I would be getting a credit adjustment Once he took away those items I agreed to pay a month ADT began sending me bills for a month I paid a few bills but in August ADT called me and said they did not have a signed contract from me They sent me a contract with per month and I told them I refused to sign this There is not enough room here to give all the details of this now on-going month issue

Our complaint lies with Rossi B [redacted] , a Security Advisor with Defenders, an authorized vendor for ADT Our family contacted ADT late December to acquire a security system for our homeAs an authorized vendor for ADT, Defenders acted as the seller and provider of the security productsI spoke directly with MrB [redacted] about the productOur one hesitation about purchasing the system was that we did not want to get locked into a contract, since we knew that we were moving in eight months and that we'd likely move to an apartment building which did not accept an outside security systemWe were told explicitly by MrB [redacted] that ADT contracts last two years and that we would have to pay percent of the remainder should we cancelWe nearly declined the system as a resultBut MrB [redacted] and his manager, Harry, promised us that we could get out of the contract if we could provide a letter from our new building stating that it did not accept security systemsWe

Upon checking my credit I found out that ADT Defender has billed me 1613$ without my knowledge, the worst is I still have an open account with them I spoke to a rude customer service representative from ADT Defender by the name of Vernon with the ID#on 1/3/He had the audacity to tell me that I was under a contract with them for two years and which I had no knowledge of because they bill me every month for the current service that I have with themTo my understanding I thought my account was in good standing since they withdraw the money every month from my accountWhen I asked to speak to a manager, he told me that there is no manager available, and that the manager will tell me the same thingI would like like to get this matter resolved

I wanted to share my first impressions of your company with youI'm a first time home owner and wanted peace of mind to protect my home, so the obvious choice in my mind was to go to ADT because you have a great reputation, and I've heard great things On Wednesday I called your sales office to take advantage of a offer I got In the mail, $for sensorsA great deal I thought This is bait and switch number one: I'm told over the phone that because I don't have a home phone line I do not qualify for the $for sensors, but that they can offer me wireless sensors for $I go ahead and agree because I'm assured that it's more secure, and still a great dealI'm assured that this will be more than enough equipment to fully protect my home On Thursday the technician arrived at my home for installBait and switch number two: the technician first try's to sell me a $package, I declineHe then tells me that he can only install sensors, one on my front door

This company has misrepresented the amount that was to be charged to my credit account in the amount of dollars At no time during the installation process did the installer tell me he was "upgrading the security system and would cost being split into parts and billed in subsequent months I attempted to contact the merchant and was given very poor customer service by representative Dominique employee ID and was told " you signed a contract so..." when I proceeded to tell her I would pursue this with the [redacted] and dispute the charges she said "do what you gotta do" I then called back as the resolve with this particular agent seemed fruitless I then spoke to agent Maria Employee ID and requested to cancel my contract and have the equipment removed from my home and was told " there is nothing I can do for you, you will have to call account services tomorrow I feel this company does not have ethical or moral business process when it com

Dear Customer Service, We haven't been able to use our alarm system since it was first installed on 07/14/ Our original agreement with ADT was to have a system placed with three cameras and smoke detector along with the alarm Our alarm system seems to work but the cameras aren't working, and the smoke detector wasn't placed Richard the service repthat has been by our house four times never comes prepared The last time he came by he complained to my wife and was being very unprofessional and did a sloppy job with installing our alarm He told us to mount the cameras on the walls ourselves It has been an ongoing issue with them I have called his manager Chase, only to receive the same amount of unprofessionalism from him as well He didn't care to fix the issue and just took offense to my complaint Defenders have failed to complete our alarm system Our cameras and smoke detectors aren't working yet The installer Richard is very unprofessionalI can't believe D

Okay my husband saw an add from Adt who Defenders is a provider of, they have an advertisement that for first time customers the monthly bill will be $a month, my husband called and they told him it was for all sensors, stickers etc for a year, then when they came to installed it, the guy who installed it said it will be more if we didn't had a landline, we had schedule to install the land line the same day but they couldn't make it from [redacted] , so the guy said to my husband no worries I will tell them somebody need to comeback when the land line is on and will be the same price he even wrote it out and signed it, we have a picture of the document, but the guy lied and when my husband called again telling them what the installer said they said no it will be more money, my husband called to cancel and we received a letter from the Account Services Specialist from Defenders, employee number Kellie F [redacted] ticket number [redacted] that the account was cancelled as of 8/30/an
