Registration itself however, is always free for our users.  We would like to point out that it is impossible for our company to charge a customer’s credit card without their permission. The purchase price of the starter bid package is listed three different times on our billing page to make sure the customer is aware of the purchase being made.  Upon signing up for a membership on our site you were asked to read our ‘Terms and Conditions’ and to check a box acknowledging that you read and understood this article. These terms and conditions clearly state how this site works. In addition, our business model as well as the ins and outs of the website, are easily found in both the ‘Help’ section and in ‘QuiBids 101’. Each bid costs just $0.60. Our most popular bid packages are available by selecting the Buy Bids tab on the main menu bar. These bids are pre-paid and placed in your Bids Account. Each time you place a bid, your Bids Account is deducted one bid. Once a bid is placed the auction price will go up in increments of 1,2,5,10,15, or 20 cents. . A maximum of 20 seconds is also added to the timer every time someone bids. This gives enough time for someone else to make the decision to bid if they're interested. This is similar to the “Going once...Going twice...SOLD!” approach of traditional auctions. If you are the top bidder when the timer reaches zero, you win.  You will then pay the ending auction price as well as the cost of shipping.  If you do not win, you lose your bids that have been placed; however, we offer a "Buy it Now" feature on all auctions. When you use our “Buy it Now” feature, we subtract the cash value of the bids you’ve placed (excluding voucher bids) from the value price of the item, and you only have to pay the difference. Let's say you spend 30 bids trying to win a $30 valued product, but you don't win. Your 30 bids are worth $18 (30 x $0.60), so if you choose to use the "Buy It Now', you would pay $12 plus shipping for the product.  *Please note that this offer applies to real bids only, and that voucher bids to do not apply to the ‘Buy It Now’ option. It appears that all money has been returned to your account. The money will not appear as a refund because the transactions were voided by our system. This means the money was never taken in the first place it was just pending and has been returned to your account. Please check with your financial institution if you have any further questions.

I am rejecting this response because: I had plenty of bids left up until the time that Quibids deleted them from my account. It's obvious that Quibids doesn't want to honor the bids as they should, so I wouldn't recommend anyone using their company for auctions bidding.

Hello, Thank you for your email.  If you would take a look at the 3rd document sent as a screenshot, it explains the process of purchasing the starter bid pack.  It says, I (the customer), understand that I have purchased a Starter Bid Pack from Quibids.com containing bids valued at 60 cents per bids.  At this time a portion or all of the bids have been used in the auctions that I've participated in and can be referenced in the "Bidding History" section located under the "My Quibids" tab in my account.  This was agreed upon during registration.  If you have any other questions feel free to contact us.  Thank you and have a great day. Sincerely, [redacted]Compliance

This response is generic and covers all the information easily found on there website. It at no point in time addresses the fact that my account was disabled and the items won using my $60 worth of bids were never recieved. I understand that lost bids are not reimbersable as I dont have an issue with grasping the obvious. The issue here is that they took my money, aka "real bids", and did not issue the items won nor a refund. This response at no point in time refers to the rude and aggressive gentleman that treated me quite poorly on the phone either. Simply unacceptable.

I called the phone number that they said to call and tried to talk with the customer support agent on the phone. I brought up the fact that if I had received my 3 free bids for signing up then the bid from my account would not have been accidentally used. She stated that is you would have read the terms and conditions then you would have known that once you have used a bid we cannot issue a refund for that bid. I stated I understand that but if I had received my "voucher" bids then the bid would not have been used and I should receive a full refund. Rudely she stated their is nothing more we can do for you.

This was EXACTLY what happened to me! This person filed their complaint 11/20/15 Log (547) so I must not be the only person misunderstanding your so called transparent website. I'm sure if I looked further down there would be many more exactly like mine and the one below. Your website clearly stated it was giving me 100 bid/vouchers free for registering. No where did it state that it was going to charge my credit card.
I Complaint
I thought I was registering an account and entering my credit card information to be used later when I made a bid; instead I was buying a bid package.
I intended to register an account and when the page asked for my credit card information I entered it believing that it would be stored for them to charge me when I made a bid. Instead, I immediately received an email stating I had been charged $60 for purchasing a bid packet. Nowhere on the screen where I entered my credit card information did it prompt me to approve a $60 purchase. This is a very misleading transaction and in my opinion ought not to be allowed. I purchase goods on the internet all the time so I an not a naiive purchaser and even I fell for this trap. If they were being above board they would have a screen that asked you to confrim that you wished to make this $60 purchase. I have no intention of ever making a bid on their site after seeing how they do business. I would like the $60 refunded to me. I contacted Wells Fargo who said they could not do anything about this because I had entered my credit card information on their webpage - so they have conveniently blocked consumers from being able to simple ask their bank to not approve the charge that was never intentionally authorized.

I am requesting the $60 to be refunded to my account and to terminate my account with them.

its a generic response. they won't talk to me. the info and phone number leads back to the person named [redacted] and he won't take my calls. the whole point of this is to get an explanation from quibids asap. what exactly is the point of all this. do they know who I am? that I am the complainant? a person in customer service ([redacted]) answered the call, asked for my email address and told me that [redacted] was busy. I left a message and I suspect that I will NEVER hear from them. whats next???

After reviewing your account and speaking with our Customer Support team it appears that your account has been permanently disabled due to abuse of our Customer Support department and our Vendor Relations. In very few instances we have been forced to disable accounts that are negatively effecting our employees, customers, and vendors. It appears that you have had this explained to you by the Director of our Compliance Department. Unfortunately there are instances when we are forced to make a decision to disable an account when we feel that keeping the user as a member of our website will continue to negatively effect or operations. Issues that factor into this decision include constant abuse of our Customer Support team, false claims on shipped items, and reaching out to the Customer Support team of our vendors in attempt to receive refunds or exchanges that were not granted by QuiBids. We have reviewed your account termination at your request and still feel that it is in our best interest for your account to remain permanently disabled.
