Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The respondent stated, " [redacted] attachment is unrelated to the complaint we discussed His request for a refund for digital content purchased in is denied as stated in our PlayStation Network Terms of Service; all sales are final." If the respondent carefully reviewed my response, he will see that I mentioned that the material that I included in my response was titled, "For historical purposes." I was using this as a reference, so his response is unrelated It is clear that the respondent doesn't understand this type of text The purpose of my response was to point out that the respondent's statement, "Please note that this response is not an admission," is clearly an example of how Sony is not taking ownership of their problems Also, the respondent stated, " [redacted] attachment is unrelated to the complaint we discussed." In the respondent's initial response to this complaint, he never mentioned what we discussed There isn't any proof of what we discussed, so his statement can not be substantiated The respondent also needs to realize that he is communicating with a seasoned legal professional that wouldn't hesitate to file a small claims case in my state's magistrate court system because Sony is registered with my state's Secretary of State's Office as being a corporation in this state My main concern with this complaint is Sony's customer service when dealing with this issues A CEO that will not respond or delegate his email complaints, customer service reps that hang up on customers and other issues such as data breaches that compromised customers personal information Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: they acknowledge that there were issues with the PPVThere were delays, outages, and thousands were unable to watch the eventIt was widely reported by the news mediaWhile other companies have acknowledged this and started offering refunds to those that were unable to view the event, PlayStation refuses to offer a refundInstead, they're claiming the problems were not their faultHowever, I still paid $for a PPV I was unable to watch due to streaming issuesTheir wording seems to stress the word "delayed" but for many (including me) it was not merely delayed but inaccessibleI'm not upset that I had to watch it late; I'm upset that I didn't get to watch it at allA representative did contact me directly in response to this complaint, but did not offer any sort of resolutionThey only emailed me to refuse my request of refundThey have done nothing to alleviate the problem or make up for the fact that I lost $and DID NOT RECEIVE THE STREAM I PAID FORI reject their letter, and still seek compensation for my lossThis should be a simple refundTheir absolute refusal to do the right thing is shocking—especially while they admit to mass technical problemsIf I pay for something, I should receive itIf I don't, then they shouldn't get to keep my moneyThis is ridiculous Sincerely, [redacted]

May 1, Re: Case No [redacted] Consumer: [redacted] Thank you for contacting Sony Interactive Entertainment of America, LLC (SIEA) regarding the above-reference Revdex.com case# [redacted] SIEA contacted the consumer and further explained why the decision was made as it was May 3, 2017: [redacted] has contradicting stories about the PlayStation® Plus voucher Initially he stated that he had purchased a year PS+ membershipHe mentioned that he did try to sell it on ebay but then the seller canceled the transaction and wanted to know if he can file a fraud report Later he Chatted that the code was a gift and that he did not need the code because he no longer had a console In regards to a fraud case he would need to consult with ebay The confusing part is the fact that he fist said he had purchased the voucher and then tried to sell it on ebayBut then he came back on another Chat conversation and said it was a gift and did not have a console So why is there such a contradiction and why would he purchase the voucher when he didn't have a console?
