Hello I did a complaint with you and now it's resolved Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted] ***

We have thoroughly looked into this for ** [redacted] We see that on 12/29/** [redacted] signed up with WoW, her membership included a month free trial of boot camp and if a cancellation was not received then the member is responsible for the payments going forward on a monthly basis until a cancel is submitted, if a cancel is not submitted we are under the impression the member is happy with their servicesWe normally do not do this, however, the exception as been made to issue [redacted] a credit card refund in the amount of $( months of boot camp which is $29/mo ) We hope this helps, and she comes in today to enjoy the club!

At this time, all expired training sessions on [redacted] WoW membership account have been reissued [redacted] currently has 9, 1/hour personal training sessions available to be scheduled [redacted] may contact her local WoW at [redacted] , or she may stop by to schedule these sessions at her convenience.We hope these training sessions will help [redacted] ***r continue living a healthy lifestyle [redacted] and/or [redacted] may speak to the Personal Training Department if they have any questions regarding a future training package We hope this helps!

[redacted] enrolled in a month membership on 8/08/He has completed months of membership and has an outstanding balance for NovemberHe submitted a cancellation request via online support ticket on 10/31/to which we replied reminding him of the terms of his agreement and our Early Cancellation policy for members who are now medically unable to use the gym as instructed by their primary care physician [redacted] submitted a medical note on 11/04/signed by a Nurse Practitioner from a waclinic that did not meet the requirements to cancel his membership prior to the completion of his initial termWe explained that he has the option to freeze his membership at a reduced medical freeze rate for as long as he would need to recoverWe supplied all the information needed and offered to help while still upholding our agreementWhen contacting ABC Financial on 11/16/2016, he was given the option to pay the remainder of his contract We are very sorry to hear that [redacted] is not feeling wellWe attempted to accommodate his situation the best that we could with the information he providedI apologize if [redacted] feels anything less than satisfied with our customer support as it was not our intentionThe same day we received this complaint, [redacted] submitted a Proof Of Move document which qualifies him to cancel upon payment of 10% of his total contract priceTo cancel his membership, we must receive payment for the past due amount of $plus 10% of his total contract price $totaling $We hope he feels better soon and when his health improves, we hope he chooses to rejoin with us

We appreciate your patience while we have thoroughly reviewed [redacted] inquiry According to our records, on 4/14/ [redacted] enrolled under a personal training agreement with an initial term of 12-monthsHer personal training agreement cannot be cancelled until the initial term has been complete We would never hide or not disclose information from our members On the first page of [redacted] personal training agreement with us, under the section titled "Monthly Addendum Option" it states "You may cancel after the expiration of your remaining addendum term..." At this time, [redacted] has completed a total of 3-months on her initial 12-month termAlthough [redacted] is responsible for the full term of her agreement with us, we will be happy to make an exception for her to downgrade her personal training package If [redacted] would like to downgrade her agreement to our package that includes personal training sessions per month, she will be responsible for additional monthly payment in the amount of $ I have noted [redacted] account of this exception and she may downgrade her agreement at her local Jersey Strong location

We have thoroughly reviewed the documents provided by [redacted] The notes provided do not state that [redacted] is permanently disabled; therefore, [redacted] membership is not eligible to be canceled until her initial membership term has been completeDue to [redacted] current circumstance, we will be happy to make an exception to freeze her membership at $through June Please note, any months that [redacted] membership is on freeze will not count towards the initial term of her agreement with us If [redacted] would like to freeze her membership through 6/30/2018, she may reply to this inquiry or submit a request at support.jerseystrong.com If [redacted] does not submit an additional request, her monthly membership dues will continue to bill until the previously applied cancellation date of 6/30/

We have discussed this situation with [redacted] directly WoW and [redacted] have come to a mutually satisfying agreement

Complaint [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Rich also verbally cancelled the contract from 11/as he stated to me on 11/Interestingly enough, I have requested the personal training contract but [redacted] was only able to produce the contract from 11/Angel, the representative, told me he was able to view the personal training agreementI have requested the 2nd agreement on two separate occasions however no one will provide access to what I signed on 11/ Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:as I stated in my first commentI was never contacted by phone or email or mail from anyone at the wowI called the wow gym and to find out they have an incorrect email in fileI never provided an email as I signed up for the membership over the phone and the rep did not ask me for an emailIf the membership was canceled in October 2015, why am I finding out about it months later from a collection agency? I have thoroughly looked into this for [redacted] and on 11/13/our office was in receipt of a request to cancel her WoW membership account There is no record of a cancellation submitted prior to 11/13/ [redacted] 's WoW membership was cancelled accordingly on 11/30/ According to our records, on 6/15/WoW was notified of a credit card dispute filed for [redacted] 's October and November membership dues in the amount of $each As [redacted] 's membership was active at that time, she is responsible for payment of the charges billedThe outstanding balance of $was sent to collections We have confirmed with the collections agency that [redacted] has paid the balance in full and our records have been updated accordingly As stated in [redacted] 's agreement with us, upon completion of the initial term, her membership will continue on a month-to-month basis until a written cancellation was received As a request to cancel was not received prior to November 2015, [redacted] 's membership remained active and she is responsible for payment of her membership dues through 11/30/ At this time, no refund is due We would be happy to give [redacted] a month complimentary membership so that she may use the months she paid for, plus one extra month! We hope this helps If [redacted] would like to take advantage of the free months, she may contact me directly at 732-903-ext 145, during regular business hours I will be happy to add the complimentary membership to her account for her

