I have ordered a few times from RockAuto, and have always gotten great service. The ordering is easy and fast

Good service and pricing. I have placed orders with RockAuto at least 25 times without a problem. Returns are easy and painless.

Review: I placed an order on 5/28/`15 for two brake rotors for $18.16 each plus shipping of $11.80 and the total was $48.12.

on 5/29/15 I received an email from the company.

""Hello,

We are contacting you to inform you that the RAYBESTOS Part # 980087R you ordered is unavailable from the original warehouse. We can still ship the part for you, but there would be an increase in the cost to ship it from another location.

Please go to the Order Status & Returns ( http://www.RockAuto.com/orderstatus ) link on the left-hand side of our website. You will want to find your order using the Email address OR Phone number that was on the order, and the order number: [redacted] . After you enter those into the top two boxes, please click "Find Order" . If you have an account with us, please find the order line on your Order History and click the order number to bring up the status page.

Once on the Order Status page you can process the payment for the additional shipping charge by clicking on the "Make Payment" button at the top of the page. You can also cancel the part from your order by changing the quantity on the part to "0" and then clicking "Submit Change Request".

Once payment is received for the additional shipping, we can continue processing the order and will email you as soon the order ships!"

I contacted them and was told the items I order is unavailable but if I pay them more money the items is available.

TDesired Settlement: Give me what I pay for and not to ask for more money.

We're sorry about this

inventory issue. When this customer placed his order, we thought we

could source the part he wanted from one location and charged him the

cost of shipping the part from that location. Unfortunately, the part

was out of stock but could be sourced from a new location. Since the

cost of shipping the part from the updated location was more than

what the customer had paid we could not fulfill the order the

customer had placed at the shipping price he paid. We offered to ship the part

from where it was available for an updated shipping price or cancel

the order. The customer chose to cancel the order and was never

charged. Since we canceled the order at the customer's request, if

the customer would still like this part he can place a new order

through the site.

I have done business with this company for years to maintain and repair my vehicles. I have only had a problem with one transaction, and once I called thier customer service, I recieved a refund immediately. I will continue to take my business here.

Rock Auto has the best deals on parts . But never buy engines from Rock Auto they are of poor quality.

I have ordered from Rockauto.com numerous times. Every time I have received exactly what I ordered, what was pictured and described, and in a timely fashion.

I have ordered door handles, wheel bearings, tune up parts, gaskets, etc. Not only do I save on parts, I can usually opt for the brand name parts and still beat the parts store after shipping. A+++

Always satisfied with price, quality and speedy delivery. This my go-to parts source as a home mechanic. Everything from small front end parts to a Honda transmission (which arrived practically before I ordered it).

Every product I have purchased from RockAuto has been first class. I have never have had a problem with any of the parts I have ordered. With older model cars, this is the place to purchase parts. Orders are received promptly and always packaged properly.

Review: I placed an order for a power steering pump and paid for next day delivery service. The package was supposed to be delivered on Friday, May 1st. The carrier failed to deliver the package. When I contacted Rock Auto for assistance, I was told all they could do was reimburse me for shipping and that I was "out of luck". I have not received any credit, and was basically treated like it was my problem. Will probably have to start buying my auto parts from Amazon as well...Desired Settlement: The refund promised.

sorry on behalf of FedEx that this shipment was late due to a

mechanical problem on the FedEx plane that was supposed to deliver

the order. FedEx express does not deliver on Saturdays, so we

unfortunately could not offer the solution the customer requested of

an overnight shipment with delivery the next day, a Saturday. Since

this was out of our control but the customer was negatively affected,

we have issued a refund for the difference in cost between the

service the customer paid for (Next Business Day Express) and the

service the customer received (2 Business Day Express), as he

requested.

Review: Made me pay for return to be shipped back more then the amount it was to [redacted] to me and they sent me the wrong part call to resolve this issue with costumer service set on hold for 25 mins to have a guy come on and be rude to me and tell me it was my fault that I did not look at the picture of the headlamp I got but there was no pictures and I looked it up for my vehicleDesired Settlement: Billing adjustment apology for being rude

customer ordered a TYC Part # 20556800 left

(driver's side) headlamp assembly as our part listing specifies, but

he reported that he needed the right (passenger's side) assembly. He

also reported the style he received did not match what was on his

vehicle, so we're not sure why he ordered this part when we show a

photo of the product in the part listing. As our Help

page explains, every part we sell may be returned within 30 days

for a refund of the part price but shipping charges are not

refundable unless the return is due to our mistake. Since we shipped

what the customer ordered, no shipping charges will be refunded. We

apologize for any rudeness this customer experienced.
