Hello,I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during the use of the locationI asked the manager of the location if there are signs posted, and she sent me a picture of the sandwich sign they have posted as you drive in stating that the garage closes at 6pm I've attached the
picture.I also mentioned the idea of stating the time the garage closes on the receipt.Have you spoke to the notice dept regarding the notice? They would be the department to contact regarding the $40.Thank You

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
1) The mechanical issue is irrelevant to the damage to the car and as for the ticket it wouldn't matter because I am parked in a public lot.
2) The ticket company didn't provide any evidence to support their claim that the lot was private.
3) I did not use the lot for unintended purposesWhen I walked into the grocery with an intent to purchase groceries I entered into an informal contract with the stores management to use their parking lot while I patronize their businessFurthermore, I contacted the grocery store after the ticketing company damaged my car and was told that parking in the lot outside the business hours was permitted especially as a customer who is experiencing car trouble
4) The parking spot I was parked in is allowed to be used while patronizing surrounding businesses.
As for burden of proof, I've sent multiple pictures to the company showing the crack windshield that lines up with the wipers blades and also provided a witnessThey stated it's a sliding ticket, but the only way to get the ticket under my wipers is by lifting them off the windshield.Sincerely,*** ***

Thank you for bringing Ms***’s concerns to our attentionRepublic Parking NW (RPNW) will now present the facts the lead RPNW to the decision taken regarding Dr***’s notice removal request While every effort was made to validate Dr***’s statement, no
envelope with cash was recorded as found in the pay station on the day funds were collected by a two person collections team, nor was a team comprised of a manager and an auditor able to locate the envelope with payment in it.After reviewing our findings, and noting that Dr*** has no history of receiving parking notices from Republic Parking, we have determined that we will waive her notice This is Dr***’s first notice and she did make a good faith effort in contacting usOur Notice Department will contact her to inform her that her notice will be waived. If you have any questions about this response, please feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience Our direct line is 253-627-

Hello,
I sent the complaint to the Manager of the location so I can reply to the complaint Here is his response
In the past we had situations like these where there was some confusion while parking with us at 30-159. We therefore added the sign seen in the attached
photo next to the street pay meter. We did this as a courtesy to our customers not as an obligation
It is not our responsibility that you know the difference between a private parking meter and street parking meter It is also not our responsibility where the city decides where to place their meters With this sign you should have read and realized where to park.
Regardless of the sign, we are more than happy to work with you through the confusion
What we can do is what we have done, which is to reduce the Notice you received from us to an amount you normally would have paid had you paid our parking meter from the beginning.
As a company we try to make our parking services as easy as possible to use. There are however situations like these where confusion does take place. We are not penalizing you for not paying the correct meter, we are not charging you more than what you normally would have paid, we are simply stipulating that you must pay for the parking you have already received.
I hope you understand that as a business we facilitate parking and that your use of our location could have been used by someone else had you not been there. You were there, therefore parking must be paid for

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: Thank you for your response! It is also not our responsibility that the parking sign is confusingWe were being completely diligent even when we traveled to a foreign landIt's not right to charge tourists for the confusing signsI'll be more than happy to pay for the parking fare for "taking the spots that could have been taken by other vehicles" but not the parking ticketsI'm sorry!

Hello, The notice dept sent me pictures of the signageThey said that the garage generally closes at 8pm, however, it can have varying hours due to season/events, etcThe time on the board are magnetic, and are changed accordingly

Hello,
I looked up the notes for the notice you receivedIt looks like you spoke with someone who reduced it to $& said you would pay it onlineI just want to make sure this problem has been resolved
Thank You

I am rejecting this response because: I didn't say I paid $for one car My daughter parked her car and I parked my car and we each paid $ We pulled up to the gate and found the sign (attached picture here), which clearly states the rates, in addition to the days and hours ("Monday through Sunday", not "Monday through Friday - please find another sign in another location for different rates for other times") We both parked for just over hours and had our cards validated at PCC When you pull a parking ticket from a machine with posted rates beside the dispenser and pull a car through you are agreeing to those rates To put a sign in another location to promote a significantly higher rate is disingenuous and unfair If you are going to put up a sign with different prices, how hard would it be to put it in the location where a driver pulls the ticket and is stopped to look at the rates? At the very least this business could agree to in the future to be clear to other customers I certainly will never park there again on the weekend, and feel others should be fully aware of this trickery
Sincerely,

