Thank you for your response, I do not accept the response of SCEA.
This is unacceptable, the response provided has no solution or where about this issue will be fixed. The broken chat functionality has been an issue since the delivery of the PS4 to the public. This is a broken feature, will this be fixed or not? I need some type of progress update. I spent way to much money on this product and still paying use it on their network and buy accessories for it. I have been a loyal customer to the Playstation community since their first release. Please do not close this matter, I would hate to leave the sony community if this is not addressed properly.

SCEA, LLC will not be able...

to fulfill the consumer's request. A service fee is required.

The service fee is not the issue. The problem is that Sony refuses to tell me what they think is wrong with the machine and more importantly that if the same issue happens again after they "fix" it I would have to pay another service fee after only 90 days. I just want assurance from Sony that if I send it in for repair and the exact same issue occurs again after 90 days that they will fix it without making me pay another 150 dollars.
If the same issue occurs again after they have "fixed" it then they didn't really fix it in the first place.
Sony doesn't have the right to keep making the customer pay to fix for the same issue when it is mechanical and not the consumer's fault. If they think they do then clearly they are not a company I should be giving my money too.

PlayStation services our game consoles using genuine replacement parts installed by certified PlayStation repair technicians. The service warranty is ninety days after service. After expiration, just like the original equipment manufacturer's warranty, there is a fee for service.

Clearly Sony doesn't care about its customers any longer, so I will stop caring about them. There are other systems on the market with better customer service so I will give them my money instead. I have been with the Playstation brand for fifteen years and would have been with them for fifteen more, but it is time to go with a company that cares. I will make sure to tell all my friends to do the same. When you have a faulty machine and you expect the customer to pay almost half of the price of the console to fix it, you deserve more then a 90 days warranty if the exact same problem happens again. It's not fixed if it breaks ninety days later; that's putting a bandaid on it. Furthermore the fact that Sony wont tell me what the problem with the console is or how they intend to fix it seems very suspect. I'm excited to buy my Xbox One and tell all my friends to do the same.
