[redacted] insists he has contacted us regarding his order , however, according to his order,  there is not a note or call noted that he had contacted us. As soon as we received his complaint , we made sure his order was delivered as quickly as possible  . [redacted]’ s order has been delivered successfully and again we apologize for the shipping delay and  for not receiving his emails. We hope [redacted] likes our product and comes back to purchase again. Unfortunately,  we are unable to provide any discount for his previous order but we can offer him a 10% coupon for any order he places in the future. Here is a coupon code [redacted].

I only had the cover for 2 months of use and it's discolored as if it been used for 20 years and it's ripe already. The customer service was 10 times worse then the product. A women by the name Susie who claims she was the manager (and wouldn't give me her upper management name or contact information) right off the bat told me your not getting your money back I guarantee you 150% that it will not happen. Not once did she ask what was wrong or try to symptomizes & get detail to better her company since I only had the cover for such a short period of time. Even for there own knowledge on how to make the product better for the future. I know if I was the owner I would want to know what people are complaining about, seems they get a lot of complaints based off what she told me on the phone.
As a manager I would of asked the customer for pictures and taken there concerns before stating a statement like that. She was rude and unprofessional.
So basically--I want my full refund as this product doesn't live up to what they claim its suppose to. I wish I would of researched them first as so many people have bad reviews

If the cover was installed incorrectly /is trailered with and it rips due to the incorrect installation, some pressure points should be padded to prevent tear or it simply could be a defect cover . So what we like to give to our customers is a piece of mind and offer a free replacement,   if something does happen past their 30 days .   The 10 year warranty does not mean we will replace the cover for the next 10 years consistently . Our policy states we can replace the item once only within the 10 years so it can be 1 year later or it can be 8 years later . The 10 year warranty does not mean these covers are suppose to last for 10 years . We are sorry to hear  that [redacted] is upset and we wish we can help , however because [redacted] has already used up his free replacement , his account is not eligible for a second one. Our covers are semi custom covers and are the best fit and quality at the best possible price. Unfortunately this fee is not something that can be voided.

The company [redacted] is under new ownership and management since November **, 2016. Unfortunately,  any customers who have purchased  from the original owners anytime before November [redacted], 2016,  orders are  final.  Unfortunately we are not able to process...

I have attached images captured from the companies website.  No where on the website does the company say semi custom it does however very specifically say that the cover will fit my 2016 Harley Davidson Street Glide.  The cover was more than 2 feet in length short of fitting my motorcycle.  Also the cover that I received was NOT a 5 layer cover as described on the website.  It was a raincoat material with a cheap felt lining.  This cover was in no way a breathable cover.  If I had a received the cover advertised and changed my mind about my purchase I would gladly accept the restocking fee, however the complete misrepresentation of the product leads me to believe that this is done intentionally.  The company representatives have refused to cooperate and have told me that they feel that even though the cover they advertised is not what I received that I still must pay a restocking fee.  I have returned the cover the carry pouch a security cable and lock, as well as the bag the cover was shipped in, as instructed and I have the tracking number.  It was sent via UPS and the tracking number is [redacted] .  Since the company has completely mislead anyone who visits their website and advertised one product and ships something different I believe this constitutes false advertisement.  I have purchased a "semi-custom" fit cover from a local parts store and it fits my motorcycle with plenty of room to spare.  Even a semi custom cover designed to fit a large touring motorcycle like mine will fit my bike.  The cover sold by sealskins will not even fit the smaller motorcycle my friend owns.  The fact that the company has so bodly lied to me and presented one product on their website and shipped something completely different is why I do not wish an exchange, I do not trust them.  I think I am being more than reasonable to ask for a full refund of the purchase price since the company did NOT ship me the product they advertised.

