I spoke to Duane about getting my loan documents prepared and filed to get a lower monthly payment. He was very thorough and walked me thru the process. Great full to have an affordable payment now.

S.E.C Response • Jul 02, 2018

Glad we could help you reach your goals.

At first my original monthly payment was way to high for me, but when I spoke with William he made it clear how the program works and was straight forward assisting me into getting my payments lowered down. My new monthly payments are now affordable and I would recommend him to anyone in need of help.

That's great to hear you met the criteria to get our help!

Thank you for your review .We are glad to know that you like our services.

My student loans were very frustrating to handle and deal with. When I spoke with Adam he assisted me with consolidating all my loans into an income driven repayment program and helped me save as much money as I could since my payments were just too high. He gave me updates throughout the process and kept in communication with me of what was needed for the loan consolidation.

Glad you had a great experience dealing with our company!

Student Education Center did an awesome job preparing my documents!

Thanks for your review, Rachel.

Just be like I spoke with one of the reps at student education center. Every call I had taken about student loans just left me confused and skeptical. SEC, however was clear and succinct in letting me know what my options were, and more so, how those options benefited me. Within 30 mins we had gotten every thing set up and I had documentation from them guaranteeing their work. What more could u ask for? Worth every penny!!

I was contacted by three different student loan companies, but Aaron at the Student Education center was the only one who didn’t try to rush me through the process. He took the time to explain everything to me and answer all of my questions. I had no surprises after I signed up and I’ve saved money each month. They always send me email updates before the payment is due, and when I have to call, I can talk to the same person each time. Overall it’s been a great company to work with.

I was contacted on my cell phone during my workday by a guy who called himself Steven *** claiming he could offer loan forgiveness on my outstanding student loans. He said this would require an auto-debit from my checking account in the amount of $171/month x 4 months. At the end of the four months, I would begin to pay $68/month for 10 years and my loans would be totally paid in full. At one point, I explained I was working and could not talk and we arranged for another contact around 12 noon. When I didn't call back at that time, he sent a text message that he had set aside that time to "help" me and was obviously annoyed that I hadn't yet called. When we did speak, I foolishly agreed to his request and as of May 1, 2018 my payments have been made. I have had no further contact from these people and during the 2 attempts I've made to call, I've had an aloof response saying I'd be getting an email with the actual amount I owe monthly. I feel I've been scammed. I'm 64 years old and tried to tell "Jason" that I hope to no longer be working in 10 years but was ignored. The girl's answering the phone said the monthly amount to be repaid had not been determined yet.

I had so much trouble with my servicer navient . They kept crushing my interest, I was glad when I had the opportunity to speak with my loan advisor with student education center to help navigate these student loans and get me enrolled into a program, they stand behind their services they offer and I highly recommend you work with a loan advisor from student education center to atleast get more information on these programs.

I got my loans consolidated this past month and My Account Manager Shaw *** provided me with exceptional service. He was patient, witty and sensitive. I was not going to take the time to write about my experience. However, I felt God had put this on my heart to share. I wanted to say that I think your company Student Education Center needs to recognize what a wonderful person Shaw is. Honestly at first I did not want to talk to anyone about my student loan situation and for years I simply did not. There was just something about Mr. that deep down I felt he wanted to help me or at least give me good advice. During our initial call he was able to place me a temporary hardship with my lender and prequalified me as a perfect Candidate for a IDR- income driven program. I feel like he cares about me and my current financial situation. I am not a spiritual person. But, I feel that God put him on the other side of the phone for a reason. I have major trust issues and immediately in the beginning of the call he addressed all my concerns and was able to get me to open up to him about my current situation. I'm recently divorced. I do not have any kids and I have a great career in Real Estate. I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Student Education Center in Newport Beach. Hey ***.. Not sure you you read this. But, if you ever need a place to work or call home, you can always come work for me. Take Care.

After receiving many identical robo-calls from multiple numbers asking for me to refinance student loans (which I have never had nor have I ever co-signed for anyone), I attempted to speak to a live person to end the bothersome calls. Every time I would ask them to not call me as I am the do not call list, they would laugh and just hang up, repeatedly ask me if I was sure I do not have student loans, or become belligerent and then hang up on me. After having enough of these harassing calls I played along and provided them false information in order to gain their trust to get them to tell me who they were. Once I told Bill *** that I was lying and I was reporting this to the Attorney General because they have been harassing me he tried to tell me his company does not make the calls so it was not their fault. I simply told him that they hired the company to make the call so the buck stops with them and hung-up.

Our organization never called this client. If he had a bad experience with a marketing company I can understand his frustration. Our employees spoke to him at length on the 5 separate occasions HE CALLED our office. We had an employee take the time to do a thorough search to ensure there was no calls made to this client. We will however make sure that no calls are allowed to be even transferred coming from this client so that guarantees he can never be transferred or called from our office. We ask that this complaint and matter be considered inaccurate and not posted since we never called this client, there was no monetary loss nor any claimed. Thank you.

Our organization under stands ***'s frustration in regards to receiving unwanted calls from marketers. Per our company policy we do not accept calls from anybody who did not wish to be transferred to our organization. That is why *** had to play along as an interested and willing provider of information when he spoke to these marketing companies to be transferred. We understand ***'s concerns and have done everything to ensure he does not get transferred or called by anybody associated with our organization. As he stated he hasn't been transferred to our company since and will not ever be transferred to our company per the phone call he gave us. We have diligently made sure of this. He was never a client, no monies were ever exchanged nor any monetary loss claimed. This is the only reason why we asked this matter be closed and not included as a complaint of an unsatisfied CLIENT of our organization as *** never was. We wish *** all the best and advise him to seek whatever action he needs to against these marketing companies who are contacting him as we certainly agree his valuable time should not be wasted by unwanted calls.

I reject this response because the company wishes for the complaint to be stricken from the record.

The fact remains that this company is responsible for hiring a marketing company that continuously violated the law therefore, this company is ultimately responsible. Had the company done their due diligence and hired a reputable marketing company and/or ensured that the marketing company they hired followed the law we would not be here.

While I have not received any additional calls by the annoying, ignorant, and inconsiderate marketing company hired by these people, the complaint must remain on their record with the Revdex.com as a warning and for information to other consumers that this company has little regard for ethical solid business practices, consideration of others, and for the rule of law.

The matter is resolved but I respectfully request that this complaint remain on record with the Revdex.com.

I cannot stand my student loans and unfortunately have been paying them for over 15 years , when I was referred over to these guys, they unfolded information that was never exposed to me which is bt because I couldn't understand why Navient never would be courteous enough to take care of a long time customer, now I know why they have multiple lawsuits. Anyhow I consolidated and now im with the Department of Education directly serviced by fed loans, my payment is manageable and I can afford my freakn bills now! Thanks Steven
