I apologize for any confusion caused by our prior response On 9/6/ [redacted] enrolled under a personal training agreement that included half hour training session per month, billed at $69.99/ monthThis agreement was canceled after the 1st month's payment and on 10/10/ [redacted] upgraded her personal training to a training package that included personal training sessions per month, billed at $ [redacted] has made payments of $ For each of the payments made, [redacted] was issued personal training sessions, for a total of sessions [redacted] has used of the sessions issued for her current personal training packageAt no time was [redacted] double billed for her personal trainingAccording to our records, [redacted] has paid off the remaining months of her membership initial term; however, she is currently responsible for more months on her personal training initial term As stated in my prior response, we will be happy to make an exception for [redacted] to waive the remaining months of her initial personal training term upon receipt of a one-time cancellation fee in the amount of $ I have noted [redacted] account of this exception and she may pay the cancellation fee at her local JERSEY STRONG club or over the phone by calling [redacted]

We have thoroughly reviewed this inquiry for [redacted] and as stated in his agreement with us, [redacted] may cancel his membership at anytime after the completion of the initial term, by providing at least days written notice According to our records, [redacted] submitted a request to cancel his membership with us on 10/30/ His request was immediately processed in accordance with our 15-day cancellation policy [redacted] 's membership was cancelled on 11/30/[redacted] 's Annual Membership Fee is not billed for a prior or future year of membership It is simply a fee billed on a preset date, each year that his membership is activeBecause [redacted] 's membership with us was active on 11/1/2017, he was billed for his November membership and Annual Membership Fee Although [redacted] 's account has been billed in accordance with the terms & conditions of his agreement with us, we will make an exception to issue a credit card refund in the amount of $53.43, for the Annual Membership Fee paid on 11/1/ We hope this helps! We have thoroughly investigated this inquiry for [redacted] and according to our records, she enrolled under our 12-month VIP+ membership on 2/28/ Additionally, she signed as the purchaser of [redacted] agreement with us As stated in the signed agreements, their memberships cannot be canceled until the initial 12-month term has been completed.However, we do understand that they do not wish to continue with us and we want our members to be happy and healthy! Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: My ex-husband spoke to one of your associates in the woodbridge location on September 20,and asked how the membership needs to be canceled, they told him that as long as I called on of the locations that I could state it to them over the phoneI proceded to call them the next day in the Robbisnville location and spoke to the manager at the time, he said that he would take care of it and assured me that I would be fine I explained to him that I had my letter from my attorney and the order from the judge stating that all combined memberships that we had together either needed to be canceled or separated since I did not use the membership but maybe twice the whole timethe manager assured me that everything was taken care of and that he did not need to see the letter or the judegmentsalso I called around October of after receiving a email from the Robbinsville location and asked to be taking off the list and I asked then if they was an account balance and was informed no there was not, so to put my account with collections is wrong, not to mention I was told that you could not find me, you knew my number and email addressI find your business practice very wrong and then to tell me that you will give me a free month complementary membership are you really serious? why so that way you can say I never cancelled that memebership also and place my account in collections againthat is exactly how your business operates and you should be ashamed of yourselves Regards, [redacted]

We would never hide or not disclose information from our members The $monthly dues increase and Annual Membership Fee are clearly disclosed on the front page of [redacted] WoW membership agreementUnder the heading titled "About This Membership" [redacted] agreement states, "This membership is subject to a $monthly dues increase upon completion of the initial term.." Also, under the heading "About This Membership", "An Annual Membership Fee of $will be assessed to your membership and added to your monthly dues at month four of your membership and then annually thereafter." [redacted] $monthly membership dues increase was scheduled to start on 9/1/ If [redacted] would like to continue her membership with WoW, she may contact us for details on how to lower her monthly dues back to the original rate [redacted] may submit a request through our online support desk at support.workoutworld.comAs [redacted] WoW membership was active on 12/1/her account was billed for the Annual Membership Fee [redacted] membership has been billed in accordance with the terms & conditions of her agreement with us, and there is no refund due at this time We are sorry to hear that [redacted] would like to cancel her membership with us We have entered a cancellation for 12/31/ [redacted] will have access to the club until 12/31/ We would like [redacted] to know that she has an exceptional membership dues rate Members are currently paying around $30/ month for a new VIP membership with WoW If [redacted] would like to rescind the cancellation of December 31st and continue on her low monthly dues rate, she may submit a request prior to 12/31/to remove the cancellation date

