Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Policy was bought on June 19, 2017...was not to go into effect until July 01, If June 19, is the date the Policy went into effect, why were we denied service when we requested such on July 21, 2017?On July 21, we were told no claims within the 1st month/days of the ContractSHW is playing with two(2) different 'start Dates'One (1) Date puts me at under days (No claims).One (1) Date puts me over days (No full refund).Which one is it? Please see below breakdown of customers refund: Charged Months @ $per Month = $1,291.65; Add Cancellation Fee of $= $1,; Also Less Claims Paid/Owed of $; Subtracted from original payment of $1,625.01; Totals a Refund of $ The customer did speak with someone in our office on 9/15/and they will be receiving a check for $as they waived their cancellation fee after the customer had already received and cashed their refund check (enclosed)This customer had cashed their refund check already which shows that they have accepted the refund amountThe customer will be receiving an additional check for $for the waived cancellation fee which was approved to the customer on 9/15/No additional funds are due at this time

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:As I have been stating to Select Home Warranty by phone and email OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN, that the home inspection was NOT DONE BY ME, but by a third party buyer of my property and I did NOT receive that inspection until the July 21! As soon I got the inspection, I immediately contacted Select within the same weekend, not even waiting business day, but if they are trying to scam their way out of their own terms of their contract to make money, there is not much else I can do other than take legal action against them It is clear both from the buyer's real estate agent, their 3rd party inspector and my own real estate agent's emails (which I already shared with you) that I did not receive their inspection results until July My realtor was even shocked in Select's dishonest business dealings - she said in her years of doing this line of work, she had not come across this.In addition to taking legal action, I also ask Revdex.com to warn other consumers against the dishonest business dealings of this company I've only asked them to repair what I paid for and was part of our contract, nothing more and nothing less, but it is obvious, they don't want to cover any part of their contract terms Guess this is how they make money - collect from the consumer then make a statement to allow them to not do their part! Select Home Warranty is not in breach of contract as we do have an option for customers to secure their own technician if they feel we are not able to locate one fast enough

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: You agreed to fix the issue, but this issue has not been correctedThe companies answer to me was that there is no one available in my areaYou continued to place me in a stand still for months with nothing being doneYou fail to see that this issue has been on going since February and your company has failed to comply with what I have been toldI was told it would be fixed, then there was an issue with the contractorThen another one was to be issued which never got in contact with meThen I was told due to inconvenience I would receive the check for the cost of the repair so I could call my own contractor which never happenedThen I was told to pay for it myself and you would reimburse me thenSeven months later and hours spent getting in contact with your company and nothing being accomplished I don't trust anything you sayI was told something would happen and it didn'tI would have canceled in February had I known this was going to happen this way Regards, [redacted] ***

The customer has been issued a refund directly back to their card as of 2/16/

Select Home Warranty received notice from the customer to cancel their policy and that request is being processed, a check will be mailed on Wednesday 8/26/

The customer has requested to cancel their contractThe customer has been refunded the current months installment which they should be able to confirm with their credit card company within the next 2-business days

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have NOT received a check in the mail for $535, NOR has my credit card received $(which I was never told a cancellation fee would apply either) Select Home Warranty NEVER has assisted with the repairs to the water heater EITHER I would like for them to call me at [redacted] to discuss My last phone conversation with them I had to call and I asked if it was in reference to Revdex.com and they said NO was due to "We call all retention customers" Regards, [redacted]
