DO NOT FALL FOR THIS COMPANIES TACTICS!
Needless to say I fell for it! The woman who sold me on it was VERY knowledgeable and quick to answer. Kept me at ease with an explanation for everything. After a while making there minimum (to good to be true) monthly payments, I find out that...They were pocketing my payments and put my account (***) into forbearance. When that timeline ran out they took my account to another finance company (***) and immediately put it in forbearance. All still pocketing my payment as I'm collecting interest on what they are not paying. When the new finance company *** called me about my account I told them I wasn't aware I had one with them. After I delved into it further with the customer service at ***, come to find out Student Education Center is on their "Do Not Do Business With" list. Which prompted me to call *** to find out they are their list as well. Then I call Student Education Center to complain and get my "money back guarantee" and all of as sudden the guy I'm talking to can't answer any of my questions and said someone will call me to get that started. It's been over a month and I haven't received a single phone call. Now I have a student loan with a much larger balance and many months of payments that could have gone to my balance but went into their pockets. These people shouldn't be able to get away with this!!!!! This is literally robbing hard working people! Do your research people! DON'T FALL FOR THIS!

Hello and thank you for this review Mr., we also suggest that that anyone who signs up with us does the research so they have a full understanding of what they signed up for, we apologize that you feel this way and assure you that what you have been told is not entirely true and I would like to give you the facts on what loan forgiveness is and how you are going to benefit from what you have signed up for, our agreement does identify how the process works and what we will do for you so that everyone involved is on the same page, we would appreciate it if you called Oscar in our Resolutions Department back for more clarity on this matter, Student Education Center is here to make sure you save money and time and not to make things difficult for you, so once again we apologize to you for any misunderstanding and inconvinience this has caused you, please call our office today so that we may address this accordingly.

This business is a scam. Not only did they change all my information in my FSA account and my current student loan repayment account, but they did not offer what they promised. In addition, their communication is awful and inconsistent. Amanda was the woman whose phone call I finally answered (after many, many, many ignored calls from their phone number). She refused to get off the phone with me even after I told her I needed to go because my lunch break was over and my students were back in class. Whenever I tried to call her to ask a question, I got her voicemail. While I left messages to call me back, she wouldn't until I would continuously call customer service (who also wouldn't call me back when I left a message). I also asked for confirmation emails to me sent to me, including when I told them to cancel my account, and I still have not received anything. Don't waste your time with this "business" - they're a total scam.

Oscar has also tried reaching out and has responded to your emails and I understand you work but the communication has to be consistent on both ends and for clarification you were refunded in full and then posted this review so I do not understand what you mean by you still haven't received anything, again we apologize for the inconvinience but I do not see how your account manager not getting back to you considers us a scam, we are here to make sure you and all of our clients are happy with our services and save as much money as you possibly can by getting you enrolled into a program that has been around since 2011 but you were never aware or enrolled in it, again we want to apologize for any inconvenience and we would love it if you gave us the opportunity to correct this, thank you again and we also thank the Revdex.com for allowing us to respond to this review.

Anytime I didn’t hear back from my case manager, or anyone else because she wasn’t available, I would have to call customer service multiple times just to get someone to answer. I still haven’t received a cancellation email on my account, which I was told would be sent to me. This company left me stressed because of inconsistent and I was frequently left with unanswered questions.

I gave my trust and faith in Student Education Center to help me get my loans forgiven, they did such an excellent and outstanding job, they kept their word on provided me with the services that they said they will give me, they kept me updated on everything they did. I was struggling to make my payments on time because they weren't affordable but Student Education Center got me into a program that I never knew existed, my lender never told me about these programs when asked I them for help all they did was put me into a forbearance and let the interest build up on my loans. I would have continued to struggle if wasn't for Student Education Center, I strongly recommend them to help those of you who are in need of help.

Today, I got an unsolicited phone call from Student Loan Forgiveness Program. Richard R was the representative's name and he told me he was calling from Student Education Center. My cellphone is register on the National Do Not Call List. Student Education Center clearly violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Plan. I have an email from Mr. R and his contact information.

Aaron and Student Education Center have been helping me with my loan forgiveness enrollment and yearly certification since May of 2018. I couldn't afford the monthly payments my servicer Nelnet was offering and they provided little help to make the situation manageable. All I could do was use my forbearances to keep the payments at bay for 6 months at a time.

Aaron clearly laid out my options and makes sure that he always maximizes my benefit. I got a new job recently just about the time I was supposed to certify for my 2nd year and he double checked to see if my employer qualified for any additional benefits. If you're dealing with student loans that are stressing you out I hope you talk to this place bc it will be worth the time!

To be honest I was extremely worried about my student loans and how I was going to manage paying them but I switched from working with Navient to Student Education Center and they made everything easier and smoother, on top of that they were available just about every time I needed a question answered or needed to get in touch with my account manager. Very happy with their service.

I was transferred to a rep at student education center a day after I was very nervous about the due date on my loans after I was behind on them for two months. they helped me by postponing payments and getting me into a more comfortable situation. they serviced my loans very well and the rep dayleen was very helpful. I still keep in touch to make sure its going according to plan and I get a response right away. I rather pay student education center than my lender since they are helping me save so much money in the future.

dave at student education center was advised of my student loan burden and he quickly acted on putting me in a correct position to help me first reduce my payments and to put me into a forgiveness program that eliminates them. any how I will be paying much less per month than before.
