The customer placed the order on 4/04/2015. This is when they paid the initial $4.95 for shipping and handling and this began the trial period to sample from the initial 30 day supply they were sent. Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during the allotted time, the customer was automatically billed for the 30 day supply on 4/19/2015 as explained in the terms and conditions which they agreed to. The consumer contacted Ripped Muscle X on 5/14/2015 with a request for cancellation. The account was cancelled immediately as instructed and the customer was sent a cancellation confirmation via email. We assumed this account was settled and closed until we received this claim. We have refunded amount of $87.63 due to this complaint, however, we stand by our policies and we would like to reiterate that our customers accept the terms and conditions two separate times to process their order. We state the terms and conditions clearly, and send a synopsis card with our contact information, with each order. Terms and conditions are located on all ordering websites, and should be read as they are there for a reason. Based on the nature of the email the customer explained that they have returned the product. We have issued the customer a refund today in the amount of $87.63 as we care about customer satisfaction. The refund will take three to seven business days to credit back.

Based on the nature of the email, the customer service agent refunded the charge of $87.63 on that same day. The consumer would have received an e-mail confirmation of the cancellation and refund. The refund will take three to seven business days to credit back.

Mr. [redacted] placed an order on  07/16/14 for the 14-day trial of a 30-day product supply. He placed his order online for the shipping and handling cost of $4.95. On the website, he agreed to the terms and conditions twice that verified he was aware he had to cancel within 14-days, or he...

would be charged for the full retail price of $87.63 for the 30-day product supply he received. We received no contact within his trial period, and he was subsequently charged $87.63 on 08/07/14. This information is verified on our website www.rippedmusclex.com and www.rippedmusclex.com/main/order.php to verify the terms and conditions before he processed the order. The first attempt we had from the consumer to cancel was on 08/28/14. He sent an e-mail to confirm his cancellation, he was immediately cancelled and sent an e-mail confirmation to verify the account had been closed. We do see that he requested a refund, and his request was not replied to. We apologize for this inconvenience and due to this error have issued a full refund of $87.63 from 08/07/14. This refund will take three to seven business days to credit back onto his account.

I still do not think Ripped Muscle X understands that I never received their products, thus there would be no reason to cancel. Please allow 4-6 week delivery period? I haven't even gotten to the 1 month period so again why would I cancel? This was exactly my frustration with this company. Everyone is trained to speak company policy verbatim but not one person actually listened and no one is still listening.

The consumer placed the order originally on 08/09/2012. This is when they paid the initial $4.95 and this began the 14 day trial period to sample from the initial 30 day supply. Since there was...

no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during the allotted trial period, the consumer was automatically billed for the 30 day supply on 08/24/12 as explained in the terms and conditions for which they agreed to. The account had a monthly membership for $87.63 that recurred on 09/23/12, 10/23/12, 11/22/12, 12/22/12, and 01/21/13. The consumer contacted our company on 02/18/13 with a request for cancellation. The account was canceled immediately as instructed and they were sent a confirmation email confirming the cancellation. Based on the nature of the call, the customer service agent refunded a partial charge of $44.00 on that same day. The consumer would have received an e-mail confirmation of the cancellation and refund. The refund usually takes three to seven business days to credit back. The consumer then contacted us again on 08/19/2014. We made an exception and issued three more credits, the remainder of the January charge at $43.63, a full refund of December at $87.63, and a partial of November at $43.82. The total refund amount for 08/19/14 was $175.08. This credit was originally issued back onto an account that was closed by the consumer at an earlier date. 
 
After communication between Ripped Muscle Xtreme, and [redacted], we found a solution. Bank of America directly contacted our supervisor, [redacted] and the account should be reinstated. We have directly confirmed information with [redacted] and come to a resolution. We appreciate his feedback regarding our business, and our hopes to provide excellent customer service. [redacted] is aware of how to contact us should there be any further issues in regards to this account. He has been sent e-mail confirmations of all refunds, and the cancellation that was originally applied in February 2013.

I was charged, before my full 14 day trial was completed. I ordered the product on 4/14/14 at 11:44pm and was charged on 4/29/14 before 11:44pm. No where, on the product description does it say that you can submit by email a cancelation request. It only list a phone number which it's times to call are during the normal work day, when most americans aren't permitted to make a personal phone call.

Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during the allotted time, the customer was automatically billed for the 30 day supply on 02/23/15 as explained in the terms and conditions which they agreed to. The consumer contacted Ripped Muscle X on 03/02/15 with a request for cancellation. The account was cancelled immediately as instructed and the customer was sent a cancellation confirmation via email. We have refunded the amount of $87.63 due to this complaint, however we stand by our policies and we would like to reiterate that our customers accept the terms and conditions two separate times to process their order. We state the terms and conditions clearly, and send a synopsis card with our contact information, with each order. We received a notice from you that we had not responded to the customer's rebuttal of our response, however we contacted the customer directly regarding their account, and are sending a refund check in the amount of $350.52. This is the amount the customer has been charged, minus the charges he placed in a dispute with his bank. The information he provided for CollectPros was sent by mistake via a third party and there will be no further action on his account.

If the customer keeps their 30 day supply after the 14 days, they are automatically billed for their product on the 15th day and then automatically shipped and billed a product every 30 days thereafter. If a customer needs to contact customer service, the phone number is listed on rippedmusclex.com, the product, the pamphlet, and the package the product is shipped in. The terms are disclosed clearly on rippedmusclex.com where the customer would have ordered their product. The customer has to also click "I agree to the terms and conditions" twice before the order is processed. If the customer does not "agree" to the terms, the order will not process. The terms and conditions are disclosed directly on the ordering website not only on the bottom of the first page, but also highlighted in a large white box on the second page where the customer inputs their card information, as well as sent out with the product. The consumer placed the order on 07/09/14. This is when they paid the initial $4.95 and this began the 14 day trial period to sample from the initial 30 day supply. Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during the allotted trial period, the consumer was automatically billed for the 30 day supply on 07/24/14 as explained in the terms and conditions for which they agreed to. There was a monthly membership rebill on 08/23/14 for $87.63. The consumer contacted our company on 09/02/14 with a request for cancellation. The account was canceled immediately as instructed and they were sent a confirmation email confirming the cancellation. Based on the nature of the call, the customer service agent issued a partial refund of $21.90, which the consumer accepted, on that same day. The consumer would have received an e-mail confirmation of the cancellation and refund. The refund will take three to seven business days to credit back. 
 
We have refunded the remainder of the amount, $65.72 due to this complaint, however we stand by our policies and we would like to reiterate that our customers accept the terms and conditions two separate times to process their orders.
