 In response to Sealskin Covers claims that I did not contact them and that [redacted] sent the refund back to them I would scream B.S. 
I tried [redacted] to get my refund but they could not track the package with the tracking number I gave them, don't know why, I could. They refused because of this. Sealskin sent the refund after a month of my efforts to get it back. Your involvement likely helped as after just one word from you and a further action phone call on the same day proved too much for these crooks. [redacted] would dispute the claims made by Sealskin covers if they could legally do so. Thank you very much, I'm positive your involvement helped speed up this long , long process. Please spread the word about the criminal intent that these people are using as company policy concerning customer service. I wish they were put out of business, customers don't deserve to be treated this way, it is as unprofessional as I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

Our policy states that past 30 days all sales are final. We are sorry to hear that  [redacted] is still upset. We really did our best to help. We offered a free replacement, he refused and insisted on a refund. After holding on to our cover almost a year now,  we are unable to provide a refund as much as we would like to.

I did initially tell the gentleman on the phone that it was bought for me as a gift for Christmas by my girlfriend. Investigate who bought it, where it was sent, not to my house; because it was a gift  I've never changed my story. You people are dishonest and sell products that don't  fit properly.  Funny thing is, my son bought a 79 cutlass and wants a good quality cover and guess what, he is not purchasing one from you because the way you are handling this situation and he wants one that actually fits. Calling me a liar is the last thing you want to do.

The customer placed an order and received the wrong color which we felt terrible about. We offered to exchange it free of charge but the customer refused to follow instructions. We understand the frustration and we work hard for ever single customer but its important to follow the systems in place...

that allow us to help all of our customers. SealSkinCovers has been in business for over 10 years, helping thousands of customers along the way. The customer refused to follow simple instructions which made our job so much harder. Of course once the customer requested a refund the customer was issued a full refund. The full refund was issued on Jul **, 2017 10:34:56 AM.

 This is not a proper resolution.  I have enclosed a screen shot of my email where they confirmed my complaint multiple times.  I appreciate they have finally shipped what I ordered, but the fact they said I never contacted them is a lie.  I can also forward all the emails if needed. Due to the way I was treated, I request a refund or discount of my order.

[redacted] is under the impression that these covers were custom fit.  All boat covers we sell are semi custom fits - nowhere do we advertise that these covers are custom fit. It would also be impossible to sell a custom fit cover for $200, that unfortunately just doesn't exist.We offered [redacted] a free exchange for a different size but he refused and insisted on a refund. Our policy states that all returns for refunds are charged a 20% restocking fee. The fee helps restock, repackage and also helps for shipping as well. Unfortunately this fee is not something that can be voided.

This cover is LESS than a year old.  The problems with the material deteriorating and tearing began over a month ago, a total of 8 months from date of purchase.  They may have thousands of satisfied customers  but they also have numerous complaints especially over the durability of their material.  That is why they have an "F" rating with the Revdex.com.  I am not the only customer to complain about this.  They company's resolution is unsatisfactory under their warranty disclaimer and protocol.  The company wants to offer me a (1) time courtesy replacement for my "deteriorated" cover for a new cover.  I have no faith on the material and workmanship that a "new" cover will last the duration and remainder of the 9+ years left under the warranty.  My only resolution to this company is a full refund.  IF the company wants the "old" cover for Research and Development to determine why their material only lasted 8 months, then they will send me a pre-paid shipping label for the "old" cover.  I purchased this cover will a full understanding that the initial purchase is covered by a 10 year warranty.  The company mislead myself and other customers over the warranty and their terminology "(1) time courtesy replacement". Seal Skin also does not publish or advertise of a pro-rated warranty IF the second, third or however many covers deteriorates during the warranty duration.  I have no further recourse with the replacement "courtesy" cover when it fails, tears or deteriorates, which goes against a 10 warranty.  
 Please escalate this complaint to the next level as I see the company is not understanding and receptive to the customer's criticism against them.

[redacted] purchased our cover on May [redacted]  2015.  He contacted us a little over a year later on May [redacted] 2016. He is claiming that our cover engraved scratches in his motorcycle the last 5 months.  We responded to [redacted], letting him know that our covers are made of...

100% polyester with soft fleeces inside and would be impossible for it to cause any scratches or damage on his bike or any type of vehicle. The only thing we can think of is if the cover was dropped on the floor or if the bike was really dirty when the cover was installed and/or collected sand and dirt particles but even that is hard to see happen. We have over 40 thousand happy customers a year and work hard for their business."

