Good morning, It is in fine print and the title of trial offer I should extremely misleading Trial offer indicates that it's exactly that trial There shouldn't be any attachments and most certainly should be disclosed much better then under a fine print disclosure not visible under its original screen when seeing trial Of course if that's what they mean they informed the consumer by this legal technicalities they yes they did But like myself I m very sure there have been several Hundred people who have been completely surprise to find out that there could have been extra charges and just so we are clear I cancelled subscription on the *** It just happen to be at 10am and they are saying because I didn't cancel it by 5am of the same day they are justified in charging me a fee Pretty ridiculous to hold a guest of their site responsible for that when I did cancel it by required date So in my humble opinion I m deserving of a refund and I feel I would strongly encourage company roomster to disclose such fees and requirements better in the future.

This complaint is one that you get when you are dealing with a person who is so reactiveBefore we had received a letter from the Revdex.com a refund for all the transactions had already been completedto *** **'s *** accountThe statements that *** ** makes are reactive and untrue*** ** did
not contact us until 5/*/9:38:PM on our 24/staffed help deskWe responded at 5/*/10:52:AMBefore we could even respond *** ** had already charged us back via ***, where we accepted the charge backs and initiated a full refundWe assume within that same period *** ** had filed a complaint with the Revdex.comWhat *** ** fails to understand is that the Revdex.com's purpose is to assist with a resolution if there is none, but allow the merchant time to respond! A full refund has been issued and we consider this matter closed

To Whom It May Concern: We received a Revdex.com customer complaint letter from user *** ***She contacted us through the Helpdesk, she has never canceled her subscriptionAccount representative responded to her right away and sent her all the information about renewal and provided her information
that Her subscription was canceled by Roomster after her third and final renewal which is consistent with our subscription policyHad she canceled her subscription all billing would have ended*** *** authorized all charges(see screenshot)To provide a great customer service and as a courtesy to her we have issued a full refund on the last transaction even before we received letter from Revdex.com. We consider this matter is closed

I am sorry, but Roomster does the best we can to limit any abuses of our affiliates just as *** does which is a for profit companyWe work in conjunction with them and take action whenever we are alerted to this type of activityWe block all affiliates who break these rules, and we have clear warning not to do thisIt is a waste of the Revdex.com's time (which is a non for profit) to continue to deal with complaints that do not pertain to customer service and billing issues

We have researched this matter *** * *** did authorize the creation of a subscription on 2/**/5:30:PMHe was properly notified of this, both through the help desk and by emailAlthough *** * *** logged in times during the billing period, he never attempted to cancel

Roomster's response in unacceptableTheir fine-print is misleading.Once the postings are deleted from the account, Roomster's system (website) does not allow for access to any means or features to cancel the accountI'm not the only complaining about the way the conduct business and process chargesOne just needs to visit their Facebook profile and/or Google search for reviews to read about several complains, that perhaps are never reported to the Revdex.com.Simply put, I cannot cancel my account without selecting of options in their websiteThese options do not reflect my current statusIt is misleading of their part to not include CANCEL account as an added and fifth option.The can claim that this issue is closed on their sideIt is not on mine.I hope that the Revdex.com investigates further on Roomster's billing practicesThey are unfair and misleadingMany people sign up for the 'trial' period, to later become a victim of their misleading fine-printI called their number, but then this is only a recording message directing the client to the website to perpetuate this vicious cycleRoomster's billing practice must be stopped

Her statement that messages that she received in her Roomster mailbox was from spam users is not trueAlaina has been contacted by legitimate Roomster users, who has a full access and fill out their listings with description and photos of the property they are renting outWhen Alaina’s listing is empty, no “Description” to her listing, no “Lifestyle”, no Roommate preferences”, there are no information at all. She requested a pro-rated refund and she charged us back through the ***Even though we have a money back guarantee policy, she still charged us backAt this point, she was not eligible for a pro-refund and we had to dispute a chargeback

I really don't see how *** is the best security solutionI appreciate the credit of $in response to my complaint, but I was not even contesting the chargeMy problem is that for months I was searching for a room and the majority of what I had to wade through in my search was roomster scamsIf your site truly is so plagued by mysterious *** scammers, it may be time to shut down this domain and migrate to one that is NOT full of security holesLiterally I have not had a single shred of success with roomster, on or off siteAnd if you really are doing your best to improve security, and you aren't a total scam - why are there SO MANY phony proxy websites that redirect to your website? subletentry.com, roomcompletion.com etc etcWhat's more - both of the aforementioned sites link to your supposedly new and secure *** login pageand guess what, when I *** both of these site - EVERY SINGLE LINK is just a link to a scam checking website/blogNot a single one comes up as a legitimate, or a subsidy of roomster corpAnd what's more - roomster itselfYour whole Revdex.com page is just complaints about your business
My goal here is not to earn a dollar off your corporationI simply want to put on record an illegitimate business practice; so that other people don't have to waste so much of their valuable time on a site that will get them nothing but frustration
