My Rise Broadband experience is as followsI was in an area where there service was provided, I was a customer At one point about a year ago Rise without notice said they are decommissioning the towerSo we were dropped by them with little noticeRecently my neighbors said the Rise tower was back workingI called in and yes the Rise operator acknowledges my address was coveredSo we set up an appointment, I went to *** *** bought a new high dollar router, received a reminder call the day before my appointmentThis morning, I took off to wait at home, unboxed the new router and set it up waiting for Rise Rise just called and said now they cannot provide service to my addressWhat gives? My next door neighbor is on your tower? You dropped me when you decommissioned the towerIt really would have been nice to offer space on your tower you brought it back online to your customers you droppedHorrible Horrible customer service

They sold us internet service that does not workWe have called and tried chatting over times in a week periodThey wont even answer the phone, sat on hold for hours, they will not respond and make you sign a contract

I am writing about a very frustrating and unsavory business practice that is going on at Rise BroadbandI have been charged two reconnection fees on my account for service when I have never had disconnected serviceThe first time this occurred was 11/17/and the second time the reconnection fee was applied was 2/22/My internet service has been continuously connected and working the whole timeI have contacted Customer Service in regards to this and have been denied a refundI was told that my service was in fact disconnected because of non paymentI was late on my payment but never to the point of disconnection I said I received an email from them that told me how much I owed and at what date it would be disconnected and that I paid several days before that date was and again that I had never had any service disruption or disconnectionThe manager had no response to my questions and only proceeded to tell me that maybe we wouldn't be in this discussion if I just paid my bil

Risebroadband has had issues with a broadband wireless tower located in Eureka, Texas and the service is constantly intermittent They have offered me a $service credit for months but this issue has been going on for since August of I pay over $a month and the service in not usable They say they are working on it but it all lip service

They are horrible!!! I moved into a new home and kept my service with them What they failed to tell me was that they cancelled my account at my old home so they could charge me extra moneysaying they needed to prorate the days in between the cancellation and setupmind you I wasn't without service for daysI was without service for hours!! I originally had my internet service provided by Texas Communications around Since then the company had been sold multiple times Currently the company is owned by Rise broadband I recently purchased a house somewhere else and needed to terminate my service Upon calling them they stated that I need to pay a $termination fee I explained to them that I have been a customer since and was not under a contract They then stated that in September I placed a call to change my services and that AUTOMATICALLY enrolled me in a new contract and the information is printed on the bottom of my bill I explained to the person who I was talking with that the only reason I called was they were over charging me on my bill and had me accounted for as a business account I had been and still am a residential customer They then stated that due to me bringing this to their attention and them changing me from a business customer to a residential customer (their fault t
