Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This is not what happened You wait like months to respond to this Revdex.com complaint and then come back with a story What actually happened is you started replacing parts for a very high price telling me that Dodge requires you to do it that way and that they are paying for it Then when Dodge renigs, you still want to charge me for wasted "repairs" that I told you before you did it were a total waste of money (you shouldn't be replacing parts for diagnosis anyway, IMO) You required me to pay in order to get my truck out and said my recourse was against Dodge It was all very flaky and my credit card company sided with me immediately Now you should try not to wait another months before responding to this complaint response Regards, [redacted]

I was not aware that Chrysler had invited customer to have inspection at another authorized dealerWe are happy to work with Mr [redacted] and will inspect and perform a repair for a verifiable failed conditionAfter driven miles over a day time period, the manufacturers rental authorization exceeded the time allotted to duplicate the concernMr [redacted] is correct in the statement that with battery replacement the diagnostic codes are lost and would require reactivation to continue diagnostic

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Yet again, there seems to be some type of misunderstandingI was informed while I was there to show proof that the vehicle was paid off, I emailed the pay off letter I receivedThis whole process is unprofessional, and it's quite discouraging, I opened this complaint because I have received letters from a total of creditors my credit was ran too! That dropped my score EVEN more, that's an unethical practice called "Shot gunning" I want every single inquiry removed because I was mislead, and had my time wasted for a total of daysI've never dealt with such unprofessional individualsIt's all about customer satisfaction at the end of the day Regards, [redacted]

We apologize for the misunderstanding, however we have offered to trade him out of the truck he purchased and give him FULL amount that he paid for it as trade value toward the purchase of the truck he is requestingHowever, there is a substantial difference in the price of the truck that he purchased and the truck that he wants Mr [redacted] is refusing to pay the difference

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Attached is a copy of the complaint information and letters sent to South Point Dodge Austin TX, Ray Huffins Dodge Plano TX, FCA Corporation, the Revdex.com Dallas and the US EPAAs you will see in the attachments I have made several efforts to have the proper repairs to my Ram 4XChassis Cab at both Ray Huffins Dodge in Plano TX and South Point Dodge in Austin TXThe issues with my truck are related to the federally required emissions that is operated by the diesel exhause fluid (DEF) system that is suppose to make the truck compliant with federal emissions out putNot only is then DEF system required by federal law to run and perform according to the guidelines but it is also illegal for the consumer to remove or mess with other than replacing then fluid as neededIf the DEF system is not working properly the computer makes the truck to go into limp mode where it will not go over miles per hours and is incapable of continuing to pull any trailers that may be attached at the time it goes into limp modeAs a result of the continued failure of the DEF system I have been stranded at least times and have had to tow the vehicle to South Point Dodge on occasionsBecause the truck was purchased for our volunteer service and our clients are all disabled including myself the failure of the DEF system and the refusal of the dealers and manufacture has caused a safety issue with the operation of the vehicle with the last time in use I was stranded more than a miles from home with several disabled veterans in the sweltering heat posing health and safety issues that just be allowed to happen Despite numerous attempts to have the issues resolved with Ray Huffins Dodge in Plano, South Point Dodge in Austin and the manufacture we have not been able to have the proper repairsBoth the dealers and manufacture would have you believe that all of the problems are related to a one time water in the fuel light that came on around 08-15-while traveling to Dallas to move our last remaining personal belongings from our Allen house we soldHowever as you will see in the attached documents that after the 08-15-visit to the dealer my truck has been in the shop several more times and there is no findings of a error code or warning light for water in the fuelWhy you might askThat's because I did not have for the dealer to drop the tank and clean itAs recommended by the dealer I lowered the fuel tank and empted it and flushed with fresh fuel I then took it to South Point dodge and had the fuel filters changed as a percausionAfterwards the warning light and error codes related to the water in fuel did not and has not been documented by either dealerYet they continue to refuse to make the appropriate repairs of which none are related to the initial water in fuel LightTo date my truck remains at South Point Dodge in Austin and the dealer and manufacture are continuing to refuse to make the appropriate repairs under the manufacture or Federal emission warranteeTherefore we are asking for your assistance in stopping the dealers and manufactures act of bad faith and fair dealingBecause of the excessive hardship and the refusal to make the proper repairs not just once , twice or even three different time its more like different trips to the dealer where it remains to this day unrepairedSo at this point the only reasonable action would be a forced buy back so that we can move on and purchase a proper replacement that will not continue to leave me my family and our disabled veterans we serviceThank Yo in advice for your help to resolve these issues Regards, [redacted]

My Chrysler has been in for the same repair times since April of when it was purchased new from this dealer and the problem has never been fixed The problem involves all gauges, navigating system, entertainment system, and backup camera going dead at once When I took the car in on Tuesday 10/06/I was told the best they could do is give me an appointment to look at it weeks from now This service department is terrible, leaving the customers with cars too dangerous or unable to drive with no resource

The customer didn't buy from us because thew vehicle we were trying to get he already opened negotiations with COVERT and so they rrejected the vehicle to bwe traded rto us sine he already was talking to them so they can sell it to him The deal was a true loser deal and showed him all evidence but he didn't believe us.the deal was reversed and we lost our Chrysler money because of him not buying

We were not able to get the new vehicle financed as customer's income was not able to be provenWhat she listed that she made every month was not proven through bank statements or any type of payroll checkThe bank sent us back the contract, we did not have a cashable contract at that pointWe appraised her "trade" at $We cut a check for $to Title Max on 8/to payoff her loan and we sent her an equity check for $

