A business that does not deliver on the service they promise and then after you fulfill your end of the agreement. They sneak in a "one year" renewal clause with no email or acknowledgement that you are renewing. It is 100% deceptive practice geared at sticking it to people vs. customer service. There is no annual service commitment anywhere unless someone is somehow "renting" or paying off equipment they do not own. That is not the case with us. I am looking into civil action as well.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: We have been using Ring Central for several years and their service has been ok. Over the past 12 to 16 months, every time we logged into their "service" their system required us to create a new password. That is not a real problem, but in order to create the NEW Required password, their system REQUIRED us to provide them with our old password. 
The big problem is we have about three or four different employees that need to access the Ring Central login, to get their individual messages, etc. Remember, EACH TIME any one of us, logged in their system required us to create a new password. So, one person may login and reset the password, then the next person that tries to login, has to reset the password again, BUT the second person must have the last password to set a new password.
Second the quality of the phone calls has dropped over the past 12  months, alot.
We are a small company and we do NOT have EXTRA time to deal with teh Ring Central tech department or to continually reset the password each time we log in.
We cancelled our service due to POOR QUALITY SERVICE and POORER Online Connectablity.
We are VERY UNSATISFIED with the Ring Central Service and we will NOT recommend them to anyone.
We just want the unsued portion of the annual amount refunded, because the service is BELOW even average.

response because: although they did place a credit on my account and did correct the system on the backend, the correct pricing is still not showing up in the billing section of my account. A contract is in place and we will be enforcing the contract. It is still ongoing but the ball is in the customers court to continue troubleshooting the issue, which we are more than willing to do but the customer has had difficulties doing so...

We understand that a visual error is still present but the actual billing portion is corrected. We dont expect the customer to be happy with the visual error, and do expect for it to be fixed in the future releases.

Ring Central did cancel my account after I had to jump through all their hoops. Although I was able to resolve my complaint, I feel their business practices are very suspect.

First, the company stated that the refund would be issued.  See below.  On the phone, we were told by [redacted] to simply reject the package and we would not be charged.  We never touched the package.   Again, this speaks to the ethical issues I have encountered with this company.  If this cannot be resolved using this medium, I will speak to an attorney next.

I've just received the refund to my credit card from RingCentral and also a phone call from them with an apology. I explained the problem I had to their quality control person and hopefully they'll resolve their internal problem...

of not returning calls and doing hang ups during a cancellation request.
Your help has been much appreciated. I don't think this would have been resolved without your involvement.

Well wouldn't you know...

that this company became very reasonable after making my complaint to Revdex.com, my original contact totally blew me off, and said they could not do anything, a contract is a contract, it didn't matter if I was using it or not.
Then after the Revdex.com complaint was filed I received a call from another customer service person, whom allowed me to modify my contract favorably. This rep was very professional, courteous, timely and accountable and was very genuine in her desire to assist in the matter.
As of today they not only modified my contract, they also shortened it's duration and gave me a refund from last month since a billing cycle came and went while we were renegotiating the contract.
All in all thank you to RingCentral.com and the Revdex.com. I had never made a complaint to the Revdex.com before but now realize they are completely legit, and their influence is real.
