We were using Ring Central since and now it is I decided to move out of Ring Central because of their decision to arbitrarily increase the monthly charges by about 40% It is a real nightmare and it has been a horrendous experience for over weeks They seem to keep shunting me and my team between their Account Management Dept, Porting Department, Porting Escalation Department, Technical Support Department, Customer care department Several numbers are not working for over two weeks There is no single person to take responsibility.of the porting

Although I never fully went through with their service yet, the process of trying to purchase a plan was atrocious, full of misinformation in their marketing and rudeness from the salesmanWhen I talked to him for the first time, the salesman was very upbeat and seemed knowledgeableI talked I gave him my budget and he went through the plans with meI decided on a plan based off his recommendationHe did not tell me that the price would increase because I only had one user on the accountI work for a nonprofit that serves older victims of crime and abuse, so as you can imagine, I have a very strict budget to pay for our hotlineWhen you go to their website to look over the different plans they advertise a different price then what the plan actually costsIt does have a small "i" beside the number but it is very small and looks like it is just saying to look for a footnote, which there is noneOnly way to see the correct pricing is by hoovering over the small "i"I feel this is not honest advertisingWhen I expressed this concern to my salesperson (I was not aiming to change the amount they charged me, but rather that they understand my criticism) he continued to tell me I was incorrectThen he continued to be rude towards meI asked to talk to his manager, and I was told he was in a meeting, and he could not talkI had to insist in talking with the manager, and ask for them to call me backI am currently waiting for the call backI want to discuss what I am to expect with the purchase of the plan and to discuss the way the salesman interacted on the callI contacted the company via live chat to make sure I would be called back, and they assured me that they where talking with the manager and he was calling me backThey asked for the number to call back twice, and they still called the wrong number

It's ADVERTISING for a corporation to post a deal on their website that they don't intend to honorI wouldn't mind if it was a mistake, but to KNOWINGLY use it as a marketing tactic to get customers to inquire, reveals something about RingCentral's ethicsHad I signed up, I'd be concerned about issues with privacy, data, or even general customerLuckily we have choices

I've been trying to cancel this account for over a yearThis response is the perfect example of how they make cancelling nearly impossible

Revdex.com - this is far from a reasonable response and does not resolve this case
We are not aware of any signed contract, and Ring Central's reply shows no evidence of a contract, or acknowledgement that we have been trying to cancel our account for a very long time
Furthermore, wouldn't it be appropriate for them to tell us when this apparent contract expires? We clearly do not want to be their customer any more, so some sort of acknowledgement that our account will get terminated "at some point" would be useful too
Underlying all this I believe is a very unethical business practice that I would ask you to investigate further and make publicly visible for others to seeThey make it impossible to cancel the account via a web request, forcing customers to call inThen, their phone service is ridiculously slowThey send invoices and billing related system emails from a "***@ringcentral.com" account so that it's difficult for customers to make support requests easily from a billing related emailIt doesn't take a genius to see that this is all clearly designed to make it very difficult for customers to cancel or dispute an invoice
I do not consider this case resolvedIf RingCentral are going to continue to provide brief, non-specific responses, I would request further intervention from the Revdex.com

These folks have repeatedly harassed me through email, etcsoliciting business I have asked them several times to stop They keep disusing their email address to avoid my spam filter I would rather rely on the pony express than to use this company

I called up and tried to cancel an E-fax number that I no longer use but was billed for the month beforeThey refused to refund any money and said that it was their policy not to refund a canceled policy after it was billedThe customer service rep then told me he would do me the favor allowing me to access the account that they refused to refund, unbelievableStay away from these people
