I dealt with my studentloans for the last 8 years and never knew about these income driven repayment programs ever existed since I spoke with Oscar at Student Education Center and I was suprised to hear that I qualify for a program since I am a school teacher. I let him know that because of these high payments I am making to great lakes im barely getting by and we ran some numbers and advised me that I qualify for a much lower payment and helped me with the consolidation of my loans. Thanks Oscar, god bless.

Student Education Center Response • Nov 27, 2018

An employee left that was handing my student loans at this company and they did not file my paper work when my student loans were transferred to FedLoan services . Now Fed loan services has me 119 days late on payments but I never received information thst my loans had been transferred until November 20th 2018. This has cause my credit score to drop drastically for something that was not my fault . Student Education center made no effort to contact me and Fed loans only sent emails to my account with them that I had no access and didn't know existed until Nov 10 . Neither company is willing to take care of this issue and blame me for this I am now left with a credit score that will follow me for 7 years due to an issue not caused by me

This company contacted me stating they work with PSLF and wanted to help me adjust my student loan payment based on income. After doing my research I realized they were not with PSLF and the payment I made over the phone was not applied to my account and alll of my login information was changed without my permission. I have made numerous attempts to contact this company requesting a refund and I have not received any call backs to resolve this issue. When calling the company directly they just send me to the same voicemail over and over again. I would like a call back from oscar and resolve this matter ASAP.

To whom this may concern, we apologize for the delay in responding and assure you that this matter has been taken care of since 11/12/2018, we were not aware of Ms. submitting a complaint to the Revdex.com since we have contacted her and issued her a full refund of any money paid towards document preparation, when Ms. originally spoke to an account manager he went over all the details on how the process works and *** understood this information at the time, we are not sure where she misunderstood or thought that we were PSLF, if this is a term not a entity- Public Service Loan Forgiveness is a program that has been out since 2010 and she was not enrolled in this repayment and when our account manager advised her of it she wanted to take advantage of it, per her complaint she stated that she never gave us permission/authorization to change any information but again all this information was given to her when she spoke to her account manager on 11/3/2018 and she signed Power of Attorney, we are hoping that Ms. is more then satisfied with the refund and cancellation of her agreement and that this matter be considered resolved, we appreciate the opportunity to respond to this complaint and hope that this information is suffice, please advise if anything else is needed from S.E.C.

Student Education Center listed an ad on Instagram about a federal student loan forgiveness program and the day I seen the post was the "last" day to sign up for the program. Thinking why not, I signed up and someone reached out to me to start the program. It was quick and easy and I should've suspected something was not right because everything was too good to be true but I still didn't follow my instincts. When I asked if I could have time to review the document and he told me that I needed to hurry up and sign because they have a budding list of folks wanting the same program. Like an it, I signed and gave away my personal information. Now looking back, I can't believe I was so desperate. I was asked to pay $259 for a certain period and then after that period, my fee would be something crazy ridiculously low. My first payment came out the Friday of that same week I spoke with this gentlemen. Then I received an email from FAFSA regarding account information being changed and my instincts started to kick in again so I started to research Student Education Center. Their website only had telephone numbers and no address, which I thought was weird. Oh but first when I typed in Student Education Center in google following its name was SCAM. So then I started to freak out. On here Revdex.com, there were other complaints about the company and I decided to contact my bank to have them to dispute the charge and update my account information. Thankfully I did. A couple months later, I found out that both my FAFSA and FedLoan services accounts were changed to completely different contact information (emails, telephone numbers, physical address, you name it). Also, they put a forbearance in my name that would last until March 26, 2018. The forbearance of course was a cover up so FedLoan would not contact me to ask for payment. When I tried to approach the situation to SEC, they tried to feed me a bunch of BS, why they're not fraud and legit. I don't understand what someone's heart looks like inside, who does this for a living. Any who, I'm posting this blurb about them EVERYWHERE. Hopefully it will stop them from frustrating someone else.

We have reached out to Ms. numerous times to discuss her concerns. She has stated on numerous occasions she does not wish to engage in any conversation to resolve her concerns. Ms. call recording and file was reviewed thoroughly by

the compliance department. We are pleased to state that all requirements were outlined and the service was explained thoroughly. Despite our organization doing everything possible to ease Ms. concerns we felt it was best to return the only

payment she had made towards the process. She filed her complaint without contacting us to resolve any concerns first and before she was 20% thru the process. Our goal first and foremost is to educate and help clients review there options. We are

pleased to conclude on the recorded and monitored call this was the case with Ms.. We offered to give Ms. free help as our number 1 mission is to educate and empower those dealing with financial hardships. Although Ms. declined we

ask that she reach out to us to resolve this matter directly. The recording of the call is available to review. Thank you for the consideration in this matter. Ms. we would like nothing more than for you to reach your goals of alleviating the financial stress

these loans have caused you. Although Ms. is not one of our 9,000 clients her concerns and goals are just as important. Ms. please feel free to reach out to us as we would at the very least provide information to you that can help you work on

getting a foot hold on this debt. Thank you.

