We were only able to reach VM so we cannot confirm with the customer but we have taken measures we believe should have stopped the solicitations

Customer has decided to stay on the contracted rate due to the price difference between contracted and non contracted ratesThe customer has told us they will contact us back if this changes

With respect to the above referenced complaint I was contacted directly by Ring Central, the business I was complaining about
I was surprised to receive a call from them, as your website states the following:
What is the next step?
The Revdex.com is waiting for a response from the business in regards to this complaint
There is no action for you to take at this timeWe will contact you when we next require your input
In any case, they asked for additional documentation, since the sales rep has left the company and they no longer have access to his emails
They asked me for a “transcript.” I’m not sure exactly what they are referring to
In my original complaint, I provide the email address, account number and reference number made available to me from invoices and emails
I can’t claim to have all the emails, but I’ve attached one I found readily available, as a courtesy
I would expect a business of their size to maintain better records and not request their customers to keep the emails from their own staff

canceled in December After I called about RingCentral fraudulently charging my credit card, they claimed the account was never canceled even though I have cancelation emailsI also was not charged for months after cancelation and then suddenly months after cancelation I get charged? RingCentral should be fined every time they try to charge someone fraudulentlyI filed a complaint with the FCC and Atturney GeneralCompanies like this will not get away with bullying customers around

When the customer called in on 12/24/to cancel, he was given a free month as an alternative to cancelAfter this offer was accepted, we changed phone numbers on the account at the clients request that dayClient also called in on 12/27/and changed another numberWhile we attempted to charge the account, post this December, all charges were declined by the credit card provider accept for the final charge in April which was refunded when the account was cancelled

I have cancelled my account over a year ago and just recently started seeing charges again from Ring CentralEach time you try to close your account your have to call (this should give you an indication of what type of company this is), and get ready for long waitingNo one falls on their claim that they want your to call for "your security"We all know why they are forcing you to call for cancellations :-)
When you call, you have to be very carefulApparently they don't close your account -- they change it to limited use, which just pauses your account for a yearYou will not be informed of this, although representative said I should have been informedI may have believed that this is just a mistake but when I asked to close my account and have the charges refunded (because no service has been used), I was told that no refund can be provided for unused minutes! Smelling a scam here? :-)
Only after me threatening to report to Revdex.com and after waiting some more on the line to talk to the manager -- I don't think there is a manager, they just hope that you will give up and hang up -- I was told that I would be given a refund
For those of you who are considering signing up for their services, you are dealing with a company who has scam like practices on retaining your account
For those of you who are using Ring Central Services, I would consider closing :-)
For those of you who are considering closing their account, make sure to ask for an email confirmation that your account is closed
