I am rejecting this response because:my back pain has been a permanent disability since I was years old and have been going to physical therapy and chiropractors since then per doctors orders, I have not used my personal training sessions as per the email below suggests I should not pay a cancellation fee, for services I no longer can do I go to the gym now just to walk on treadmill- that requires no heavy lifting or excess amount of strain

According to our records on 9/6/*** *** enrolled under a personal training agreement with an initial term of months As stated in his agreement with WoW, he may cancel his personal training agreement upon completion of the initial term by providing at least days written notice

According to our records, on 4/07/*** *** enrolled in a WoW membership agreement with an initial term of monthsWe received *** ***'s Online Support Ticket request to cancel his membership on 6/14/to which we replied reminding him of his initial term and set him to cancel at the end
of his initial term *** *** also has the option to freeze his WoW membership account, so that he does not get billed the full monthly price while he cannot use the gym. Due to his situation, the owner Mary R*** will be more than happy to make an exception for *** *** *** may cancel his agreement prior to the completion of his initial term upon payment of an Early Cancellation fee totaling $We hope this helps!

We would never hide or not disclose information from our members The $monthly dues increase and Annual Membership Fee are clearly disclosed on the front page of *** *** WoW membership agreement. Under the heading titled "About This Membership" *** *** agreement
states, "This membership is subject to a $monthly dues increase upon completion of the initial term.." Also, under the heading "About This Membership", "An Annual Membership Fee of $will be assessed to your membership and added to your monthly dues at month four of your membership and then annually thereafter." *** *** $monthly membership dues increase was scheduled to start on 9/1/ If *** *** would like to continue her membership with WoW, she may contact us for details on how to lower her monthly dues back to the original rate *** *** may submit a request through our online support desk at support.workoutworld.com. As *** *** WoW membership was active on 12/1/her account was billed for the Annual Membership Fee *** *** membership has been billed in accordance with the terms & conditions of her agreement with us, and there is no refund due at this time We are sorry to hear that *** *** would like to cancel her membership with us We have entered a cancellation for 12/31/ *** *** will have access to the club until 12/31/ We would like *** *** to know that she has an exceptional membership dues rate Members are currently paying around $30/ month for a new VIP membership with WoW If *** *** would like to rescind the cancellation of December 31st and continue on her low monthly dues rate, she may submit a request prior to 12/31/to remove the cancellation date

I am rejecting this response because:What is written in the fine print of the contract is not what was promised to me by the salesmanHe said that this was a one time purchase and a recurring contract wouldn't applyHe specifically said this I would have in no way signed if I had thought otherwiseWas I foolish to trust the salesperson at their word? PossiblyBut any reputable business wants happy clients and would honor the fact that I only wanted sessions and not rely on a con to extract moreI will only accept the purchase of the original sessions and anything less is unsatisfactory because this business is willfully deceiving customersA quick scan online shows that I am far from the first person to be scammed by Work Out World

originally February 1st of every yearThe new membership agreement she chose to enroll in to lower her dues on 2/04/has an Annual Membership Fee date of May 1stThough I understand that *** *** may not have understood that enrolling in a new agreement does not relieve her of her contractual fees, we will make an exceptionTo keep her as a happy member, we will make the exception to refund the Annual Membership fee billed on 2/01/We hope this helps! I am rejecting this response because: My ex-husband spoke to one of your associates in the woodbridge location on September 20,and asked how the membership needs to be canceled, they told him that as long as I called on of the locations that I could state it to them over the phoneI proceded to call them the next day in the Robbisnville location and spoke to the manager at the time, he said that he would take care of it and assured me that I would be fine I explained to him that I had my letter from my attorney and the order from the judge stating that all combined memberships that we had together either needed to be canceled or separated since I did not use the membership but maybe twice the whole timethe manager assured me that everything was taken care of and that he did not need to see the letter or the judegmentsalso I called around October of after receiving a email from the Robbinsville location and asked to be taking off the list and I asked then if they was an account balance and was informed no there was not, so to put my account with collections is wrong, not to mention I was told that you could not find me, you knew my number and email addressI find your business practice very wrong and then to tell me that you will give me a free month complementary membership are you really serious? why so that way you can say I never cancelled that memebership also and place my account in collections againthat is exactly how your business operates and you should be ashamed of yourselves

As mentioned in my previous response, I made several attempts to discuss the billing on Ms *** WoW membership account and did not receive any reply from herWe answered each of her Online Support Tickets and sent additional follow up ticketsMs *** was billed different amounts due to the credit card disputes we received for valid charges on her accountWe do not issue monthly invoices, however I would be more than happy to go over each bill with Ms *** or show her the account's billing history. To keep her as a happy member, we will make the exception to pull her account from collections and return the $she paid on 6/20/If she would like to continue her membership, we will waive her $increase going forwardHer monthly dues rate would continue at the rate of $per month for the remainder of the membership

As I have said I do NOT WISH to have my account placed on a freezeI will not be able to return back to gym PERIODI want my contract canceled as well as the $they took from me that I was NOT able to use for the personal training as well as partial payment of the amount that I paid in the beginning of JanuaryI ONLY had sessions with TimSince then I have not been able to return to the gym. This is upsetting for me the the fact that I am NOT able to use the gym or any serviceBut at the same time I am NOT GOING ALLOW this gym to keep or take my money for a service that I am not able to useIf I do not get the resolution I am asking for I will go to the Attorney Generlas Office with this complaint FURTHER.

We have thoroughly looked into this for *** *** According to our records, on 12/10/*** *** enrolled under a personal training agreement with an initial term of 12-months As stated in her agreement with us, if the member requests to cancel the agreement prior to the completion
of the initial term due to a move, JERSEY STRONG will require proof of change in permanent residence Although the documents provided by *** *** do not prove a change in permanent residence, we will be happy to honor her request Please note, in a cancellation based on a change in permanent residence, the member will be billed 10% of their total contract price However, we will go one step further for *** *** and apply the payment of $359.92, received on 8/10/to the 10% cancellation fee of $and in addition, waive the remaining 10% cancellation fee balance of $ We hope this helps!*** *** personal training agreement and membership have been canceledA credit card refund in the amount of $has been issued for the membership dues paid on 9/1/ The personal sessions available on *** ***'s account will be available to her when she comes back to NJ!