My overall experience with Student Education Center was phenomenal, thanks Jake for informing me about these Income Driven Programs. Months after months of putting myself in forbearance and on different holds I can finally stop doing that and make monthly payments that are finally within my budget and expenses.

I received numerous phone calls from the student Education Services Center, and I finally called them back. And my conversation with the gentleman I was talking to, I was told information that some was accurate some was not. When he did my paperwork to help me with my loan because my loan is almost in default he told me that I qualify for government forgiveness and that if I paid $149 is a month for 8 months then I would go to the zero payments per month for 240 months after that. My loan age is 8 years so 17 more years will be my 25-year mark on the government student loans. At which point my loans, however much is left on the loan balance, could be forgiven in full for the remainder. That is not accurate information please beware of this company. One week after I set up payment arrangements, thankfully before my first payment was made, I spoke to my student loan Finance Company and she told me that my account was going into default and I explained to her that I had already spoken to a gentleman at the education Student Center. She asked me what the terms were so I told her. She ran the paperwork and I actually qualify for $0 payments for the first 12 months on my payment deferment plan. After that time I will have to reapply for the deferments to continue. After 20 to 25 years of the loan age then I could possibly be forgiven forgiven for the remainder of what is left on my loan. However if I begin making more money than I am now then my payments May restart in 13 months. The $149 that student Center had told me would go towards my loan was not going to go towards the loan at all they were charging me $1,192 for paperwork to do the same thing that my finance company did for me only I got a better deal out of it and I'm saving money that's not going to a worthless company please watch out for this company

We are sorry to hear about Ms.C*** experience. We have made numerous attempts to resolve any issues with Ms.C*** directly. She has been unresponsive to all contact attempts, (Phone calls,E-Mails and Text Messages). Student Education Center takes any and all complaints very seriously and addresses any concerns in a timely fashion. Unfortunately with no response or cooperation from Ms.C*** , this has not been possible. Our compliance team has diligently reviewed her file and listened to the call recording that took place on 10/22/2018. Per the call recording Ms.C*** was very stressed due to financially struggling with her loans. Ms.C*** advised her account manager that her loans were so past due they were going to start garnishing her wages again. With our help and document preparation Ms.C*** was presented and signed up for an opportunity to take advantage programs being offered. In the hour plus call with her agent every detail was covered along with her signing an agreement. Student Education Center makes sure that all of our clients are educated on the process that takes place when they sign up. Student Education Center does not take any clients on if there is not a significant benefit for the client thru our services. We are more than happy to review the call, documents and resolve Ms.C***'s complaint to a satisfactory conclusion.Student Education Center provides a 100% written guarantee of all services so far as both parties make an attempt to reach an agreed upon goal. We urge Ms. C to reach out to us. If the Revdex.com would like to review the recorded call from 10/22/18 we will gladly provide that as well. We understand Ms. C was in a very stressful financial situation when she came to us for help, we would like to continue to alleviate this stress. Thank you.

On January 17,2018, I had entered into a contract with Student Education Center via Aaron R. In that contract, it was stated that the organization would enter me into a Loan Forgiveness Program and would bring my student loans out of default through their services. The company has claimed that they have provided their "services" and that they had entered me into a Loan Rehabilitation Program through National Recoveries which was the debt collector holding my loans. In Fact, I had already been enrolled in this program on January 10, 2018, prior to our first correspondence. After Student Education Center's lack of communication and failure to uphold the contracted services (which no services were performed) I had asked for a full refund in May 2018. I received a disrespectful rebuttal in response. In January, Emails stating that they had enrolled me in the Loan Forgiveness Program and that a processor would call me in June 2018 by the name of Miles Harris to complete the Loan Forgiveness Enrollment and neither have been done. Once the Loan rehabilitation Program, that I had in-fact enrolled myself in was completed September 10, 2017, there was again no correspondence from Student Education Center. I had to call my student loan collector myself to find where my loan was transferred to and enroll myself in a new payment plan to keep the loans from defaulting. I called Aaron R on October 10, 2018 to receive his voicemail where I had asked him politely to call me back at his earliest convenience. He called at 7:11pm EST where again I had asked him for a refund for the services he did not provide. He then continued to berate me and talk over me for approximately 13 minutes and would not let me speak to discuss this matter. When I had asked to get a word in, he began to grow in anger and replied "NO! I AM NOT DONE TALKING!" and I politely said that I was done with this conversation and where he continued to yell and talk over me which I then ended the call.

