While SIEA appreciates [redacted] feedback, we maintain our decision and decline his request for a fee waiver.  His PlayStation was purchased used and does not qualify for warranty service.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Originally Sony tells me it is impossible to change a user name. I abondon my acct which is a premium acct that costs money to replace the Playstation Plus accts. Now all the sudden they offer to change my name after I have created a new acct and financially locked myself into my new account by purchasing games... which they now tell me are impossi le to transfer.
How about Sony just credits my acct for a new Plus (just the remaining time on my old acct) acct to balance out the mess they created by insisting something that was possible, impossible.

You all see it for yourself. I purchased a service from Sony and they refuse to even tell me what I actually purchased. Either they are hiding something or just being jerks. At this point I don't even know if they did anything but reload the software on the PS4, which was corrupt from a faulty firmware upgrade they pushed out.
There is a thing called discovery that takes place in a lawsuit. You will turn over the requested documentation. If not I will file suite against you for fraud and/or theft. Once I receive the documentation on what was wrong with the PS4 I will reach out to all the others with the same issue after the firmware update and bring a class action suite against Sony.
All you have to do is the right thing and tell me, the customer what was wrong with MY property that I PAID YOU to repair. In any other industry the repair facility communicates to the customer on what was wrong with their property and what was required to repair it. I am appalled that a company the size of Sony would practice business this way.
Once again I am demanding that you supply me with the repair order for my PS4 or I will file suit against you. Small claims, no Attorney needed and I am very familiar with the RFI process during discovery. I will get the requested document. Question is what will happen when I get it.
This matter is not closed and the complaint is not resolved!

I did receive a call from Sony with an explanation of what they did to repair the PS4 console. I appreciate them informing me of what I actually paid for during an out of warranty service and repair order.
I stand by my opinion that consumers have the right to know what they are purchasing. Hopefully in the future Sony and other companies opposing similarly will put additional focus on customer satisfaction during after the sale interactions.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I do not own the product, I do not want the product, it will not be what I expected so I want my money back. I no longer what to do business with Sony if this is not handled and will go to their competitor and use local businesses as Microsoft, Nintendo, Steam, and any other gaming company has no issue refunding pre-orders. If my money is not refunded by them then I will file a chargeback and if banned will see what legal action can be taken.Sincerely,[redacted]
