I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I do not dispute that Yext updated my information during the subscription period. What I am disputing is that businesses like mine are FORCED to pay fees to keep their information updated on the internet. The only alternative to not using the services of Yext is to contact every website on the internet that provides business listings, create an account, and then change my business listing manually. Yext knows this is not a viable alternative. If it was easily done, Yext would not be in business. As you see in the response from Yext, they are more than happy to give the information of the other listing websites because they know that business owners do not have the time to manually set up an account and change the listings on every website that has a faulty listing. I have tried this alternative for many websites and ironically, many of them refer back to Yext to update your listing. My biggest complaint is that even after I paid $500 to update my listing with Yext affiliates, many of the affiliates that had the correct information went back to old information. Case in point CityMaps.  CityMaps is a direct affiliate with Yext, they obviously get their info from Yext. Here is a quote from their site:"[redacted]"
 So according to Yexts' response, you would think that at LEAST the sites that use Yext for their data would have the updated information.. This is not the case... CityMaps did have the correct information during my subscription and now it has gone back to the wrong address. Contrary to what Yext wrote in their response, the full listing did not go back finding old information on a different site, It is getting the wrong information from Yext. Their story does not add up.  Here is the link to what my CityMaps listing looks like now. Keep in mind, this site gets their data from Yext.[redacted]
This proves that Yext is hiding behind technical speak to justify changing listing back to the wrong info.Someone needs to stand up to this company and put it on record that they are parasite that feeds on extortion of businesses.  I am including a screen shot of the incorrect listing on CityMaps.

Our Support Supervisor, Giulia, reached out directly to [redacted] and apologized for any conflicting information he may have received from the Support staff. Additionally, she provided clarification around how our...

partnership with [redacted] works and how the verification process works. [redacted] responded that he did submit his listing for verification and that there may have been a miscommunication with [redacted] and Yext. Giulia then spoke with him on the phone to further explain our partnership with Yahoo, and to let him know that she escalated the issue with Yahoo. She followed up with an email with contact information on how to reach out to [redacted] directly to ensure the listing is accurate. Additionally, Giulia provided information for other aggregators where publishers get their sources from, which may be causing the incorrect information to appear on his listing. [redacted] responded to say that the information on the data aggregator, InfoUSA, was helpful as that may have been where the bad data was coming from. He was able to make contact with them and update the phone number, which should then be pushed out in their next round of updates. If [redacted] would like to connect with our Support Team or Giulia again, he is more than welcome to contact [redacted] at any time. This is in reference to Complaint # (ID# [redacted]). [redacted] reached out to us via Facebook to let us know his Facebook page had been changed through Yext. This was an unfortunate incident that occurred through [redacted]' parent company, [redacted], who is a client of Yext's. Unfortunately,...

data which was provided from [redacted] to Yext included [redacted]' franchise location data. This should not have been included, but unfortunately was a part of an upload Yext then conducted to update location data for [redacted]'s other franchise locations for which it conducts marketing for. When we received [redacted]' message, we passed the message along to the account manager for [redacted], who reached out directly to [redacted]'s Head of Digital Marketing to ensure the Facebook page would be turned back over to [redacted]. The Head of Digital Marketing reached out to [redacted] personally to explain what happened and apologize. The Facebook page has since been updated and is back in [redacted]' hands. To Whom It May Concern,Our service is a paid service and is not the only solution for updating business listings.  While many sites will point a business to Yext because they trust our data, there are other ways to do it, which are often more manual.  It is important to remember that Yext has not provided the incorrect information about his business on the listings, we are just an optional solution to fix it.  I will again recommend that he reach out to the original provider of the bad data to resolve his issues.  While I do hear the business owner's opinion regarding our business model, I can firmly state that we do not have a monopoly and there is nothing else we can offer him in this situation outside of providing the paid service we offer.  If he'd like to check in for current promotional rates, we'd be happy to provide those.  We understand that this service does not fit the needs or wants for every business and we wish [redacted] the best of luck moving forward.  Regards,Supervisor of Client Support, Yext

Yext never sent me any correspondence regarding my partner account. This is a straight out lie on Yext's part and I'm guessing that they are just trying to cover their as. At no time did I ever receive and email from YEXT regarding renewing any of the locations that are in my partner account. If they did, we wouldn't be in this discussion. Yext also never sent me an email regarding renewing my partner account. If they did we would not be talking about this.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:Yext did not provide multiple options they simply told us we needed to pay the balance due when we disputed the agreement and what we were told by the sales representative. Our contract was not cancelled due to non payment it was cancelled because Crystal the president requested it to be. All payments were current at the time. Yext took away the ability for us to honor our commitment so it deemed is impossible to fulfill any obligation. Our company has recorded phone conversations with Yext to the contrary of what the responded. We simply did not receive any further access to their portal for the 7K bill they are holding us accountable for. Furthermore, the sales representative misrepresented their product and the agreement was signed under false pretenses of when the billing was due as well. Yext needs to make this right. We did not use 7K of their service or 24K and they were not honest in full when we signed the agreement. We are a small business and were taken advantage of..

In fact, unless we are working directly with a business, we do not have access to change any information for that business that lives online. In order to help [redacted] find the best solution for managing her business’ information online, a Yext representative left a voicemail for [redacted] on August **, 2017. The Yext representative also followed up with an email attempting to clarify miscommunication around how Yext works and to set up a time to talk. [redacted] responded to this email and said that she was not interested in interacting with Yext. [redacted] has been added to Yext’s Do Not Call List. On the initial sales call, [redacted] was informed of different billing options. However, he agreed to an annual contract with quarterly billing. [redacted] then emailed Yext Support asking to cancel his account. Unfortunately, Yext does not offer mid-term cancellations, so upon hearing that [redacted] was unsatisfied, the Account Manager offered to work with him to ensure that he was selling the product successfully. She offered [redacted] training opportunities to help him sell the product. She also offered to mark the account as not up for renewal in January 2018.We apologize for the confusion, and we would be happy to answer additional questions, if needed. I explained how Yext works, in that we have no control of her listings or ability to manage them without a paid subscription.  I outlined some possible sources for the incorrect information, and sent her contact information via email for these possible sources and all of the publishers in our network.