 The car cover was a gift for Christmas, so it sat for 21 days not even knowing what it was. Once opened there was nothing about a 30 day return policy. The instructions did say not to put in on wet vehicle. We had record rainfall, so there was no way to make this happen. The bottom line is that if they made this car cover correct to where it fit properly, we wouldn't be doing this. I just want a cover that fits correctly. A good company would back up their product, period.

[redacted] purchased our 5 layer all weather supreme outdoor cover on June [redacted],  2016 and selected our free standard shipping . Orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours . The time frame for free standard shipping takes about 4- 7 business days. [redacted]...

 [redacted]  received her cover June [redacted]. In addition, [redacted] claims the cover is not what she expected and was too big. Our covers are Semi custom;  the best fit at the best possible price but they’re not perfect. Semi custom covers sometimes may run too big or to small . We offered a free exchange to [redacted] but she insisted on a refund.Our policy states, a 20% restocking fee applies to help clean up, re package, and restock the item for all refunds. The policy is clearly stated on her sales receipt and on the website.

Being in the internet age, customers can be the some of the best sales people you can have.  Treating them fairly, respectfully and make it easy on them should be a goal of any business.  Great examples of this are [redacted], and numerous small businesses.  I am not satisfied with the product sold to me.  I want to return for a full refund.  I do not believe the product I purchased was fairly represented on your website either by pictures or descriptions.  I was lead to believe they would have a cover in stock that would reasonably fit my boat.  From what I have been told they do not.

 I asked if the cover would be here before I left on the [redacted] of June n was told it would be by Sealskins sales person.  The cover was absolutely too huge to be for my car.  I have a small Civic Honda and was sent a XL cover big enough for a truck.  Now I know it wasn't going to be custom fit but if they can't send a cover that half way fits my car they shouldn't be in business.  They made a mistake they don't want to admit to.  I wasn't about to trust them to send another cover especially after I told their salesperson the year n make of my car.  I also was told on the phone they would extend the time to return the cover given I was gone for the summer and had to have someone else return it and then sent an email refusing to let me have the extended time.  I hope other people take the time to look up the reviews on the Revdex.com site concerning this company.  If I would have done that I surely would not have ordered anything from these people.  To me they lied and,AGAIN, I honestly believe they don't know what they are doing and should not be in business.

[redacted]  is claiming the cover should last more than 3 months yet he is contacting us over a year later. [redacted]  is also complaining about a new problem that was never mentioned before . These covers are designed to protect the car and are impossible to damage the car in any way and according to the pictures that were sent , there was no damage to the car. [redacted]  has an option to replace his cover at no cost to him . As a courtesy,  we can also void the shipping fee for [redacted] but unfortunately we are unable to provide a refund for an order that was placed over a year ago.

I contacted customer service twice with no response.  I need the new one before I send the old one, as I'll be without a boat cover.  As soon as I get the correct cover, then I'll ship the wrong one back using the label they supplied.  Or they refund me for the wrong cover, and I'll keep it.

 It is great that they are giving me details on there crap covers  they say im the only one with this problem.well im going to post some links to proove them wrong. they do not have a 5 star review. Nor are there covers "great" or realiable.

there is just some of the 300+ 1 star reviews about them keeping money , refusing to refund , and horrible quality of boat covers.
they just said "car covers are suppose to protect the car" yet once again. IT DID NOT PROTECT MY CAR AT ALL. And recently just found out after looking in my car. There was a huge puddle of water in my trunk due to there cover trapping moisture between my car and there rubbish car cover. I can assure my car does not leak water at all. There car cover damaged my car and put a huge puddle of water in it that I had to clean out. They false advertise, do not care about there customers. I plan to take legal action now. Seeing im not the only one with these problems. 30 days or not. A car cover should last alot longer then 3 months. And not damage a car!

[redacted] placed his order on May *, 2017 and according to our end, [redacted]  [redacted] never submitted a customer service return or exchange ticket. We do not have a standing store so returns and exchanges are taken care of online. It is a simple form that takes about a minute or two...

to complete. Customer inquires are  responded to no later than 24 - 48 business hours with a solution and a return label .  We do apologize for sending out the wrong color out and have already created a exchange ticket  for [redacted]  [redacted]  to have his cover exchanged to the navy blue color. We have also emailed [redacted] a return label to have the cover sent back to our warehouse. As soon as [redacted] cover is scanned by UPS we'll make sure to ship out the correct item.