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Although WOW claims that they would never not disclose or hide any information regarding my membership to me, I was never given a copy of my membership agreement at the time of signing the membershipI was given three different options to choose from; 1) to pay month to month which would not lock me into a contract, 2) to sign on for a three month contract, and 3) to do a one year membershipAfter comparing all three of the costs I decided to chose the full year membership because it was cheaper than the other two options, of course that was without being told that there was a $annual fee, and a $per month freeze fee if I were to freeze my accountI also asked for the most basic and cheapest account at the time of enrollment, however the manager that enrolled me LIED TO ME saying that the VIP membership was the cheapest one, so naturally I said "yes ill take that one", when in reality, the cheapest package is $9.99/mo, not the $21.39/mo that I was paying all summer, as shown in the attached photoWork out World did not disclose to me all of my options, maybe the "manager" that signed me up, Dylan S [redacted] is not informed enough to be signing people on to membershipsIn any case, I want WOW, specifically MrsR [redacted] to contact me directly so we can settle this issueI want my membership changed to the $per month membership, I will not pay any extra fees aside from the freeze fee, and I want all of the extra money that I paid ( the $minus the $9.99+applicable tax) refunded to me, or used as a credit toward future payments to WOWI understand that I am bound to a contract at this pointIf WOW is willing to work these terms out with me I will continue my business with them Regards, [redacted]

The advertised pricing of $9.99/month represents our Basic Membership onlyThis is a very limited membership type and only allows access to the equipment at one locationAfter discussing [redacted] goals, our Fitness Membership type which includes access to all locations and classes is what [redacted] chose to enroll inEach of our membership types vary in access levels and price [redacted] inquired about enrolling on a Basic Membership with a $Enrollment feeThat specific offer had ended on 3/19/2017, the day before [redacted] enrolledTo keep [redacted] as a happy member will make the exception to return her $Enrollment Fee paid on 3/20/or we can extend our Day Cancellation policy to cancel her account and receive a full refund

I have thoroughly investigated our records and on 5/21/ [redacted] was enrolled under a month VIP membership agreement with monthly dues of $ The membership agreement was electronically signed by [redacted] and is not able to be changed or altered in anyway All membership agreements are available on the member's online account immediately following enrollment In addition, a hard copy of the member's agreement is available at anytime upon requestHowever, we do understand [redacted] misunderstood the membership terms & conditions of the agreement she signed We will make an exception to honor the Student Membership offered at the time of her enrollment As of 5/21/our Student Membership was offered as a paid in full option The month Student Membership was billed as a one time payment of $ All memberships billed at $come with a month initial term Currently, [redacted] has paid a total of $towards her WoW membership account Upon receipt of a payment in the amount of $we will cancel [redacted] 's membership on 8/31/ In addition, the owner and operator of WoW, Mary R [redacted] would like to hold an additional month of membership for [redacted] to use when she is home from school!I am the owner's assistant and I will be happy to adjust [redacted] 's account for her If [redacted] would like to make a payment, she may contact me directly at [redacted] during regular business hours

I have looked into this for [redacted] and according to our records, on 6/28/ [redacted] enrolled under a membership with an initial term of 12-months Her membership is not eligible to be canceled until the initial term has been complete We would never withhold information from our members The initial term of [redacted] 's membership is clearly disclosed in several locations on the first page of her agreementHowever, we will take [redacted] 's word that she was not aware of the initial term If [redacted] enrolled under a month-to-month membership during June 2017, she would have been billed for a $+ sales tax Enrollment fee and her Annual Membership Fee of $+ sales tax, on month #of her membership Upon receipt of a payment for the $Enrollment Fee and $Annual Membership Fee, we will make an exception to convert [redacted] 's membership to a month-to-month agreement, allowing her to cancel her membership and waive the remaining initial term of her agreement We hope this helps!We will even go one step further! We apologize to hear of any confusionOur records indicate that [redacted] cancellation request and medical documents were received and processed in August We notified [redacted] that the documentation provided did not qualify him to terminate his membership prior to the initial term being completedBalance notifications are sent in the form of phone calls, emails, and lettersDue to non payment, the account was sent to collections in September The collections agency issues letters and phone calls [redacted] account status was again explained to him in October Even though he was not eligible to cancel, due to [redacted] situation we will make an exceptionAt that time, if he were eligible to cancel prior to the initial term he would have been billed $to cancelWe will accept a payment of $instead of the collections amount of $Please let me know how [redacted] would like to take care of this balance

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:They are providing a wrong and informationI have a letter from ww which was send to me on 1/26/and it clearly says everything is settled and I have $due, then why every year they bring this issue and give to new collection agencyI don't know what is there intention but this is a harassment to me when you are are saying ZERO balance then how come you are giving new stories and giving my name to a collection agencyThis is not acceptable and I need a final written letter from these guys that they will not do this again and my account is closed and I have to pay nothingThis company can't be trustedI mean common company is sending a letter on there paper and after a year they are doing this again? whats going on its all fraud and they are making peoples life miserable instead of providing healthI am sure there doors will be closed soonPLEASE SHOW THIS ATTACHED LETTER TO YOUR ACCOUNTS PEOPLE WHO ARE UNPROFESSIONAL Regards, [redacted] ***