Ms. signed up for our document preparation help on 01/17/18. At the time of her request for our help she was in default. Default is the status Ms. went in to due to being behind on her student loans for over a year straight. As

promised we proved every client a 100% guarantee in writing. We assisted Ms. with getting her loans out of default, we also stopped any pending garnishments to her wages and or taxes. Despite her being in a very bad situation with

her loans we were able to get her back on track with an affordable program. We reached out to Ms. Immediately upon her concerns. She ignored all our request to speak to her directly. We value each and every one of our clients and

take any concerns they may have of our service very seriously. In Ms. case she advised us thru the Revdex.com she would rather not speak to us. We have proof of all the work we submitted and facilitated on her behalf. We can provide

the Revdex.com with proof of all this if Ms. wishes to not deal with us directly to come to an amicable resolution. We are still open to dealing with Ms. directly to address all of her concerns and come to a resolution. To recap we have

completed all work as promised and have proof of all services rendered. We are understanding if Ms. needs clarification of any of this and urge her to contact us. Thank you.

I have asked the Student Education Center to send me proof. Of services rendered numerous times and they said that was not possible. I have not ignored them ever in any correspondence. No paper work has ever been shown to me that they have completed anything on my behalf. I had no pending garnishments from the government. I am aware that I was in default when I had initially called January 17, 2018 but as I stated in my initial complaint I had already filed myself into the Rehabilitation Program through my loan servicer on January 10, 2018 which the Student Education Center has been claiming they did ansd DID NOT. ALSO, the Student Education Center, specifically, Aaron R has been nothing but rude, berating, and ignorant of these facts through yelling and calling me "man" and other slang terms which I found to be very disrespectful. I would like a full refund of $ 630 because again, they have not completed any services and have treated me disrespectfully throughout our correspondences.

Thank you for the opportunity to reply to this complaint, we have continuously tried to reach out to Ms. per the conversation we had on 10/27/2018, Ms. acknowledged that this was all one big misunderstanding and agreed on a recorded call that she would contact the Revdex.com and ask to have the complaint retracted and not posted, we have issued Ms. a full refund with services rendered and now she has been unresponsive for the past few months, we always make sure that our clients have a better understanding of what exactly it is that we provide for them, we also have E-mail correspondence from Ms. stating that upon receipt of the refund she would do as she promised and contact the Revdex.com, we have tried to do everything it is on our end to make sure the consumer is satisfied but unfortunately Ms. is unresponsive and non compliant on her end of the bargain, please advise if you need S.E.C to provide any supporting documents/E-mails necessary in order to get this taken care of we would be more than happy to do so, we also want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to this complaint.

Student Education Center is an excellent company, now I know loan consolidation companies get a pretty bad rep these days but Student Education Center is a legit and stand up company that sticks out from all the rest. Look if you know everything to the loan process and how it all works and feel you don't need to look for help then good for you. But there are some of us out here who are too busy with everyday responsibilities to take the time to understand how it all works or we think we know how it works and we wind up hurting ourselves more in the long run which is why Student Education Center is the place to go, not only are they honest and upfront about there business and why they are here but they are accommodating to almost any individuals needs and very informational about the whole process. To kind of give you an idea of what I am talking about they explain the breakdown of everything and whats going to happen with your loans as your going through the steps, not too mention they stay in contact with you weekly so that your updated on the status of your loans. I was taken advantage of by another company and would not have ever found out if it had not been for my rep who was working with me and to top it all off he explained how I was taken advantage so I knew he wasn't just trying to get my business. Don't stress your self out with the responsibilities of taking care of your loan on your own or take a chance working with the wrong company get help and handle the solution for good, go to Student Education Center. Know the job is done!!!!

I was contacted by the "Student Education Center" on August 06, 2018. They claimed that I could pay $179.32 for 6 months and then $9.21 for 240 months and that the government would pay off my student loans after that was done. My original company that deals with my loans is Nelnet. I went on there today to check my account and my login wasn't working. I then clicked the "forget password" link and it said it was going to be sent to this crazy email address.....which was not mine. I then called Nelnet and they were verifying everything with me. They asked me if my address and phone number is what they had on file......which was not. So basically this so-called company went in and changed everything on my account. Nelnet told me that my account had been put in "forbearance mode".....which I did not do. This "company" has already taken out the first payment of $179.32. I would like that refunded back to me.....since it's nothing I am actually receiving. I tried calling the company and I all I get is music playing automatically......with no recording or anything. I have the name of the person with his extension that I talked to on the 6th. This "company" has my social security number and birthday, as well. I found all kinds of documentation online saying how this "company" is a scam.

Oscar R needs to be recognized. How responsive and helpful he has been through the entire process of consolidating my loans, is simply impressive. Like most, I am young with a lot of student debt and the assistance I have received honestly has taken a weight off my shoulders. Student Education Center has been so helpful through this. I would recommend them to anyone looking for assistance, 150% satisfied. It's good to know that when you are working with someone, with something as stressful as student debt, you actually know they are trying to help you anyway they can. Student Education Center is a company with employees that actually want to help, and they take pride in what they do. Thank you very much

Glad we could assist you ***. Thank you for your positive feedback!

They helped me even if my Loan Forgiveness Program was from a different company and they did this without charge. I got my monthly installment reduced to the correct amount without charging me.
Thanks to Oscar R, Resolutions Department Manager and Cody for all your help.
