 My Issue I had with Coleman they had not one but 2 errors going on with my order. First they damaged my table and chair they had to replace the table and my table legs.  Then come to find out they ordered the WRONG Legs which means I still have to wait. When my parts should have been ordered right the first time.  This is the  reason why I have been so frustrated with Coleman. However,Thank you, [redacted] for resolving my concern please have Coleman contact me immediately once my parts have been received.

The amount of compensation offered (first $25 now $50) is insufficient due to the fact that my out of pocket expenses alone in dealing with this mess equal $135. $100 for half a days lost wages for a second time window to retrieve the defective drawers, $20 spent on drawer handles so the bed could be used while I wait for the matching replacement handles to arrive, (so far nearly 3 weeks and still did not receive them as of 6/**), and $15 for my trash hauler to remove the tons of packaging materials the second set of (handleless) drawers came in. The balance of what I am requesting is to compensate me for the fact that after all this time spent repeatedly calling, emailing, and awaiting replacement drawers, I am still left with a DEFECTIVE product as the second set of drawers they sent me also do not close completely!! I currently find myself in the same situation as the first day the bed was delivered nearly two months ago, only now the ill fitting drawers are also missing the handles.  After reading many negative customer reviews about this company (too late) I  believe they sell factory seconds to unsuspecting customers and hope no one complains about the poor quality or are deterred from returning the defective merchandise by the excessive restocking fees they charge. Bottom line, a storage bed is purchased with a specific purpose in mind and if the drawers do not fit and function properly, the piece of furniture is not meeting it's intended purpose. My request for a refund in the amount of $300 stands.

The estimate for delivery of the major portion of my order (worth $3200 aprox out of $3583 of total order) to my home is still unknown. They did not called and informed me. I called them today after seeing the response from Revdex.com and the latest estimate for the delivery of my order they gave is 2 weeks to end of this month. I request you to please help me get a final delivery date for my rest of the order. Every week they keep extending the delivery date by 1-2 more weeks. I am not at all sure when it would be delivered. Also I request them to deliver all the pieces unlike the last delivery and in good shape. 2. Coleman Furniture did informed me regarding the missing parts for TV console. But they did not provide me any [redacted] tracking number or estimate on when it should be delivered to my address. called us the day after delivery and advised that he was missing the hardware for the mirror installation.  We advised the customer we could send the hardware to him and compensate him $75.00 to install the mirror himself.  At that time we were not advised of any other damages that he had found.  As no damages were found at the time of delivery and were only brought to our attention weeks later we are unable to address those issues.  As a courtesy we have offered to compensate him a total of $125.00.Sharon M[redacted]Coleman Furniture

[redacted] Coleman Furniture attempted a delivery of the customers items on April *, 2016.  At that time thew customer refused the item stating that the item was damaged.  The item was returned to the delivery company where it was restored to 100% manufacturer specifications.  Per the terms and conditions that customers must agree to before they place their order: If a product is found to have damage, and damage is noted on the delivery receipt; we will send a the necessary parts and correct the problem at our expense. Remedies may include, but not limited to repair by a professional furniture repair technician, part replacements, both repair and part replacements, or a full unit replacement, all at no cost to the customer.Customer agrees to allow Coleman Furniture, the manufacturer, and/or our shipping agents the opportunity to remedy the damage or defect issue. Customer agrees to accept the remedy selected by Coleman Furniture, the manufacturer or the Coleman Furniture shipping agent.If customer does not allow Coleman Furniture to send a replacement or repair it and would rather cancel the order then let us remedy the problem, customer will be required to pay a 25% restocking fee and actual shipping charges.The item was fully restored to manufacturer specifications and customer will not accept delivery. Sharon M[redacted]Coleman Furniture

I was sent an email stating before the end of the week, I would receive a phone call scheduling delivery. I have heard nothing from anyone in the company, much less had anyone schedule anything. As you can see, my living room is a sore spot to look at. I've had to look at this since November when they first brought the pieces that had been repaired from some other persons delivery. Customer service has pretty much been unsympathetic that our holidays were spent with this mess. At this point I do not trust anything this company states and am unwilling to call this issue resolved, until it actually is.

