Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: since when can a person not have multiple auto loans? It's fine, I got financed through my credit union, so as I initially requested, you guys ran my credit to different lenders a term that my credit union called "shot gunning" I'd like those inquiries removed, you guys made my score drop even more when that was done! I have authorized the refund of the diagnosis charge I understand that when you arrived we thought the part would be readily available, but later discovered that it was not I apologize that other options weren't made available to you in a reasonable amount of time We try to only use Genuine Mopar Parts to insure that it will be warrantable in the future

***, We appreciate you taking the time and informing us of this matter and strongly appreciate your businessI do apologize for the miss communication from our sales associate in regards to being able to remove the doorsHe was under the impression this was a factory installed power packageThis vehicle has been certified and you should have gotten the certification paperwork and the doors and locks and windows have been inspected for properly functioning and have passed the inspection which is registered to the vin# of the vehicle.The only difference would be to install a plug in the wiring so that it can be easily disconnected upon attempting to remove the doors, which I'm surprised the previous owner didn't have the shop which they did the work , didn't include thatAs a goodwill gesture I will go ahead and have my technicians install the quick disconnect to your vehicle for all four doors at no charge to you, as an appreciation of your business After talking to my managers they informed me that you did resigned the paperwork due to the additional discount they gave you for the inconvenience that they had caused you due to this small miscommunication, at the time you left your vehicle here for us to fix and everything was explained to you and you left on a good noteI will have my staff call you upon completion of the work and if you like we would be more than happy to deliver your car to you if you choose soIf you have any further question please feel free to contact meThank you again [redacted] **

We apologize for the mechanical issue this vehicle ended up with When we advertised the vehicle we did not there was any issues w/ it, Again, this is a pre-owned vehicle, we have every customer sign a Buyer's Guide during the purchase agreementThis guide says you are taking delivery of the vehicle AS IS...However, as soon as the issue was brought to our attention we immediately took it to the specific Manufacturer's dealer to have it fixedWe also have provided the customer a brand new car for transportation while his is in the shop

As with all repairs made in our shop, we need to be able to first reproduce and verify the complaint in order to make a legitimate repair recommendation We have never been able to reproduce the customer’s complaint with her vehicle We understand her frustration, but it appears that most of the vehicles problems are centered on an alternator replacement performed at an independent repair facility Unfortunately, we also have to duplicate a concern before an extended warranty will step up and pay for any rental or towing expenses We have several man hours invested in trying to reproduce this concern, and have not charged a dime We offered to continue to try and duplicate the concern, but customer picked up vehicle

South Point Dodge has made contact with this customerThis was a decision that was made by an employee that is no longer with the dealershipWe have honored the price that was given to Mrs [redacted] and she will be taking delivery of her new vehicle on 08/03/She has indicated that she is happy with the resolution and no longer has any complaint

Mr [redacted] ’s interaction with South Point took place over a 3-day period All contact was made via the internet and phoneThe salesperson discussed the vehicle with him and a price was indeed agreed uponBanking information is obtained to expedite the closing transactionOnce any customer physically comes in to finalize the sale, deposits may or may not be processed depending on payment options a customer choosesAt no time was there a charge of $made to Mr [redacted] ’s bank account, which he can verify by reviewing his account records During the 3-day period another customer came in and purchased the vehicle South Point stands ready to assist Mr [redacted] locate a comparable vehicleWe have access to multiple auto auctions and can find a vehicle for himMr [redacted] will need to reach out to our salesperson and provide us parameters on pricing and what he is looking for We look forward to assisting him

The vehicle Ms [redacted] purchased was a demo vehicleWe sell these as new cars because they have never been titled, this is common practiceShe also states that we spot painted this carThat is not what we didWe have receipts from our body shop where they in fact painted the whole bumper as she requested.We have tried to make Ms [redacted] happy and feel we have done everything that we promised

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: regardless if the car had "mechanical issues" you sold me a car that had a amount of mileage on it Prior to that date on the document, you advertised a car that had miles on it After seeing that advertisement I came in to test drive the vehicle (around a mile drive at least) A few days after I decided to purchase the vehicle, and as you can see on the Receipt that you gave me the vehicle listed still had miles This drew me to the conclusion that you had falsely advertised a vehicle and sold me a vehicle with the wrong amount of mileage on it I came to your dealership rather than a private seller for security and peace of mind when it comes to investing a large amount of money I am now not confident at all in how many miles are actually on the car, as the LOW MILEAGE was a huge selling point for me in the first place The actual mileage on the car is not known which is something I deserve to know before buying My original resolution still stands: Refund my money and take the car back or give me a 3000$ discount on the car Regards, [redacted]

I certainly understand the frustration Mr [redacted] must have, however, Mr [redacted] did not test drive a truck with a Aisin transmission and told our staff he wanted a truck exactly like the one he test drove only in another color so that is what we sold himThe truck that Mr [redacted] is asking for is $10k more and he was extremely concerned about monthly paymentWe extended his loan terms to the maximum length that is offered just to hit his paymentThere is no way that we would have even come close to his wishes to stay at that payment with the upgraded transmission We have offered to trade him out of the vehicle

