Not a honest company to purchase products
This was my first time purchasing from Sierra Nevada Pet Company, and the last. Unfortunately the item was opened, not sealed, is an older version of the product, and used. But most of all it's not the same item pictured in their website. When asked for a return option their reply was basically 'too bad'.

Had an issue with a product not working properly, they addressed it and sent over a new one for free.

I ordered medical supplies for my dog on 03/27/2020, It is now June 11 and I have not received the product. I have exchanged multiple emails with the company about this order. It was shipped, according to their website on March 30, 2020. I contacted them on May 15th and 16th and then yesterday. The company had offered to refund my money back in March but also told me that as the item was shipped, it should be here in a week or two. I needed the medicine so rather than start over, I agreed to wait. Well that was in March.When I told the company I would be filing a complaint with my bank if they did not refund immediately. I then received this email: "

Hello,

I've checked and can see your order has already been refunded.

We offered the refund to you earlier, however I'm not sure why you indicated you were going to dispute the payment if we were offering to refund the order.

If the payment is refunded, then if you subsequently dispute it then it would lead to it being refunded twice hence the advice you were given.

For that reason, it's best to work with us so we can refund the order as we offered, disputing the payment would take longer and takes it out of our control.

I am rejecting this response because:

I did receive a refund yesterday. AFTER I filed a complaint. And they are misrepresenting the facts. They did indeed offer a credit but also told me that if I were to wait for the order, it should be here in two weeks, so I chose to wait. They also did not explain, as they have here, the situation regarding disputing payments. Essentially, they are representing themselves inaccurately in their response. However, as stated, I did receive the credit yesterday. I just want it on the record that they did NOT do this before I filed this complaint.

I don't even eant to give them 1 star. I ordered 5 seresto flea collars from them in March and here it is June. I have tried contacting them with no reply or update. I will never order from them again or recomend. Very unsatisfied customer.

Merchant refused to cancel order *** requested on April 28th claiming the order had already been shipped. Today’s date is May 15th, and order has not been received. April 29th, merchant claims order is in transit and cannot be canceled, have not received merchandise. Confirmed with my veterinarian that this product is not genuine as the product is only manufactured in the United States. Merchant is providing fraudulent pet medications and is not a Vet-VIPPS nor does merchant comply with NABP’s for online pharmacies.

Your order was sent on the 14th of April being the first business day following it having been received by us.

Shipping is unfortunately delayed at the moment due to the COVID-19 pandemic as was noted on our site through the large banner at the top when you placed your order.

At the checkout it was indicated that this was an international shipment and that was reflected in the shipping method you selected.

Our address, in Australia is indicated on every page of the site also.

We are a retail pet store and stock flea, tick, worming products along with food, treats, grooming supplies, dog toys, behavioural products etc.

Bracvecto is an item which is available throughout the world and it is made in Austria regardless of where it's sold, that includes the the item sold by your vet:

It is not made in the United States and never has been.

I don't know why your vet would tell you that it is only available and made in the United States.

They are either unaware of the origin of the product they are selling, or they are providing you with incorrect information to try and get you to purchase from them instead of us.

You are welcome to return the order to us once received and we will refund it in full for you.

The tracking is showing it in transit with USPS now after it was handed over to them by DHL:

Your package is moving within the USPS network and is on track to be delivered to its final destination. It is currently in transit to the next facility.

Once received, you can either refuse the shipment and let us know once done so we can refund it, or contact us to have a prepaid return label sent to you.

I am rejecting this response because: The business claims the product is original, however from prior complaints the product is being shipped from China. The business claims the product is manufactured and obtained from an Australian company. I have confirmed that this is false. I have also notified this business that I intend to file a complaint and follow up with the Australian government. I will except a refund and at the businesses cost, a return packaging paid for by the business.

The tracking for your order shows it was shipped from Australia.

We have never, EVER shipped an item from China.

You are welcome to return the order to us to be refunded, that can be done by refusing the shipment when it arrives and letting us know once done or returning to our returns address advised on the packing slip of the order.

I have ordered several times from Sierra pet meds over the last 3 or 4 years. I have had no issue. It does take awhile to come in the mail. That's my only complaint. The meds are genuine and real. I have ordered Revolution for large dogs, advantage for large dogs, milbemax and drontal for cats. I have 10 cats and 2 bunnies. If I was to buy advantage from the vet it would cost me a fortune. I buy the large dog tubes and dose my animals myself according to weight. I can dose 10 cats with 1 dog tube if the cat is under 8.8 lbs. I also buy dog revolution and dose my cats. The vet will not sell revolution unless they examine your cat, a cost of 75 bucks at my vet and likely more at other places... The exchange sucks right now but it is still cheaper than going to my local vet.
I also help ppl with keeping their pets flea free by going to their homes and charging them my cost for the dose compared to the vet cost..

I am extremely with the products that are available. I have several cats and the price for flea meds are so expensive at the vet!! I have paid up to $30 for one dose! They have always worked for me so I will say in my opinion they are real!! Obviously coming from Australia there will be issues with shipping but that is the price you have to pay!! You do get tracking and can keep up with your order. If you have an issue or question Chloe will get back to you within 24 hours. I highly recommend the company and products!!

They absolutely suck...ordered a seresto flea collar on March 27 and still haven't received my collar. No response from company. No updated shipping information...nothing. Fraudulent company, horrible service...bunch of scam artists.

