[redacted] is under the impression that these covers were custom fit All boat covers we sell are semi custom fits - nowhere do we advertise that these covers are custom fitIt would also be impossible to sell a custom fit cover for $200, that unfortunately just doesn't exist.We offered [redacted] a free exchange for a different size but he refused and insisted on a refundOur policy states that all returns for refunds are charged a 20% restocking feeThe fee helps restock, repackage and also helps for shipping as wellUnfortunately this fee is not something that can be voided

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I asked if the cover would be here before I left on the [redacted] of June n was told it would be by Sealskins sales person The cover was absolutely too huge to be for my car I have a small Civic Honda and was sent a XL cover big enough for a truck Now I know it wasn't going to be custom fit but if they can't send a cover that half way fits my car they shouldn't be in business They made a mistake they don't want to admit to I wasn't about to trust them to send another cover especially after I told their salesperson the year n make of my car I also was told on the phone they would extend the time to return the cover given I was gone for the summer and had to have someone else return it and then sent an email refusing to let me have the extended time I hope other people take the time to look up the reviews on the Revdex.com site concerning this company If I would have done that I surely would not have ordered anything from these people To me they lied and,AGAIN, I honestly believe they don't know what they are doing and should not be in business In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

[redacted] purchased a semi custom cover from our store and... decided he wanted to return the cover for a refund. He claims the cover is not what he expected and was too wide on the width. Our covers are Semi custom; the best fit at the best possible price but they’re not perfect. Semi custom covers sometimes may run a bit too big or too small. We do not advertise or sell custom fit covers. We have a simple policy which is clearly stated on the website as well as on the sales receipt that says we will help return the cover and even pay for the shipping for a refund but a 20% restocking is applied to help clean up, repackage and re stock the item. Most of our competitors even charge for shipping.

[redacted] is now claiming it was a Christmas gift after our initial response to his first complaintWe reviewed the account and there were no notes stating it was a gift or that he would have needed an extension on the return policy as we do offer when requested, an exception for holidays The cover was ordered on December [redacted] and has been held for months now after deciding he would like to return Under our policy it clearly states that past days all sales are finalWe give customers days to return the cover or exchange it at no cost to themThere was nothing more we could do to help [redacted] ***

[redacted] purchased our layer car cover on July **, He claims our cover has left debris on his car According to the pictures [redacted] sent we saw dust particles on the car that can be whipped offWe take hundreds of orders and never see this happen.The cover he purchased is designed for indoor and outdoor use and should last a few years depending on how it's used and weather conditionsThese covers are meant to protect the car and are impossible to damage the car in any way Our covers come with a year warranty and can be replaced once at no cost to the customer other than a one time flat shipping fee for $We spoke to [redacted] and let him know he can replace his cover but he refusedHe has held on and used this product for a year and a few months and is now requesting a refund which completely goes against our policy

[redacted] purchased our cover on May [redacted] He contacted us a little over a year later on May [redacted] He is claiming that our cover engraved scratches in his motorcycle the last months We responded to [redacted] , letting him know that our covers are made of 100% polyester with soft fleeces inside and would be impossible for it to cause any scratches or damage on his bike or any type of vehicleThe only thing we can think of is if the cover was dropped on the floor or if the bike was really dirty when the cover was installed and/or collected sand and dirt particles but even that is hard to see happenWe have over thousand happy customers a year and work hard for their business."

We understand it can be frustrating and that is why we are helping the original owner’s customers by replacing warranty items at direct costWe are not profiting from these transactionsWe are really doing the best we can do[redacted] purchased our cover On december **, and is well past her days As a courtesy, we will disregard the policy and allow her to return the cover as long as she can send it back in the next business days There is a 20% restocking fee for all returns , we will void that fee also as a coursey A label has been sent to [redacted]

[redacted] purchased our semi custom fit cover on October **, for his Bayliner Element Deck boat Without Extended Swim Platform He contacted us on November [redacted] , stating he received a defect cover and the incorrect sizeWe offered [redacted] a full refund and also voided his restocking feeWe are also sending [redacted] a pre- paid return label in order for him to send his cover back to us As soon as we receive his cover we are going to issue him a full refund

[redacted] claims he was sending out emails but were not being answered. Sometimes emails do not go through to the correct department when sending emails through a third party. Customers would have to actually log into their account in order for the customer service department to receive the... email. We give our customers the option to call as well, in case email communication isn't successful . [redacted] claims the cover was flapping in the wind which could be possibly an incorrect installation , for the reason that these covers have the straps that tie the cover down and should not let something like that happen. It could also be where the cover ran too big and smaller size would have gave it a better fit. We give our customers 30 days to try on the cover and if there is anything wrong, our customers have the option to exchange for a different size or to return, however, [redacted] insisted on a refund. Our policy states that all returns for refunds are charged a 20% restocking fee. The fee helps restock, repackage and also helps for shipping as well. Unfortunately this fee is not something that can be voided. We really do our best to attend to our customers as quickly and efficiently as we can. In addition , [redacted] is under the impression that these covers were custom fit. All snowmobile covers we sell are semi custom fits - nowhere do we advertise that these covers are custom fit. Semi custom covers are the best fit at the best possible price but they’re not perfect. Semi custom covers are generally inches too short or too long but are an awesome option for someone looking for a good cover at a great price. These covers are waterproof and backed by full warranties. Fully custom covers is when someone comes out to measure your boat or vehicle. Those covers can take up to 8 weeks to make and are double the price.

Big enough for a full size truck not a Civic Honda I have been through a lot with these people and I know now why the reviews for their company are bad I should have went to the Revdex.com before ordering this cover I guarantee you I would not have dealt with them and I would not have lost a good portion of my money in the process Anyone reading this complaint, please do not do business with this company.

The company Buy Autos covers.com is under new ownership and management since November **, Unfortunately, any customers who have purchased from the original owners anytime before November ***, 2016, orders are final We are not able to process warranties for
customers who did not purchase through usHowever , as a courtesy, we have been offering customers from the original owners covers at direct manufacture cost We are doing the best that we can do to help

order , however, according to his order, we never received a call or an email from *** *** to let us know he still has not received his order This is the first contact we have received from *** ***.We can re-ship *** *** order and make sure he receives his cover as soon as possible or we can credit his account in full All *** *** has to do is give us a call and we would be more than happy to help
