Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: it is not my responsibility as a consumer to repeatedly have to contact a business about a fine that they FRAUDULENTLY placed on my car And that they expect me to do it for more than a week is gallingIt is Republic Parking Northwest's responsibility to admit to their wrongdoing and expunge my record with them I expect proof that this fine has been expunged based upon their documented history (as reflected by a multitude of complaints to the Revdex.com and their well warranted "F" rating) of pursuing excessive late fees for fines that are being contested I am the second consumer to report this behavior at this particular lot to the Revdex.com in the last months Republic Parking Northwest must discontinue giving fines to metropolitan market customers who are parking well under the two hours that they are allowed for free Secondly, Monday 5/is Memorial Day There is no way that Republic Parking Northwest - given their non-responsiveness the MANY times that I have already reached out to them about this fraudulent fine - will be fixing this issue on a holiday
Sincerely,
*** ***

Notice *** was issued on 1/29/for ‘Overtime Parking’ at our privately-owned location, Ballard Square, 30-‘Overtime Parking’ notices are issued because the vehicle has an expired payment receipt displayed. The ‘Overtime Parking’ notice is issued for the flat rate of $as our
company does not know when the customer will return to their vehicleThe customer emailed our Notice Department on 1/to which we replied on 2/stating the reason why the notice was issued and that the notice had been temporarily negotiated to $as a one-time courtesyThe customer has been emailed the payment methods. Thank You

Hello,
I received an email from the manager of the locationHe stated that he has issued a refund for $on 3/It can take up to 7-business days to see the refund in your account
Thank You

***,
We have reviewed the emails sent by the customer and the complaint filedWe checked our work order log and found no malfunction for the pay station on that day. We also checked our CalltoPark payment report and found payments for that time period but no payment with her license
plate
Based on the information given, the parker states that she tried to pay by the CalltoPark app but was unable to and then tried again from work but was still unable to. Also, it appears that she did not try to pay at the pay station that is located at that parking site that accepts both credit card and cash payments.
We have contacted her and will be refunding her the $as a customer courtesyWe have also advised her that in the future if she cannot pay through the CalltoPark app that she can pay at the pay station, or call us from the parking site so we can advise her on what to do
We apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused and look forward to fulfilling her future parking needs
On another note, we received complaint dated 05/03/on 05/15/2016. In order for us not to experience any delays in responding, please add John M***, Vice President, to the recipients list for Republic Parking Northwest in TacomaHis email address is ***@rpnw.com
Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

The check for $was printed Friday 5/6/& is being mailed out today
Thank You

I want Republic Parking Northwest to confirm that this fine was issued fraudulently/in error and that it has been cancelled I have received no response from Republic Parking Northwest with regards to this fraudulent fine other than their requesting that I *continue* to try to contact them via email or telephone They have not responded to my emails, voicemails, or Revdex.com complaint confirming that this fine was fraudulently placed on my vehicle and that the fine has been cancelled and deleted from their systems I don't understand their apparent position that I need to continue calling them and emailing them - in spite of their refusal to respond to ANY of my prior communications in order to get this fraudulent fine correctedI have, frankly, attempted to get someone from Republic Parking to correct this issue multiple times without any response from them

Hello,
Can I please have the notice number or your license plate number so I can contact the proper manager?
Thank You

There are two issues at hand with *** complaint; the parking notice that he received and the cracked windshield he alleges was the fault of Republic Parking Each complaint will be addressed separately in this response, starting with the issue of the parking notices Mr
*** original claim to his legitimacy of being in the lot in the attached email is because he stated he was shopping at the Grocery Outlet and that the parking lot is free public parking Mr*** also claims that our actions were illegal In his Revdex.com compliant, he now states that he had a dead battery and had to walk back to his residence to seek assistance with his vehicle's dead battery Since the first email and the complaint do not fully align with each other, we would like to ask for the following information to perhaps shed some light on this issue:
Why did Mr*** not disclose his mechenical issues in his original email?
Why does Mr*** believe the parking lot, which is clearly private property, is public parking lot free to everyone who wished to use as they need to?
With respect to the above, did Mr*** have a previous arrangement with the property owners to use the lot for his personal use?
What is the legal basis for Mr*** claim that Republic Parking's practice of issuing parking notices is illegal?
With respect to the claim of the damaged windshield, the burden of proof that a Republic Parking's employee cracked Mr*** windshield when sliding a parking notice under the windshield wiper blade is on Mr*** Until he can provide this burden of proof, this is nothing more than an unsubstantiated allegation, and Republic Parking does not consider this claim as valid

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI find it satisfactory that they are voiding the amount due, however, we were not sent a link to view photos that the business stated were available to us via their websiteWe did visit the website and did not find any photos availableAlso, there was no notice placed on our car when we returned to it as the receipt was not placed face down as the business statedWhile these statements made by the business are and not accurate, we do appreciate the business voiding the amount due as a courtesy and we will not park in their lot again
Sincerely,
*** ***

A refund request is not granted

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meAs I didn't pay for the hour I was parked, I'm willing to pay for that time (I believe it was $6)Please advise if this is satisfactory and where to send the check.Sincerely, *** ***
