I had a problem with a brand new master cylinder I bought. They shipped me another one that was also bad. By the time I got around to calling back they said my 30 days was up. Since the first one was bad right out of the box shouldn't the warranty start from the second one I got? Since the second one was bad but in a different way shouldn't they want to refund my money? By the way I put a reman unit in from advance auto and all is well with the brakes!

I purchased a clutch kit, timing belt kit and waterpump from RockAuto for less than half the cost at my local chain store. The website makes it easy to find the right part. I received the name brands I wanted and everything was a perfect fit.

They've always had the right parts for my vehicles and they're cheaper. I'm not that happy with their return policy though because sometimes the shipping is more exspensive than the item you're retuning and you are responsible for that.

After using this online service loyally, a recent experience with returns will prevent any future transactions with the company. I ordered a seat motor for my 2010 Ford Edge, the only motor listed by the site as an appropriate fit for the make, model, and year of the vehicle. Upon removal of the seat, it was determined that the part was not the right fit. The problem comes with the return policy. The part was shipped to me in a plain brown cardboard box, packed inside a larger box. Using their websites return instructions, I returned the part for refund. The return was met with the response that since not all of the packaging was from the manufacturer no refund could be issued. I say again, that the part was delivered without the manufacturers original packaging. Just a plain brown box. I'm curious how many times they've sold this same seat motor and reneged on the return. Buyer beware....

Very professional company. Fantastic prices, prompt delivery, awesome customer interface. They kept me informed of the status of my order and exceeded my expectations by even enclosing an email link to purchase postage to return my core for refund.

My preferred "non-hot rod" "non-factory only" parts house. Rock Auto usually has a good selection of basic parts, excellent handling and shipping, and I've never needed to contact them for customer service.

I've ordered parts several times in the last few weeks and have been very happy with the service, prices ,speee of deivery and quality.

Review: I purchased six parts on 10/28/2015 I received them on 10/31/2015 when I opened the box and checked the parts two were damaged (strut assembly) I called I was told to fill out a return form and the new parts will be shipped in one day that was not the case I received an email the next day at 7pm stating that I needed to send pics of the damage and they will review and come to a conclusion.I called right away and spoke to Adam he suggested that I paint the parts or trie to get them fixed I couldn't believe this guy just told me that,I told him I wanted the parts to be replaced and to make sure they weren't damaged he told me that what if the parts were damaged from the manufacturer and the parts they send me have the same damage(red flag)but I didn't think nothing of it a friend recommended the company hes bought parts and never had problems.I send the pics right away on 11/03/2015 I received an email with return instructions I called and ask to speak to a supervisor I get a call on 11/04/2015 from [redacted] told her about the problem and asked her to make sure the replacement parts were non defective she said she would from one day it took till 11/06/2015 to receive my parts and to my surprise the parts looked worse than the other ones I send back obviously these people sale used and defective parts I was disappointed I called and spoke to [redacted] he told me to send pics again I told him that I don't have another week to resolve the same problem and they should upgrade my parts because these parts were used and damaged he hung up I called again and spoke to Adam he told me the same thing I send the pics right away I called him back to confirm he said it takes them 20 to 30 min to get an email nonsense so I told him that I would call back to make sure he got the pics he got very upset and told that if I keep calling that he rather not do business with me and will refund my money I told him I need my parts I don't want my money I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said that he was the manager that was I lie because I spoke to him the week before and he told me that he will tell his supervisor to call me and [redacted] called me and left a mesage saying I spoke to Adam and he told me you wanted to speak to a supervisor I still have the message.These Poeple are liars and skeamers I just want my parts beacuse I really need my susspension was taken apart to be fixed and have no bin able to be repared beacuse of this company.Desired Settlement: Replacement part that is not defective.

No one lied to Mr. [redacted]. We have 2 employees named Adam; one is a supervisor and one is not. Mr. [redacted] reported that his auto parts arrived scratched, with the paint chipped. We suggested they might still be usable, as these parts are meant to go under the car. Mr. [redacted] demanded replacements, so we issued him a prepaid label return label and paid the shipping to send a second set. Upon receiving the replacements, he reported the new parts were scratched as well. Since it seems that we cannot meet Mr. [redacted]’s expectations for scratch-free, under-car parts, we sent another set of return instructions and a prepaid shipping label to return the parts for a refund. He will receive a refund once the parts are returned.

Always great to work with

Order on Saturday get it cheep shipped have my parts on Friday night and ready to install on Saturday. Works for me. I work all week so weekend is my day to work on the trucks

I had ordered a Wix (top of the line) oil filter from Rock auto.com I have ordered from there previously and received a good filter this time the oil filter box was a little damaged and the filter was missing a plastic prong that holds the filter in place the piece was not in the box so I know it was broken before getting shipped. I was buying them from there because it was a little cheaper, I will not make that mistake ever again. Rock auto is cheaper because of one reason they have broken/used parts for sale.

My experience with Rock Auto is fine; they're first class.

I am very satisfied with Rockauto,they sell parts for my Buick that I can not find in my own country! The parts prices are small and make's it pleasant to order,the only negative point is that shipping prices are sometime's high.
And one more thing that I would like to say is that it would be better if the parts catalog Always should show a illustration of the parts because people like myself who do not speak as good tecnical englisch do not always know how a part is called in english and therefore do not order it because they are not sure it is the part they need.
Other than that, I am very happy with a parts store like Rockauto!
Thanks for selling the parts that keeps my classic Buick running!

Great service, quick shipping, good price. They had the parts when no one else did! They were aftermarket, so I expected them to be a little different. They were, but looked and worked great. Glad I bought then rather than using a generic, universal product.