Notice *** was issued on July 20, at our privately-owned Century Square location for Improperly ParkedIt is unclear why the customer is discussing an incident on April 6, Improperly Parked notices are issued when vehicles are parked over or outside the designated stall lines as improperly parked vehicles are deemed a safety issueThis notice was temporarily reduced from the standard $45, to $25, as a one-time courtesy via an email exchange between our notice department and the customer between 8/15/and 9/6/During this time, our notice department granted the customer the location manager’s email address for further questions regarding the circumstances of this noticeTo the best of our knowledge, the customer has not contacted the manager with regards to this noticeThis notice has never been closedCurrently this notice is open for $($for the original notice, $late payment fee) as the customer failed to pay the negotiated rate during the 2-week negotiation window.? ? Thank you,? Notice Dept

Hello, Can you please provide the notice number or license plate for the car so I can look up the information? Thank You

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: we did contact republic in the past. They never provided details of the infraction as requested including contact info of the citing inspector. We did not see any signs indicating that touching the white line was an infraction.  They did not address the issue that another vehicle parked in the space we parked, forcing us to park on the line. They also did not address the issue of double charging on 12 April after promising not to do soSincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because I was given the parking ticket within 7 minutes of parking the vehicle, and going to a [redacted] store, which is in the Factoria Village patrons. I did not leave the mall. I have attached the [redacted] e-receipt from my phone ([redacted] Receipt.png). During the morning time it typically takes at least 10-15 minutes to order the coffee and to be served. The free parking limit was 3 hours (see parking_rule.jpg). I have also attached a receipt (Safeway_Sammamish.jpg) as a proof that I was in a different city within 2 hours of the ticket issue time, and the city is 45 mins drive from the location where the ticket was issued. So this proves I did not leave the vehicle/mall.I emailed the customer service, but the email was not even read by the them, rather they sent a response threatening to charge late payment penalty. I did not make the payment to indicate I am accepting the ticket - I made the payment to avoid the bill being sent to collection agency and damaging my credit history.Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I don't reject this but I couldn't find a way to just let  them know My notice number. #[redacted] is my number and I also attach a picture to show where I parked my car.(a car isn't mine though)
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I emailed the notice dept, and here is the response. Notice number [redacted] was issued to vehicle with license plate number [redacted] on 9/2/2017. The notice was issued at [redacted], a private parking lot that our company manages. This notice was issued for the amount of $40 as the vehicle was parked over the two hour posted time limit. Per the “Terms & Conditions” posted at this location, any vehicle that is over the posted time limit is subject to a $40 parking notice and/or being towed. The customer contacted us via email on 9/1/2017 stating that they were parked at the location for lunch. The customer stated they saw signs regarding the time limit posted in the middle of the lot, but parked against a wall as they thought the policy did not apply to that portion of the lot. This vehicle was previously issued notice number [redacted] on 6/11/2017 at [redacted], a private parking garage that our company manages. This notice was also issued as the customer parked past the time in which their parking expired. The customer contacted us via email on 6/11/2017 to contest the aforementioned notice. We sent a response to the customer informing them that this notice was voided as a one-time courtesy, and that if the vehicle receives any further notices, they will need to be paid in full.Because the customer already received a one-time courtesy void and is still not complying with the posted parking policy, an email was sent in response on 9/6/2017 informing the customer the notice will need to be paid in full. This location does have signs posted against the walls and throughout the plaza, not just two signs in the middle of the lot as the customer stated. If the customer receives any further notices, they, too, will be fully enforced. This notice has been paid, and is closed in our system.

Notice number [redacted] was issued to vehicle with license plate number [redacted] on 12/1/2017 at 4:15 p.m. The notice was issued at [redacted] in Bellevue, WA, a private parking lot that our company manages. This notice was issued for $40 as the customer parked over the two-hour time...

limit. Per the “Terms & Conditions” posted, any vehicle over the posted time period is subject to a $40 parking notice and/or being towed. Our “Terms & Conditions” signs are posted at all three entrances of this location. Most of the light poles at this location have signs posted regarding the two-hour time limit. It is the customer’s responsibility to inform themselves of the posted parking policy. Being a patron of a tenant in this plaza does not permit parking over the two-hour time limit. The customer contacted us via email on 12/5/2017 stating they did not know why the notice was issued and that they were a patron of Tully’s. We sent a response on 12/8/2017 informing the customer that there is a two-hour time limit and that any vehicle parked over the posted time limit is subject to a $40 parking notice and/or being towed. We also informed the customer that per our agreement with the owner of the property, we are unable to adjust the notice, and, if payment is not received by 12/16/2017, a $25 late payment penalty would be added. Payment for this notice was not received by 12/16/2017. On 12/31/2017 and 1/19/2017, a first-attempt letter and a second-attempt letter was sent to the customer, respectively. These letters advised that the amount owed was $65, and that payment should be remitted as soon as possible to avoid further collection action. We received payment for this notice on 2/2/2018. Both the original amount owed, and the $25 late payment penalty are valid as customer parked over the posted time limit and did not remit payment by 12/16/2017 as advised. This notice is closed in our system. No refund will be issued.
