A field supervisor was contacted on 12/30/15 concerning the street light repair delay complaint. The underground line was bad and was located under the new sidewalk. A construction crew repaired the bad underground line on 1/4/15. The field supervisor followed up with the customer on 1/5/15 and...

Duke Energy has investigated the customer's complaint and found the customer does have an alert on his credit file,  but it is not a fraud block.  We were able to complete the application process and a deposit will not be required based on our review.    Duke...

Energy contacted the customer, explained the situation with the alert on the credit file that prevented us from performing the credit check.  Informed based on our review, the deposit was waived and the service will be in his name as of 9/27/17, as requested.  He appreciated the call and follow up.  Revdex.com closed based on resolution.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12613179, and find that this resolution is satisfactory only until Feb 14th when they send out a technician to check meter.I spoke to Dukes consumer complaints person on two occasions most recently today 1/29/2018 he was looking back over my monthly bills and compared them to a year ago,and verbalized they have gone up a great deal,but couldn't give me any explanation or any resolution besides sending somebody out to check the meter at my earliest convenience. He also informed me since I'm a renter they wouldn't do a energy analysis to see what is causing this issue. I'm not satisfied with the brush off Duke Energy is trying to do here,so I will keep you updated on my meeting on Feb 14th.Best Regards,Kim [redacted]

Ms. [redacted]'s complaint was reviewed by a power quality and reliability engineer.  There were seven outages reported for this location this year with four outages due to vegetation issues caused by thunderstorms.  There was one outage due to extreme temperature and two...

outages were overhead facilities failures. Confirmation was received that a planned outage was performed on 8/22/16 at 10:14am to repair/replace the damage and failed facilities.  We apologize for the inconvenience these outages have caused and hope that the facility repair resolves the equipment failure issues in your area.Please contact the Customer Contact Center 800-452-2777 at your earliest convenience.  An action item needs to be completed for the above referenced address.

resolved at this time.  I will not know until I see that they use the information I submitted resulting in taking payment from the correct bank account.  I will not know until the end of Jan.  After all I have encountered with these lazy people, I dare not trust until I see that it has been resolved when I consult my bank account.  Sorry, I cannot answer at this time that it has been resolved.
