What they are claiming is false!  At no time ever during our conversations was there any effort on their part to try and resolve any issue. I was told that I would have to pay for restocking and for delivery back to their warehouse, which is exactly what I am disputing.  They claim that all conversations are recorded and that they listened to my conversations and that I was never given the measurements by a rep there and that is also false.  I was asked to measure the sectional and provide pictures, which I did.  The couch measured exactly 139 inches.  When I was trying to explain this to them, the rep told me that the website states that the sectional was 148 inches, which is an 9 inch difference and I was told that they would not do anything over 9 inches!!!!!  Maybe they should listen to that recorded conversation.   The point I am trying to make is that a rep gave me the wrong measurements prior to me ordering AS WELL AS someone who claimed to be a manager did after the sectional was in my home.   Either way, the sectional measures 139 inches and its neither what the rep said it was or what the schematics lists.  So for that reason, I do not feel as though I should be charged anything. This company is not what they claim to be at all. they could care less about the customer once the piece is paid for. They have no idea what customer service is and should realize that especially in an online business, word of mouth is EVERYTHING!

[redacted]Coleman Furniture is attempting to resolve this issue with the customer.  As the packaging was not retained we are unable to submit a claim to the freight carrier for the damaged item.  However, as a good will gesture to resolve this we have asked the customer to donate the items...

to a charity of their choice and we will send replacements for them.  A customer service manager has made herself readily available to the customer and provided her direct number so the customer can reach out to us in an effort to get this resolved. Sharon M[redacted]Coleman Furniture

[redacted]The initial delivery could not be completed as the sofa did not fit up the stair cases that customer had in building. We have since resolved the issue (7-**-15), and customer should now have the sofa issue completed.Sharon M[redacted]Coleman Furniture

This is a lie I have the emails from the company saved. I received partial shipment of the items I was promised in dec 2016, which can be tracked as delivered in December  since then I have been contacting the company in regards to the missing items I was promised back in December. This was prior to the warranty expiring. Coleman furniture and Melissa H[redacted] has since then decided it is ok to ignore calls and emails from me  I finally received an email response from Melissa H[redacted] the middle of February telling me the warranty is now expired. I have been sending her emails daily explaining that it is not my error, I have been coresponding with them since December to receive the products promised to me only to be ignored. I have not heard from Melissa H[redacted] or Coleman furniture since this correspondence, they think it is ok to ignore customers concerns. I was promised replacement cushion covers for the entire sectional and I only received one part in December 2016. I want the other cushion covers that were promised to me. I have saved proof of all correspondence with Coleman furniture and Melissa H[redacted] including every unanswered email that was sent.

 I called multiple times in various days and times via the 1800 number and via direct number to Felice C[redacted].I still don't have a clear date of when the rest of the rom set ( the ones that are not damaged) can be delivered.Business is yet to set clear expectations as to when the order will be fulfilled

 No this has happened twice I truly think I would never have gotten any furniture at all I want the cancellation fee back . I think it's funny this company never tried to contact me after I made a Revdex.com complaint horrible customer service that's for sure . I do not want to wait another two months for furniture so that's why I canceled I want my cancellation fee back . This company is a complete scam

This is the same response as the first time and the same answer from me, I will not accept any other resolution than a full credit from Coleman Furniture because, as a consumer with rights, I will not give them one single cent of my hard earned money. As I also said before, I have already filed a claim with my bank and received a credit on the transaction so they need to resolve this with the Revdex.com and my bank and as far as I'm concerned I'm done with them. I don't see any reason to come back to me with any more of their BS responses, their service and people are deplorable and rude and they did not fulfill there end of our sales agreement, end of story.

[redacted]Coleman Furniture understands that the customer is upset regarding the delay in having their order delivered.  We do not guarantee a delivery date for our customers.  One of the customers item did not pass the initial inspection process before delivery and as such a replacement...

part was ordered for the customer.  The customer chose not to wait for the part to arrive and delivery to be scheduled.  As the customers order could be fulfilled we advised the customer that if they cancelled their order there were fees that are assessed.  The items are ready for delivery and can be delivered to the customer if she chooses to accept delivery.Sharon M[redacted]Coleman Furniture

There moving company left a full size mattress on a queen frame. They never called me to verify. The mattress should have stayed on the truck.

I, again, must disagree that the issues I am referring to are considered a customer preference and not poor company standards that the sofa was assembled with such disregard for manufacturing a quality piece of furniture.  Pictures do not really do the looks of the sofa justice.  It would have been nice to find that Ashley would stand behind their product and at the very least have sent someone out to look at the furniture to confirm that, when assembled, it was done improperly.  Which is evident in the tilting seat backs and staples sticking out.
My biggest regret with this furniture is that I did not see how poorly it was assembled when delivered.  I had waited for delivery for 2 months - part of which time I was dealing with damages to the furniture before it was even delivered to me that needed to be repaired, so my main concern when delivered was that the damage had been repaired - never thinking that I should check on assembly and tilted seat backs!  Very disappointed in how Coleman Furniture as the seller and Ashley Furniture as the manufacturer stand behind their product.

At this time I will retain legal counsel, does that statement look familiar from the original and first complaint that I filed with the Better Biainess Bureau? This is the same statement that was released from them before they sent the same original damaged merchandise  the second time. I will not put the cart before the horse a third time. I have called this business over six times and I have sent numerous emails after the second delivery. Melissa H[redacted] is screening my calls, I've left voicemails and she has not returned my call to this date, I will not beg this company to deliver brand new undamaged furniture that they have already been paid for in full.

They said a technician would come out last week or this week to repair the furniture but no one has yet to contact me regarding a repair. They have yet to refund my credit card $500. They are simply waiting for me to say that the issue has been resolved and then they will continue to avoid my calls and emails like they have been doing for the last 3 months. I will claim the issue resolved once the furniture is repaired and my card is refunded. I am preparing to take this company to small claims court if this is not resolved this week.

[redacted]Coleman Furniture has diligently tried t work with this customer.  However, there are no actual issues with this furniture and all issues are a matter of customer preference.Manufacturer standards means that the item is as advertised intended per the manufacturer description as provided by the manufacturer and listed on our website.It also means the item is free of any defects or damages caused by the delivery company during delivery.Coleman Furniture, as an online retailer does not have any warehouses.  We work with multiple delivery partners across the country and contract local deliveries to our customers through them.Coleman Furniture has addressed all issues that the customers items were delivered with, however we can not continue to address additional issues that the customer finds as these were not noted or present at time of delivery.  The customers items are leather, and as such will have all the characteristics associated with it, such as wrinkles.  As leather is made from animal hide and not a manufactured product there will always be slight variations in the texture of each separate piece as different hides are used.  However, all dye lots are identical and items are the same color/ polishing match.Coleman Furniture already refunded the customer $75.00 for the compensation for the issues the customer had and as as gesture of good will and in an effort to resolve the issue for the customer we would refund an additional $75.00.  However, as the item is at 100% manufacturer standards and there are no additional repairs or restorations to address we would not alter the item from how the manufacturer intended.  Sharon M[redacted]

offer.  We have also advised customer that we will send a technician to his home to address any and all issues and customer does not want that to happen either.  Customer is refusing to work with us and only wants the item returned for full credit. As items have shipped, we would like to have issues resolved, and have delivery take place - as well as offer additional compensation.