We have thoroughly reviewed [redacted] request Through our online Support Desk, we notified [redacted] that his membership would remain active for the full month of January When a member who is within the initial term of their agreement is requesting to cancel due to relocating, we will cancel the member's agreement upon receipt of a payment in the amount of 10% of their total contract price If the 10% payment is approved by the member and processed after the 1st of the month, the membership will be cancelled at the end of that month No refund will be issued for payments received prior to that date However, we do understand that [redacted] is not able to use the facility for the remainder of January due to relocating We have issued a credit card refund in the amount of $for the January membership dues paid by [redacted] We have issued a credit card refund in the amount of $for the January membership dues paid by [redacted] If [redacted] are ever back in NJ we would love to have them be part of the Jersey Strong Family again!

We are more than happy to help clear up any confusion or frustration for [redacted] I have searched our records and was unable to locate any previous cancellation requests or documents stating that [redacted] was movingWe have made the exception to waive the remaining balance of $from ** [redacted] 's WoW membership account and it has been closed immediatelyWe would love to have her as a member again in the future!In searching our records, I was able to locate a freeze request for [redacted] WoW membership accountA credit in the amount of $has been place on her WoW membership account and the account has been set to freeze until further notice at the rate of $+ tax per monthWe hope this helps!

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I appreciate such a timely reply but must make a few corrections and clarifications First, I put my personal training sessions in a freeze, to which I was charged $per month I did not put my membership on freeze, as I was still able to go gentle cardio exercise during the time of my recovery If my membership was frozen, I would not have been able to swipe my card and use the gym as I did during the months of May, June and July Secondly, my ultimate goal was to be able to resume personal training once my doctor allowed me to, however, in the interim, we had to relocateSince I could not use a work out world to continue my training in our new location, I wished to cancel both the personal training and general membership I do not understand what the company has "lost" that necessitates the $charge, and furthermore, when I signed on for personal training, at NO Time, did anyone explain that the contract could not be ended without a significant penaltyJudging from the number of complaints (in years)for similar issues on the Revdex.com website and a "d" rating, I am to assume that it is not policy inform customers of all the hidden penalties for early cancellation, even if for a completely ligitamate reason as in this case Lastly, your unwillingness to provide a phone number for customer service to simply have a conversation with a person and not an email conversation, is quite telling of the number of complaints you have and how little you care about taking care of the customer Regards, [redacted] ***

According to our records, on 2/8/ [redacted] enrolled under a membership agreement with an initial term of months As stated in [redacted] agreement with us, her WoW membership account was continual until a cancellation request was received Upon completion of her initial month term, [redacted] WoW membership continued on a month-to-month basis As a cancellation request was not received, [redacted] membership was billed in accordance to her agreement Due to the outstanding balance of $97.53, [redacted] WoW membership was cancelled and sent to collections I have reviewed [redacted] account with one of our owners, Mary R [redacted] Mary does not normally do this, but she has made the exception to waive the $collections fee applied to [redacted] membership account Upon receipt of a payment in the amount of $we will remove [redacted] account from collections At that time, she may choose to remain cancelled or rejoin under a current promotion [redacted] may make a payment by contacting her local WoW at [redacted]

We have thoroughly looked into this for [redacted] We see that she was issued a credit of $for boot camp on 5/6/On 6/15/** [redacted] disputed 4/1/dues and her [redacted] with her credit card company, which was a bill she was responsible forOn 6/23/we lost this charge back and added the bill back into her account along with a $charge back feeThe $charge back fee is what WoW is charged for each dispute a member places against us
