Good afternoon,[redacted] has been communicating with the customer to ensure that all outstanding questions have been answered. In regards to the customer's questions around the gift card, below are the questions our customer had and the answers provided by our local team... A.    How much am I required to spend to use the gift card? i.e. do I have to spend $500 to get $200 off or can I simply purchase $200 worth of items from the store – if the latter is the answer to that question than I that is acceptable There is no minimum purchase needed. You can purchase something equaling $200, and have it paid for, less than $200 and have a remaining balance, or apply it to a larger purchase. B.    What is the expiration date of the gift card? Do I have a six months or a year to use the gift card or am I required to use it within thirty days. All gift cards sent in November will have an expiration date of 4/30/17.If I can use the gift card for purchases costing $200 and under and if the expiration date of the gift card is at last six months in the future – then I will accept the deal. Please let us know if there are any outstanding questions or concerns. Thank you!

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.A sales rep called me and offered a refund in 60% of purchase price of both my sofa and loveseatI have a voice recording of the representative Elisabeth P[redacted] stated suchWhen I spoke with the leader she was not willing to give me the offered that I agreed to and said that she could only offer me $in store creditI would then loose my platinum Protection Plan and would also have to return my furnitureAs previously stated the white stains were residue that raymour and Flanigan technician left after cleaning my sofa and loveseat in They also agreed to fix the sofa pillows then and never did! The next offer was to give me back the money of the platinum Protection Plan which is unreasonable because it would not be enough to pay for my sofa and loveseat to be professionally cleaned and fix my pillowRaymour and Flanigan continues to lie to me as far as what they will do to resolve this problem and they are misrepresenting the platinum plan to make additional sales from unsuspecting customersThe plan only covers spot cleaning and is a waste of moneyThe furniture is obviously faulty because it started to rip at the seams when I originally purchased itAt this time I feel my only option is to contact a lawyer

The store manager has also me mentioned that Raymour & Flanigan sent a request to all three major credit bureaus to have the hard inquiry removed from my credit report. TD bank will also have the hard inquiry removed from my credit report.

I do not have an infestation. They are saying anything to remove themselves from liability but haven't sent anyone to investigate. Four people sleep in that room. Only when the mattress is on that frame ais anyone bitten.

Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.We do not accept the check. The check was delivered but we are not cashing it. When the warranty package was purchased we were informed by the sales department that it covers ALL SCRATCHES, ALL MARKS, ALL RIPS AND TEARS due to wear and tear and one time use as well. We purchased the warranty knowing this information and we were only informed with our last phone call to the warranty department a few weeks ago that our side table and coffee table are included in this warranty. When we called to place the service call in January we were never informed that they tried to repair it as a courtesy. We were informed we had to call again as the repair was not going to "stick". When the supervisor at the warranty department said we were satisfied with the original repair we said no we were not we were advised to sign the form for the technician saying he came out to the house and attempted a repair. When the warranty supervisor was told this they said they cannot find anything from the January visit. The supervisor kept asking if the damage was from a one time incident we said yes but by the time a technician came out 2-4 weeks later more damage had ensued.The warranty department and sales department and technicians are not on the same page. They are all telling us different things and trying to put this issue to rest. However, we do not want the refund we want the couches and the coffee table fixed properly as we were advised upon purchasing this warranty. We were falsely advised regarding the warranty upon purchase and now we are trying to be pushed aside because they want us to have a check and walk away with couches that are damaged.

As per our conversation, I have authorized the replacement of your Sofa and Loveseat due to the fact that you reported the issues prior to your manufacturer's warranty expiring.? I am also going to replace your dining chairs, being that the reselect was previously authorized.? As I stated during our conversation, I am also authorizing the reselection of your dining table with a 20% restocking fee pending an inspection by one of our Expert Furniture Technicians.? Should the technician deem the table up to manufacturer's standards and in good condition, I will move forward with adding the value of the? two components of the table,? (base and top; highlighted below), minus the 20% restocking fee to your reselection.? In order to move forward with this offer, we will need a response within the next hours.? I have copied the Customer Care Lead on this e-mail, so she may further assist you if you reply after today as I will not be back in the office until Monday, 11/13/2017.? Once we have your response, we can move forward with creating and scheduling your inspection.?
