To Whom It May Concern,
On several occasions *** *** has stated he sent a cancellation letter but is unsure of the address he had sent it toOn July 1st, *** *** was instructed by a customer service representative on where to send his cancellation
letter.
*** *** contract with Safe Home Security does not expire until August 11th, Although *** *** agreement states we require day notice in writing for cancellation, Safe Home Security will accept this "complaint" as a letter of cancellationAllowing *** *** account to cancel once the final payment for June and July are made in the amount of $($per mo)This will be allowing *** *** to cancel in August, rather than have his account renew for another year until August of This was done with the consideration that *** *** states he has sent a cancellation letter, but believes it was sent to the wrong address.
At the moment there are no refunds due to *** *** as he has not completed his contract with Safe Home SecurityAlthough he signed with another security company, that does not negate his responsibility for his current monitoring agreement with our company.

MsKayla P*** left *** *** a standard voice message when the cancellation letter was receivedDuring the processing of that letter, *** *** opted to use The Revdex.com as his platform for communicationThat is the reason he has received no phone calls back since that date, since all communications are being directed to this platform.
As stated in our previous response we have offered a more than fair resolutionIf *** *** chooses to accept our offer, I ask that he contacts myself directly.
We ask The Revdex.com to close this complaint as satisfactory and resolved as the customer has been offered a more than fair resolution to a problem that was caused by the consumer.

We are willing to close this complaint out but not without the Revdex.com knowing that parts of Safe Home Security's claims were blatantly false. They did have a written correspondence from us because one of the people I talked to said it was there. Then when I called I talked to somebody that called himself "Jerry" although I don't think that was his real name because he told me to email him a copy of the sale of our house in Idaho and the email address went to a Richard. I very quickly sent the copy of the sale of the house in Idaho, so that was not correct in their letter. They said they tried to contact us by phone and left messages on our machine. We did not even have that phone number anymore after we left Id. When I told them that the gentleman who sold us the security system didn't tell us anything about a written letter days before we wanted to cancel it nor did the person I called and they just said they were sorry about that. All of the security companies that I know of don't require anything like this. They unequivently NEVER mentioned a renewal after a certain period of time. I looked on line for complaints about this company and found 196. They all dealt with the company not refunding their money or continuing to charge them for another year. Some put a stop payment on the withdrawals and Safe Home sent them to collections, which gave them a bad credit rating. No wonder it is not accredited by the Revdex.com. Buyer beware!

*** *** signed the contract stating she was aware and agreed to the terms of the contract, which includes the automatic renewal clause in line of the contractAdditionally Safe Home Security has received no cancellation letter in regards to closing
this account.
If *** *** *** is going into an assisted living facility or the home is being sold, we ask she forward documentation of that to our Customer Care Department at ***
Proof of this paperwork being received will allow the account to enter into an early cancellation with no money due.
If documentation is not provided to the company, the account will remain open in accordance with the terms of the signed monitoring agreement.

To Whom It May Concern,
The customer is making claims that the Customer Service has been poor because the representatives informed him when his contract expired and *** *** was not pleased with the answerThat is what led him to make this complaint.
We have attached a copy of *** *** current monitoring agreement expiring July 25th, The customer's account is currently past due in the amount of $190.96.
If the customer is having an issue with his system, Safe Home Security would be more than willing to send a tech to the home to evaluate any problems once the past due balance has been brought currentWe have recently attempted to send a tech to the home but when our tech arrived *** *** demanded he remove the systemThe tech was unable to assist *** *** in anyway and left the home without being able to perform a system diagnostic because the customer did not allow him to do so.

Avoid at all costs We originally signed with them in at recommendation of our realtor Actually, we had good service and the system worked fine, though it was a five year term When the five years was up, they offered another year term to lock in the rate I was foolish enough to do this and not try to negotiate better terms Since then, we have had ongoing issues Recently we changed our phone service to cable provider This caused our alarm system to no longer work Safe Home sent a technician out to our house He was an independent contractor and didn't seem to know what he was doingHe was not there long He said the cable company failed to "energize" the board and this is why it was not working He said I needed to call them to come fix this I asked if he would do this as he could better explain it, and he told me it was against the lawHe would, however follow up with me in a week or so I called the cable company, and they came over and looked at everythingIt was fine and Safe Home would need to come back That was right before the holidays It slipped our mind and we finally called Safe Home back after holidaysMind you, the never did follow up as promised We explained that we have been out of service for months now (still paying) and if they cannot fix, we want to cancel Of course we cannot cancel without paying the fine We asked for a credit for the months without service Nope We asked to speak with manager She came to phone and the situation was discussedShe said it sounds like it is an issue with digital phone system and that if that is the case, we would need to pay to have it upgraded I replied that this would change our agreement and thus void the current contract She did not agree She did not want to lose us as a customer so finally agreed to talk with her manager to see if we can get credited for the months without service since we did contact them immediately As for service, she again suggested we call our Cable company to see if they can change it back to analog Mind you, she does not even know if this is the issue and did not offer to send out their tech So we called cable company and they came the next day and told us they could not change the system to analog We called the manager back, who was kind enough to give us her direct line We reached voicemail and left detailed message and provided home phone and cell #s to reach either my wife or I days later no call back Called again and left message Still no call back So, I am left with no service, paying for it I intend to pursue all avenues Meanwhile, my family is left unprotected It seems the company is not the same one who installed our system in They do not care if we have service or not, just that they collect money for something they are not providing

I hope people read this DO NOT use safe home security I got called today saying someone hit the medical emergency button on our alarm system I truly hope there wasn't a medical emergency I have been trying for over a week to cancel my service with them because I have sold my home All I get told when I call is that I have to fax or e-mail a cancelation request I did both I still have yet to be contacted to know how to pay my cancelation fee and have my system turned off for a home that I haven't even seen in over a week I have sent a fax, e-mail, and called times trying to get some help in canceling my policy asking for someone to call or e-mail me to know how much I need to pay and what needs to be done to cancel my system I truly hope that whoever lives there now is okay and didn't truly need medical assistance I doubt they sent anyone since I don't live there

I am rejecting this response because: No one is coming out August 6th, I work! No one has made an attempt to contact me in regards to itI waited for FOUR hours on August 1st
for NO ONE to show! Again....only resolution...Cancel my services and contract without penaltyI have no proof credit has been applied as charges were filed on my account on July 31stI have logged into my account and there is no refund for anythingI just received a bill in the mail YESTERDAY for my old address! I do not want to deal with this company anymore, your business actions are unacceptable and customer service is horribleNo one returns my calls, no one answers my questions and you assume I am available on Saturday to send someone outNO one called me to even see if its okAgainCANCEL MY CONTRACT WITH NO PENALTY.

The customer signed a year renewal in 2012. They stopped paying in 2014. We do have resolutions available such as paying a 90% buyout to term or payment arrangements for back balance. I wan't to clarify that the desired settlement is for us to cease contact and service and
send the customer to a 3rd party debt collector for the balance owed ? Please confirm that this is what you are requesting ?

They make you sign a contract, twisting their words and making it sound like you are getting a great deal by giving you months of free service but extending your contract much longerI have been paying since and my service ends nov28th Other companies offer same service for 29.99, they are theifs and deserve to be in court I did not shop around and that is my fault, but why is a company like this allowed to make customers overpay for this service to be in the business with huge contracts when families are struggling you cant break the contractThis is absurdDemanding CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT please
