South Point Dodge was very happy to work with Mr*** and help him get the vehicle he wantedWhen we sent his contract to the bank, the bank screened it and found that customer was using multiple social security numbers.
We sent a sales person to his house to get copies of all of
his identifications to hopefully solve the issue and make it right for the bank The sales person asked Mr*** to go to the Social Security office and get something in writing stating that was indeed his social and the only one he was using, the customer never did this. Once this happened, our contract was null and voidEveryone here has told Mr*** this and he does not understand this has absolutely nothing to do w/ usWe wanted to sell him a car, there would be absolutely no reason we would notUnfortunately, we did not have a cashable contract and had to try to reach Mr*** to bring the car back, when we could not reach him we then repossessed the vehicle
I have attached the letter from the bank stating the were not able to consider the contract any further

Ms *** did not say anything at time of delivery about any damage on her vehicleWe do a walk around on the vehicle w/ every customer and perform a delivery checklist It was not until a week later she claimed that there was damage to the bumpersThe dealership took the vehicle out of good
faith and had the repairs doneShe took the vehicle, we did another walk around, everything was fine, then we started to get more calls from her that other damages were there and asking us to fix them After numerous times of fixing things on this vehicle and waxing it more than once, she then asked for $to have the repairs done at a body shop where she worksShe also has threatened if we don't pay her, she will destroy us on social media. We go to far extents to keep our customers satisfied, we feel we went above and beyond for Ms***

Last inspection of vehicle was on July South Point is happy to inspect the vehicle for current condition to evaluate repair needs and how to best proceed

Response: We understand the frustration felt by customers when they believe the manufacturer is going to extend assistance, but then has to decline assistance until the dealer has performed the prescribed diagnostic steps. In many cases the manufacturer will have us perform basic maintenance
(if the customer has not performed it) to insure that everything is up-to-date before they will give assistance. This was definitely the case here. Once basic required maintenance is performed, we then asked for authorization to tear down the engine to access the problem. If the customer authorizes this step, it is possible at that point Chrysler would have honored assistance if it was determined that the engine was in otherwise excellent shape, and just in need of specific parts to bring it back to good. Authorization for tear down is required to insure if other damage from lack of maintenance or abuse is uncovered, the dealership and technician will be paid for their time. Since teardown was not authorized, Chrysler declined to participate further, and the charges were for maintenance and is a requirement to maintain in eligibility for warranty or goodwill repairs. We advocate for our customers to the best of our ability, but we are unwilling to misrepresent or disregard the manufacturer guidelines for ethical reasons. We feel that in most cases our customers will appreciate our integrity and respect or need to follow the manufacturer’s guidelines. We sincerely regret that this situation didn’t end with the results the customer hoped for

The response from the dealership is untrue The damage was pointed out at the same day that we originally signed paperwork It was pointed out and noted to the Salesman, *** and one of the mangers, Alton I asked them to sale the vehicle as a used vehicle rather than new because the vehicle already had over miles on the car and damage on the car Front bumper, rear bumper, right quarter panel dent and lower mylar This was all noted the same day we received the keys to the car The dealership wrote up a We Owe on the vehicle Before signing the paperwork, I was assured the vehicle would be fixed properly and would not be spotted, since they could only sale the vehicle as new I wanted it fixed like new So we drove off with the vehicle after I was assured that it would be done as requested We took the vehicle back a week later for the oil change and the repairs They kept the vehicle and put us in a loaner After the first attempt of delivery, the only thing the dealership fixed was a dent on the right quarter, in which they did some paintless dent repair They did not do any other work that was promised I refused delivery of the
vehicle and they took it back Second attempt they spotted the front bumper which looked horrible, dry and a different color I refused the delivery again and went over all the damages that were supposed to be fixed with ***, since they kept trying to fix one item and deliver it back to me and not fix it completely They kept the vehicle for several weeks assuring me that it would be done right They even informed me that they would take it to therecollision center and have them repaint it and do it correctly according to *** After they kept the vehicle for over another week, they attempted delivery again The only thing they did was again spot the front bumper at the bottom in a different area I refused delivery, called *** and told him the bumpers were a totally different color I told him I would get my painter at the shop I work at to use a paint light to see if there were indeed a different color I did that and told him that it does show two different colors, he asked me to get an estimate from work to fix the problems I did that and gave that to him They took the vehicle back yet again About a week later I got a phone call from *** and he was very rude stating that I need to turn in the loaner and pick up this car I told him until I am satisfied and it was fixed properly I would not be picking up this car, however we would turn in the loaner because I will not be threatened by anyone We dropped off the loaner the next morning and then I rec’d another phone call from *** that afternoon asking again and threatening again about the loaner I informed him loaner was at the dealership already and he asked when will I be picking up the Dodge DartI told him I will not pick up the vehicle until it fixed correctly and to my satisfaction since they sold a used car as a new car He said I don’t have time to mess with you, and I heard him tell his employee take her the car at her job and leave it just drop if off The next thing I knew they showed up at my work, I was with a guest and they left the vehicle and gave keys to my receptionist She asked them to wait and they said no By this time I was fed up with the whole situation and called the Lein Holder, gave them the scenario and requested the deal be unwinded (Refund) The Lein Holder did there investigation and agreed they would put in an order to unwind the deal Here we are weeks later and they cannot get even a response from the dealer I never threatened to destroy them on social media if they did not pay the estimate I provided, I was not seeking payment I want the deal UNWINDED/REFUND THE LEIN HOLDER AND OUT OF THIS DEAL

There is an open auto on Mr***'s credit buruea, per the bank that vehicle has to be traded in due to limited credit line available to himThe bank asks that he does not have two auto loans open. As said before, we still have an approval on him, however he will need to either bring us proof that vehicle is paid in full or more money downThis was discussed with him while he was here

I am rejecting this response because: Yet again, there seems to be some type of misunderstandingI was informed while I was there to show proof that the vehicle was paid off, I emailed the pay off letter I receivedThis whole process is unprofessional, and it's quite discouraging, I opened this complaint because I have received letters from a total of creditors my credit was ran too! That dropped my score EVEN more, that's an unethical practice called "Shot gunning" I want every single inquiry removed because I was mislead, and had my time wasted for a total of daysI've never dealt with such unprofessional individualsIt's all about customer satisfaction at the end of the day.

Excelent service

The customer didn't buy from us because thew vehicle we were trying to get he already opened negotiations with COVERT and so they rrejected the vehicle to bwe traded rto us sine he already was talking to them so they can sell it to himThe deal was a true loser deal and showed him all evidence but
he didn't believe us.the deal was reversed and we lost our Chrysler money because of him not buying

Great place to do business withWould absolutely recommend to family and friends

Had a great experience at South Point Dodge got a brand new Jeep Renegade and Alan was a great salesperson with a lot of information to help me out on my decisionThank You Alan!!!
