I started working with this company a few months now and I had this student loan balance for several years and seems the more I pay on it the more I dont see it go down at all and my monthly $330 payment I was making is now going to be lowered to $120 which is going to save me a ton of money. My overall experience has been nothing but positive vibes, really good people, attentive when I have questions and always gives me an update on my account.

I had a great experince with student education center, this will be me my 2nd year with them since they handled my consolidation my 1st year I enrolled through them and it was very professional. They are a very trust worthy company, and will recommend to anyone who has been dealing with their student loans.

Student Ed Center contacted me over the phone July 2018 and proceded to tell me that they were going to help me pay off my student loans that were in default. They told me that for 6 months I would have to pay $181.00 once a month and after completing that sucessfully that I would then be reevaluated for a much smaller amount to pay for the next 36 months. I successfully paid my first 6 months of payments and started to get phone calls from the actual debt collectors responsible for my defaulted loans [made sure through dept. of education] saying that their was no documentation of me ever paying anything on my loans. So I contacted the student ed center and asked Amanda, the woman handling my account about what was going on and she proceded to tell me that everything was fine and that someone was just trying to get more money out of me. Well I dug deeper into it and found out that student ed center had not been putting any money towards paying off my loan and there was no record of them working with the dept. of education. I am a single mother of two young children just trying to get by and that amount of money might seem small to some but it makes a big dent in my finances. I am disgusted with these scam artists! I just want my money back so that I can put it towards a better future for my family.

I have no problem paying for a service that is not only beneficial but also way less in cost then what I was paying before, and the sad thing about this all is that I was paying on my loans for 6 years and nothing was happening, well it all turned out that the LENDER my so called loan handler had me in a graduated program because I could not financially afford to pay what they were asking, long story short is that I got notice from my lender a few days ago that it is time for re-certification and basically told me that if this is not done correctly my payments will jump back up to $389 and when I called them all I got was the run around and no assistance, I called S.E.C and spoke to Oscar again and all he said was send me pay stubs and they will get it taken care of, I am fortunate to say that my experience with S.E.C has been nothing but the best and I appreciate the professionalism and immaculate customer service, THANK YOU STUDENT EDUCATION CENTER FOR MAKING MY LIFE JUST A LITTLE BIT EASIER .

SCAM ALERT! This place is a scam. They tell you they will qualify you for a $0 payment on your student loan consolidation - the only way the were able to do that for me is to lie on the application that they submit to the Department of Education. They said I have 3 kids (I only have 2) and that I am unemployed (I am a public school teacher). Not only that they never paid anything to my student loans and my loans went in to default. They change all of the contact information on my application to some bogus information and I never received any correspondence about my student loans. When I ask for a full refund this is what I was sent in an email...
Good Morning, as I discussed with Ms, I will need a written statement that we have come to resolution of this matter and no complaints will be filed with any Agencies such as Revdex.com, AG, CFPB, etc. at anytime before or after the refund in the amount of $3,037.00 is received, this is what we went over on a recorded call and I am hoping this is still something that will be completed, I also need both your and her signature on the document in order to process the refund, and again for what it is worth I apologize for any inconvenience and hope we can get this taken care of accordingly before the holidays, thank you again and have a blessed day.

I believe this is called extortion and I have stated a criminal investigation into this "business" Stay away! it's a SCAM!

I can't thank you guys and gals enough with all your help assisting me with my loans and getting myself approved for a lower payment than what mohela was requesting from me. They consolidated all my loans away from them and now instead of making $479 payments every month to them my payment is $75. Im so excited that now I can go and buy gifts for my 2 little ones for Christmas with what I saved.

They were supposed to pay off my loans with Nelnet so I wouldn’t be contacted by them anymore. They were taking $131.00 a month as a payment for my loan but never paid it off. I had to get a deferment through Nelnet. I paid them for 2 months for nothing. I have been trying to contact them for a month for a refund and they do not take my calls or return my emails. I would like a refund of the $262.00 that I paid.
