We  cancelled the account with [redacted] in early January 2016.We arranged for removal of the equipment that was installed on 1/7/2016, at that time [redacted] refused to allow the technician access for removal.SHS will stop billing when our equipment is received.[redacted] will have...

all charges waived when the equipment is returnedSHS is willing to schedule an appointment to remove our equipment at [redacted] convenience.

The original contract signed included a year long renewal, which Safe Home Security was in legal right to accrue as it was signed prior to May of 2010. To assist the costumer, who alleged that they were experiencing financial issues, we offered a one year agreement with a lowered rate. The company does not force customers to sign any agreement, the customer knew full well what they were signing and understood the agreement.

I have reviewed the account and am having a refund check in the ammount of $747.00 sent to Mr. [redacted]. I have reach out to the client to infom him of this. (a voice mail was left for him). Mr. [redacted] has my direct contact information in case there is any further trouble.

rejecting this response because:  The contract does not state that the service is managed by a third party who if there is a failure to the system will notify Safe guard, but SafeGuard will not notify the client.  The recorded line will also indicate that the sales staff as well as the Conflict Manager indicate that the forementioned information is not on the contract.  Repeatedly it is stated from them that the client should have "asked more questions" indicating that the paperwork provided was in fact misleading.  The recorded line will also indicate the failure for them to come out as the were scheduled to do so to check the system. I did not reschedule another call because I requested the contract to be canceled.  The recorded line will also indicate that I was advised the contract would not be cancelled or reviewed by the President because he is too busy to deal with individual clients and regardless of the validity of complaint or misleading, incorrect, or otherwise the contract was, they will never and have never cancelled a contract.  The company is a scam, they know they are and they don't care that they are.  I feel very strongly that my expectations from their salesperson were misleading.  Whether I read every single word in the contract or not is a mute point.  They are not doing what the contract says and have purposely and intentionally left out critical detail in the contract.  The contract reads as if they are taking care of the client.  They are not.  That is false and misleading!  For these reasons I am requesting the contract be cancelled.  The recorded conversations indicate the willing and purposeful intent to mislead the client.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: what about service paid for that within the year they didn't service me ? And business wise you shows no compassion for misunderstanding of a contract.

As per the attached emails previously submitted, my cancelation notices were submitted prior to May 31. The slow processing of email cancelation requests is an inadequacy of the company itself, and should not be charged to the consumer. Cancelation requests began in April. Several employees agreed that I was owed a 3 month refund. The dispute was regarding the fourth month I was charged for. They were told that they did not have permission to continue electronic withdrawals from my checking account, but continued to withdraw funds, which is illegal. They sent a letter stating I was still under contract that's why I was having funds withdrawn, although my contract ended Aug 2015.

The client switched service while under contract. If that's the case then they must pay the back balance owed and we will send a technician out to get them serviced.

We would be willing to accept $950 which is our breakeven point on teh contract if paid by 6/30/16.  Please contact Karen C[redacted] at ###-###-#### to accept.

To Whom It May Concern,We have reached out to [redacted] regarding this issue. A Senior Account Executive by the name of Colin C[redacted] has been assigned to the handling of the account. [redacted] and Mr. C[redacted] are working towards a resolution to this matter. Sincerely,[redacted]Corporate Account...

To whom it may concern:

It was brought to our attention that [redacted] has filed a complaint against Safe Home Security Inc. The complaint we received was due to lack of follow up in regards to additional equipment being installed. We have communicated with [redacted] back on...

Feb.26, 2016, where she stated she was interested in getting additional services added to the home but, was never able to finish the process because [redacted] neglected to return the agreement sent by the representative to get the equipment installed. [redacted] called on March 30th 2016 frustrated wanting to cancel her account. At this point the cancellation representative she spoke with explained she was not in rights to cancel the existing agreement. [redacted] responded saying, “I don’t care about the agreement and I am going to move forward to making sure that I don’t pay another dime.” I called twice since that last conversation with the cancellations rep and left two voicemails in where [redacted]’s daughter ([redacted]) returned my call. I explained the reason we haven’t installed parts is because we are still awaiting the document sent to her mother. I also explained that her mother was mailed an agreement back in Dec 2015 in where she signed and send back to us willingly; desiring to stay with our company. I also explained to [redacted] that due to the lack of follow up I was willing to schedule a technician to install the additional equipment without the preliminary paperwork.
Our company’s pledge is to assist our clients to best of our ability. But without reciprocating communication, it can be a tad bit difficult. Unfortunately, we cannot cancel the agreement until her term is fulfilled. We will be more than happy to render the services they originally called for and may call us at their earliest convenience. Thank you!
Respectfully,
Stephanie L[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:they still have not been able to straighten out my billing.

Customer is an agreement and went with another company. We have offered to switch back our equipment for free and continue to monitor until her agreement is completed. She has refused our options and plans on keeping the other company, which is her decision. We will hold her to the agreement that she signed and continue to bill until experation date. If she want a buyout amount, she can call us and we will provide it.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I filed a complaint against Safeguard America in January.  I never received any kind of response from this company ,either by email, phone or voice mail, following my complaint. My issues have NOT been resolved.  I called your ###-###-#### number today, after receiving a notice that my issue was closed.  I was told by the operator that the company claims to have left a voicemail message in an attempt to resolve my issues.  This never happened, yet the company has been sending me bills and threatening letters.  This company did not honor their end of our contract.  They failed to fix or replace my system within a reasonable amount of time.  They left me with a blaring and beeping alarm for 3 days and would have left me without services for at least 14 days.  I was forced to disconnect the unit to stop the noise. I had tried to resolve my issues with the company for those 3 days, with no result.  Finally I called the company and told them I no-longer wanted their services.  This company has been hounding me ever since. Safeguard America  lies, is unprofessional, and has a reputation for providing inadequate equipment and poor results to customer complaints. This was evident, from reading the company reviews. I want this issue to be reopened and since they breached their part of the contract, I want out of it.  That will be the only resolution I will accept. Please help me get an acceptable resolution to my issues.  I feel that this big company preys on the little people like me.  They should be sanctioned for the harassment and lack of ability to resolve my issues  FYI--I did not receive your email, with the company response, but was read their response by the Revdex.com operator.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