I appreciate Mr[redacted] bringing his concerns to our attention.I understand and share his frustration in the length of time it has taken to obtain replacement partsDue to the age of the Jeep Wrangler, many components are no longer manufacturedObtaining replacements takes additional time for Jeep parts expediters to locate and receive from suppliers.Our adviser has been in regular contact to inform Mr [redacted] of repair and parts statusAs Mr [redacted] was informed during diagnostic inspection, the wiring harness was in a very deteriorated condition with exposed wiringThis condition shorted some wiring and consequentially damaged the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) circuitsAfter all efforts to locate a replacement harness were exhausted and it was no longer available, the wiring harness was removed and the harness was rebuiltThe PCM was on a National Back Order and also added to the time delayThe alternator failure could not be diagnosed until the vehicle could be started after wiring was repaired and the PCM replacementSouth Point has provided Mr [redacted] with complimentary transportation during the final phase of repairsWe are also installing a radio, that he has supplied, at no labor charge and providing the installation kit also at no charge.As the circumstances and time delays are beyond our control we respectfully decline additional monetary adjustment [redacted] South Point Auto Group

We apologize for the frustration you had with the repair of your Jeep Grand Cherokee It appears that we failed to properly communicate on several levels during the course of your repairs We will use this experience to better train our staff on the verbiage to use in regards to diagnosis on warranty repairs It does appear from your history that the vehicle was indeed repaired at no cost to you, under manufacturer warranty We do appreciate your business, and look forward to helping you in the future

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, The business is still being untruthful about the circumstances, I had contacted three Busineses about the Jeep in question and decided to try Southpoint first, I have copies of talks and names of the ones that made me promises they knew they could not deliver, they promised me that the Jeep I wanted was there and ready to be purchased, and when I agreed to stop in they gave me excuses and pressured me into waiting 3-days for delivery and after 5-days I went elsewhereI did not Make any deal with Covert to buy the car I bought until the deadline of days passed and I was fed up with the lyingI found through other sources that this same dealership reneged on a deal with a lady on promises they made Her she asked for Her deposit of 15K they first refused to return it until other outside sources stepped in so, my situation with them probably is a standard procedure and there are probably others met with the same process .I'm gathering from the reply from Southpoint and looking all the misspelled words and type-O's there appear to be a lacking in IQ to some degreeIn closing I contacted Southpoint to buy a Renegade, their Repassured me the one I wanted was there and told me to come and check it out, I responded that If I came in, that day would I be driving the Jeep I wanted out that day and their response was a yes, come in and deal today, it didn't happenSouthpoint owes me 1K deposit for non delivery as promised and that amount is what I wantIf my deposit is not returned to me within the next days my next stop is the Texas Attorney Generals Office and I plan on contacting Chrysler itself concerning the liars at SPD [redacted] ,

Ms [redacted] and her son brought their vehicle to our repair facility, after further review of the vehicle, Dodge (the manufacturer) agreed to take care of the cost for replacing the transmissionWe did this repair at no cost to the customerThe only repair the customer paid for was basic maintenance that they authorized.A couple weeks after the major repair was done, the son and his girlfriend came back to the dealership to advise that the car was still giving them problemsAt this point, we were going to take the car back to see if there was something still wrong with it, and give them something to drive while we did that.The customers were not able to provide a Driver's license so we could not offer them a loanerAt this point, the customers got extremely loud in the dealershipThey were cussing in front of our other customers and even screamed violent threats at a manager hereWe called the police to have them escorted out of the dealershipThere were numerous witnesses here, their behavior was explosive and threatening.We pressed trespassing charges on them to protect our employees and customers

After reviewing the complaint and the vehicle history we are unable to verify the condition of the bumper and mirrors when the vehicle was brought in We rarely spend a large amount of time testing all of the systems on a vehicle to verify if they are working properly or not The amount of time that would take would be very inefficient for our customers and our staff I am aware of the support we gave the customer to get his engine replaced at no charge under warranty, when the evidence of severe overheating was overwhelming, and the suspected failed components were not covered by his powertrain warranty The evidence pointed to not only a failed thermostat that was only covered for months or miles, but also that the vehicle had been driven for an extended period of time with this condition which led to severe damage to the engine South Point Dodge worked diligently to insure the engine could be covered by Chrysler when they had declined the claim numerous times.I am willing to work with Mr [redacted] to repair his concerns at a discounted rate due to his recent engine replacement, but I am quite sure that the systems he is having issues with are totally unrelated to the engine and cooling system items we replaced for him free of charge

I'm sorry you feel like we haven't done everything in our Power to obtain a loan for youI have attached a copy of your credit application that was signed by you that gives us permission so submit your credit to obtain a loan and the number of banks clicked depends on the accuracy of the customers information and again the lender stated the open vehicle on your credit is joint and because thew other person is not on this loan you are required to trade that vehicle and you stated it was paid for and yet they haven't received proof of payoff so they required a trade to obtain the loan since the credit was very weak.We have tried to help you in every way and have followed all procedures to the TYou have a great day and good luck

I certainly understand the frustration Mr [redacted] must have, however, Mr [redacted] did not test drive a truck with a Aisin transmission and told our staff he wanted a truck exactly like the one he test drove only in another color so that is what we sold himThe truck that Mr [redacted] is asking for is $10k more and he was extremely concerned about monthly paymentWe extended his loan terms to the maximum length that is offered just to hit his paymentThere is no way that we would have even come close to his wishes to stay at that payment with the upgraded transmissionWe have offered to trade him out of the vehicle
