[redacted] signed up for Roomster on 5:42:PM and upgraded his membership on 5:52:PM.We would never have charged his credit card without his permission and authorizationNot only did he have to sign off on the terms of use twice, It also states that his credit card would be renewed at the monthly rate of $unless he elect to cancel his subscriptionIt in standard size letters above the credit card authorization button so that it complies with LawHis statement that we don’t warn our customers about future renewals is falseWe sent out an email to " [redacted] " and another message in his onsite help desk at 5:52:PM.However, because we are a good company and in an effort to provide excellent customer service we issued a credit for the last charge of $before he even contacted the Revdex.comAlso we have issued previous transactionsPlease find attached screenshots of his actual credit card page.With the credit issued and our case proven, We consider this matter closed.Tell us why here

We just got your Revdex.com! you never canceled your subscription!!!! We sent you instructions on how to cancel....its one link! you took the time to write a Revdex.com complaint but couldn't click one link...and we a have a money back guarantee anyway!!! what is your problem?

Roomster texts me times in one day telling me to check out her profileI refused the service, so they flagged my craigslist addI had to repostI got them back by,forwarding all their texts to one another

She made an INITIAL transactionTo purchase a subscription you have to choose a package first (please, see the “Choose package” screenshot) and click on “Choose this package” button (please, see the “Choose this package” screenshot)Then on the Payment page to proceed further she had to click on “Buy with PayPal” button or fill out the Credit Card information(please, see the “Payment” screenshot)On all of the pages, you can see the price for the subscription that you choose Clearly, [redacted] is lying about not knowing that the price for the subscription she chose is $ We consider this matter is closed

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: It is very clear that numerous e-mails and text messages that I have received have the same fake link leading to Roomster under different names. Whether it's initiated by Roomster or it's affiliates, Roomster is ultimately stands to benefit from links to their site and are ultimately responsible. The ads seem to good to be true and another friend has experienced the same problem. The person sponsoring the (fake) ad wants to find out right away when you've logged in. There is no further contact by the person sponsoring the ad after you've logged in nor the same ad to be found in Roomster. I even had a brief phone text conversation with one of the individuals who acknowledged that it was a fake ad. It's so prevalent that it would be easy for an independent reviewer to investigate.Example. " [redacted] ." (Leads to Roomster website.)Secondly, I tried to call Roomster at a phone number listed in [redacted] , but there was no response. I tried to communicate via e-mail, but there is no e-mail address or customer service number listed on their site. The only way that I could see to contact Roomster was to logon via [redacted] , etc. After having this experience, I did not wish to login into their site with my personal information and become a member.Roomster seems to be trying to avoid responsibility for bogus ads leading to their website. This does not solve the problem and leads to a lack of responsibility by anyone for the problem. There are other roommate matching websites that do not seem to have this problem with bogus ads lead to [redacted] . [redacted] does not allow people even to use the term 'Roomster' in their ads. Ultimately, a business' reputation will lead to it's long term success and how it handles problems with the public.