 The furniture is defective and the defect was not visible at the time of delivery. It was only when an attempt was made to straighten it that the defect (the bracing) gave away. The shipping fee the business is trying to charge is not reasonable it is more than 33% of the cost of the desk! The representative from the company indicated the desk was beng replaced by the manufacturer so the business is absorbing NO cost. So the response from the business is factually false. Again I did not agree to purchase a defective product and either the furniture company or the manufacturer should be paying all costs related to the defective desk.

The drop down drawers are still broken and don't work as designed and they falsely described their product in their advertisement. We have contacted them multiple times and told them we were not satisfied so I am unsure why they are saying that they resolved the problem. In addition we have tried multiple times to give their product a bad review on their site however their site will not post it. This just shows you how deceptive they are. Coleman's statement is not true. I did retain the boxes and labels as requested. Pictures where forwarded. I also donated the damaged furniture to Goodwill and the receipt was forwarded to Coleman, customer service (Lori C[redacted] and Arele Ei[redacted] and they never responded. Coleman never intended to do good on the furniture replacements. I was only advised by customer support (Lori C[redacted]) to withd[redacted] all claims first. I was strongly advised by [redacted] Payments not to proceed with the withd[redacted] since it was not the way to go about it. I finally got a refund from [redacted] and Im very thankful for that. Coleman would have never sent replacements and would have kept my money. This business should be investigated and/or fined. I have put complaints with various institutions in order to prevent Coleman Furniture from trying to do business this way.

I am being forced to decide between keeping two broken/defective pieces and having no further costs or paying $130 and receiving 1 of 2 corrected pieces.  Coleman's point that I should have written down my issues at delivery is absurd as it's an internal defect, which was verified by the repairmen the they hired. In a perfect world I would get my money refunded and they can have the couch, but being more realistic the least the company could do is not charge me for the replacement of a defective/broken couch.

I am fully aware that the furniture had a "white washed" appearance. That does not mean that the "white splatter marks" (previously mentioned) are not cause to call the furniture defective or damaged. The "white splatter marks" were very obvious and did not appear to be "as the manufacturer intended." In addition, as was apparent in the pictures I emailed to the business, there were obvious black marks on all of the pieces, obvious wood splintering on the backs of several pieces, and the above "white splatter marks." I do not understand how the this business can look at those pictures and say that the furniture was not damaged. Additionally, I had stated several times to representatives of this company regarding the details of my complaint and the damaged were clearly evident in the pictures I took. The 3rd party furniture delivery person even told us that the furniture was defective and did not look appropriate. I have asked the business several times for this delivery person's report and they have failed to give it to me.Regardless of what the manufacturer states, the furniture appeared to be damaged/defective and at the very least displayed "poor workmanship." From a brand like [redacted], we were expecting much higher quality standards. Coleman Furniture does not value their consumers and only goes by what the manufacturer states. As previously stated multiple times on Revdex.com and to the business itself, there is no resolution to this issue, other than a FULL refund. I am not willing to accept a "rebill" and shipment of the same furniture I already denied. Thank you

How can Coleman Furniture think the product was properly described when their meaning for Select Hardwood is not what a reasonable consumer would think?  How was I supposed to know what their definition was?  There is not glossary of terms on the website where I could have found out that information.  I made an assumption that the word hardwood meant solid hardwood and not pulverized hardwood that is mixed with adhesives and formed into a shape.  That is an assumption I am sure all consumers who are not part of the furniture industry would make and an assumption Coleman Furniture was counting onFurthermore, if Coleman Furniture feels that manufactured wood has so many benefits then why not just label the table and chairs as “manufactured wood and veneers”?  It is because consumers will not pay as much for as much for manufactured wood furniture and have come to associate furniture made with manufactured wood as being low quality.  Coleman Furniture purposefully used a confusing term in order to deceive me into making an incorrect assumption that the furniture is made of solid hardwood covered by veneers.  This is why I feel I deserve a full refund.  It does not matter that manufactured wood has the benefits claimed by Coleman Furniture.  It only matters that the product description intentionally made me assume I was going to receive a different product than what I actually received.I do not want a $50 refund for a $2,000+ purchase.  I want a full refund and the product description to be changed on the website since it has now been brought to Coleman Furniture’s attention that the term “Select Hardwood” is extremely deceiving.