We apologize for the frustration you suffered for the issues you had with your Dodge Durango We endeavor to repair all vehicles correctly the first time, but unfortunately we fall short of that goal from time to time I see that from your complaint that another dealer had trouble getting the vehicle to act up as well, but that Covert was able to determine it was a damaged head I’m glad this was finally discovered and repairs made We hope that the vehicle will now be what you hoped for when you purchased it, and that you have many wonderful miles of enjoyment

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The response from the dealership is untrue The damage was pointed out at the same day that we originally signed paperwork It was pointed out and noted to the Salesman, [redacted] and one of the mangers, Alton I asked them to sale the vehicle as a used vehicle rather than new because the vehicle already had over miles on the car and damage on the car Front bumper, rear bumper, right quarter panel dent and lower mylar This was all noted the same day we received the keys to the car The dealership wrote up a We Owe on the vehicle Before signing the paperwork, I was assured the vehicle would be fixed properly and would not be spotted, since they could only sale the vehicle as new I wanted it fixed like new So we drove off with the vehicle after I was assured that it would be done as requested We took the vehicle back a week later for the oil change and the repairs They kept the vehicle and put us in a loaner After the first attempt of delivery, the only thing the dealership fixed was a dent on the right quarter, in which they did some paintless dent repair They did not do any other work that was promised I refused delivery of the vehicle and they took it back Second attempt they spotted the front bumper which looked horrible, dry and a different color I refused the delivery again and went over all the damages that were supposed to be fixed with ***, since they kept trying to fix one item and deliver it back to me and not fix it completely They kept the vehicle for several weeks assuring me that it would be done right They even informed me that they would take it to therecollision center and have them repaint it and do it correctly according to *** After they kept the vehicle for over another week, they attempted delivery again The only thing they did was again spot the front bumper at the bottom in a different area I refused delivery, called *** and told him the bumpers were a totally different color I told him I would get my painter at the shop I work at to use a paint light to see if there were indeed a different color I did that and told him that it does show two different colors, he asked me to get an estimate from work to fix the problems I did that and gave that to him They took the vehicle back yet again About a week later I got a phone call from [redacted] and he was very rude stating that I need to turn in the loaner and pick up this car I told him until I am satisfied and it was fixed properly I would not be picking up this car, however we would turn in the loaner because I will not be threatened by anyone We dropped off the loaner the next morning and then I rec’d another phone call from [redacted] that afternoon asking again and threatening again about the loaner I informed him loaner was at the dealership already and he asked when will I be picking up the Dodge DartI told him I will not pick up the vehicle until it fixed correctly and to my satisfaction since they sold a used car as a new car He said I don’t have time to mess with you, and I heard him tell his employee take her the car at her job and leave it just drop if off The next thing I knew they showed up at my work, I was with a guest and they left the vehicle and gave keys to my receptionist She asked them to wait and they said no By this time I was fed up with the whole situation and called the Lein Holder, gave them the scenario and requested the deal be unwinded (Refund) The Lein Holder did there investigation and agreed they would put in an order to unwind the deal Here we are weeks later and they cannot get even a response from the dealer I never threatened to destroy them on social media if they did not pay the estimate I provided, I was not seeking payment I want the deal UNWINDED/REFUND THE LEIN HOLDER AND OUT OF THIS DEAL Regards, [redacted]

This vehicle's warranty was restricted by the manufacturer after it was found by a Dallas area dealer to have contaminated fuelThe customer elected to not have repairs to the fuel systemThe manufacturer has specific repair procedures for contaminated fuel systems and as a result of those procedures not being followed, the manufacturer restricted the engine and related fuel systems warrantyThe vehicle currently has DEF fluid that is below the minimum required operating specificationThe DEF fluid requires periodic maintenance and must be replenished with fresh/new fluid that has been properly stored and prior to shelf life expirationSince the DEF system was operated with out of specification fluid, there are additional items that will require replacement to return the system to optimum performance standardsThis condition is considered a maintenance item and subsequent negative impact to related components due to lack of maintenance is not covered under the manufacturers limited warranty [redacted] Fixed Operations Director why here

Response: We are sorry you were dissatisfied with your recall service on 12/06/ As is the case with most vehicles of age, it is not uncommon for plastic parts to experience some degradation due to age Texas heat being a strong contributor to many dash related issues Chrysler like many manufacturers only produce parts for vehicles for to years after the model cycle ends, and your vehicle is over that age group All collateral damage recall repairs are at the discretion of the manufacturer, and in this case there was a lot of back and forth as to if they were willing to participate due to wear and tear In the end they agreed to participate and parts were ordered We are still currently awaiting the arrival of an air bag part that is on national backorder Once it arrives we are going to take care of the dash replacement