MY REVIEW: Revolution works - no fleas or digestive / ear bugs! I have used it for years. Vet says the Cats are very healthy just like indoor cats. Revolution is expensive buying thru the vet but I can afford it for our barn cats when I buy from Sierra petmeds. They sell it in a vial. It is Easy to measure the dosage and put on cat. Although not as easy as snipping off top of little plastic bottle and squeezing on pet. For me the lower price makes it worth the extra and easy effort. Customer service is excellent. They will quickly get back to you to answer questions about the meds you are buying. Shipping is pretty quick when you consider it is coming from ’down under’.

On January 19th, 2020 I made a purchased from Sierra Pet Meds. A company that claims to be a USA product. About a week after this date I realized my dogs medication still did not arrive so I checked the order status to find a odd tracking number. After research I realized this product was coming from Singapore. Huge red flag, immediately I reached out to PayPal in panic since I could not get in contact with Sierra Pet Meds. Their telephone number was international and emails were not responded to. They said once I get the item I can ship it back because it’s already in transit. Throughout the shipping I kept seeing “returned to customs” and odd markings. I had a terrible feeling. It took WEEKS to arrive! I opened it and immediately you can tell, this is counterfeit dog medication. I did not open the box but I took a great deal of pictures to document what a box here in the US looks like and the box of pet medications that was sent to me. I told PayPal this is counterfeit and they said return it to the following address. Ready for the kicker? The return address was is Australia!!! So I was told this was a USA product, came from Singapore and returning to Australia? That sounds like a scam waiting to happen!! I got to the USPS and to my shock sending this item back was very expensive. I did registered mail and PayPal said they would reimburse me the shipping costs. I uploaded all my information in the dispute center. Now 4 weeks later I check back on my dispute and it was denied by PayPal!! Why? Because the company says they did not get enough proof it’s been shipped back. I have my receipt from the USPS, the tracking history, I have pictures of the items, the envelope it was sent in. I documented this VERY much. I believe this company purposely is wasting time and not accepting this package so I don’t get my money back!! PayPal says we’ll contact the USPS and see why it’s still in transit. No problem I’ll do that but Australia is recovering from a major fire and we are in a global pandemic now! If my purchase was canceled when I first realized this company was scamming people, I wouldn’t be out of my money! Now I need to waste more of my time trying to retrieve my money back!! I’ve wasted HOURS. I pray my problem with this company makes others do more research! Just because they have a PayPal logo does NOT mean they are authentic! And please do research before giving any medication to your fur baby! I’m happy I was able to spot the differences and not put my dogs lives in jeopardy!

But I am disgusted with this company and won’t stop until they change their fraudulent logos and answer to why this dog medication was not legit! AND I want my refund. They need to be prosecuted for their logo and lying to consumers!

Hello,

It is advised throughout our site that the items are shipped from outside the US and this is further indicated at the checkout when you placed the order so I'm not sure why you would be surprised it wasn't sent from with in the US.

All of the items we stock are genuine items, most are labelled for other countries such as Australia and the UK, so again, given we're based in Australia it shouldn't come as a surprise to receive an item not labelled for the US.

As we advised you were welcome to return the item to us to be refunded however as yet it has not been received back.

I can see the tracking number you provided from USPS is not valid, if you would like us to check further into this then please provide a valid tracking reference for the return.

I order from them a year supply of Heartgard for my dogs. And it is not Heartgard but HeartGard This is probably an inferior product too. I really do not appreciate being scammed with showing one product and shipping another

I order Heartgard for my dogs seeing they had the exact same stuff I always used. In it place I was shipped HeartGard. They probabaly get away with it because it is the same name only their brand has a capital G even though they show the brand Heartgard in the product description. Buyer beware I do believe this is a scam company the company has cover with legal wording to cover it up.

I have ordered from Sierra more than once and I received the exact same Heartgard Plus and NexGard that I would have purchased here in Florida. The price was less than half of what I would have paid here and arrived as expected. For any medication, you should never wait until the last minute for yourself or your pets. I always order when I have two months worth left so that I know there won't be a gap. I began to order from them when my vet did not process my prescription, after required exam, for two months and I needed to obtain the Heartgard quickly. I have referred this site to my friends.

I received two products from this company that were faulty. Their website is misleading regarding the products they will actually send you. I have tried multiple times to get ahold of someone with the company about getting a prepaid label to return the products for a full refund. Nobody will contact me back and they do not answer the phone number associated with the company.

Sierra Pet Meds is the only company I will use to get Revolution and Stronghold parasiticides. I’ve been using them for several years now and have received the product quickly and efficiently and at the lowest price I have been able to find anywhere. Their customer service is top notch, especially Chloe, who was outstanding in resolving an issue I had with one of my shipments. I will not buy my cats flea and tick products anywhere else!

Excellent place to get pet medications extremely good pricing exactly the same medication, for half the price, you just need a little patience because it has to come from Australia, or germany. Thank you very much we'll continue to purchase our pet meds from you.

My vet retired and I was surprised at the prices of flea medication. I searched the Internet for just the right site, and I found it with Sierra Pet Meds. It was so easy to make my purchases. Since it was my first purchase on the site, I became a little anxious when only part of my order arrived. I wrote to Sierra Pet Meds, and Chloe responded right away. She tracked my package for me. She let me know right where it was. I will definitely be using Sierra Pet Meds again and again. I have many rescues that have many needs. Thanks again Chloe for helping me with my order and showing that you care.

I absolutely love this cstorecompany. I have more than a few animal's and a place like this is great for an animal owner to purchase pet meds without the hassle and $$ of going to the Vet and pay for a visit to get a perscription. I've never had issue's with receiving my product or with using my credit card. I've been spreading the word about this place now for year's. And a little side note, NEVER give a dog heartworm preventative that has not been tested first. You will kill your dog.