her out a new replacement cover on January ** 2015. All charges including shipping wereaccommodated for customer. Our policy states that our covers come with a full one time replacementwarranty at no cost to the customer.After using her one time replacement, [redacted] asked for a second warranty replacement soon after. Weweren't sure whether the cover was being installed correctly or what the issue was but [redacted] was underthe impression she could keep replacing her cover at no cost to her forever. We tried to help by offering hera huge discount on a new cover purchase but she refused. There was not much more we could do to help.[redacted]Compliant # [redacted]

[redacted] purchased our semi custom fit cover on October **, 2016 for his  2014 Bayliner Element Deck boat Without Extended Swim Platform.  He contacted us on November * , 2016 stating he received a defect cover and the incorrect size. We offered [redacted] a full refund and also...

voided his restocking fee. We are also sending  [redacted] a pre- paid return label in order for him to send his cover back to us . As soon as we receive his cover we are going to issue him a full refund.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.One caveat, the shipping tracking number should not be issued until the product is actually packaged and ready to go. Seal Skin Covers has a poor track record, pardon the pun, because they issue tracking numbers when the product is not ready to ship.

Let me clarify my complaints against Seal Skin Covers:1) Why should the customer pay for Seal Skin Covers mistakes. If you decide to return a cover for a refund, Seal Skin Covers will charge you a 20% restocking fee even if it does not fit or is defective!!!! What reputable company charges you a 20% restocking fee for a product that they GUARANTEE WILL FIT!... but obviously does not...just look at the attached picture of it...and it's defective!!!2)Seal Skin Covers sell poor quality, standard size covers NOT semi-custom...just look at the attached pictures and you can see for yourself how loose they fit and how the straps wear and the seam stitching frays after 10 miles of trailering!!3) Deceptive company. If you look at their website "[redacted]" you will notice they list two menus for returns/exchanges. The first one does not go into as much detail on the return process as does the second menu...they are being deceptive by hoping you don't read the second menu.4) Seal Skin Covers is not a respectable business. If you check the Revdex.com for their competitors, like Empire Covers, National Boat Covers or Commercial Sewing Inc (Outer Armor) you will find they are "A" rated. However, Seal Skin Covers receives only a "D" rating!!!  It's easy for Seal Skin Covers to say they have 1000's of satisfied customers but look at the complaints against them...fact is they have a very poor reputation!!

I bought 2 covers for Yamaha svho and svho cruiser wave-runners. I do not believe they were custom fit for these machines, you can not even fuel with the cover on. 1 was smaller than the other one even tho they were the same part number, when we left on vacation the small one would not stay on and came off after we were 5 miles down the road (never got above 40mph). The other one ripped out the whole back seam after about 3 hours of travel. Customer service was rude and not helpful and would not refund our money. After calling for customer service 5 times each time I was put on hold and then disconnected. Wish I found this site before I bought them.

We understand it can be frustrating and that is why we are helping the original owner's customers by replacing warranty items at direct cost. We are not profiting from  these transactions. We are really doing the best we can do.

waterproof and backed up by a 10 year warranty. In addition, it seems like  [redacted] is under the impression that these covers were custom fit.  All motorcycle covers we sell are semi custom fits - nowhere do we advertise that these covers are custom fit. It would also be impossible to sell a custom fit cover for $100, that unfortunately just doesn't exist.We offered Mr.Simpkins a free exchange for a different size but he refused and insists on a refund. We will gladly assist Mr.Simpkins with his refund and send him a pre-paid return label for him to send the cover back. Our policy states that all returns for refunds are charged a 20% restocking fee. The fee helps restock, repackage and also helps for shipping as well. Unfortunately this fee is not something that can be voided.

 The car cover was a gift for Christmas, so it sat for 21 days not even knowing what it was. Once opened there was nothing about a 30 day return policy. The instructions did say not to put in on wet vehicle. We had record rainfall, so there was no way to make this happen. The bottom line is that if they made this car cover correct to where it fit properly, we wouldn't be doing this. I just want a cover that fits correctly. A good company would back up their product, period.
