Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Yet again, there seems to be some type of misunderstanding. I was informed while I was there to show proof that the vehicle was paid off, I emailed the pay off letter I received. This whole process is unprofessional, and it's quite discouraging, I opened this complaint because I have received letters from a total of 20 creditors my credit was ran too! That dropped my score EVEN more, that's an unethical practice called "Shot gunning" I want every single inquiry removed because I was mislead, and had my time wasted for a total of 3 days. I've never dealt with such unprofessional individuals. It's all about customer satisfaction at the end of the day.

[redacted] FIXED OPERATION [redacted]WE HAVE REACHED A AGREEMENT WITH MR [redacted] AND PROVIDED HIM WITHA VEHICLE TO DRIVE WHILE HIS CAR IS BEING REPAIRED

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Attached is a copy of the complaint information and letters sent to South Point Dodge Austin TX, Ray Huffins Dodge Plano TX, FCA...

Corporation, the Revdex.com Dallas and the US EPA.
As you will see in the attachments I have made several efforts to have the proper repairs to my Ram 5500 4X4 Chassis Cab at both Ray Huffins Dodge in Plano TX and South Point Dodge in Austin TX. The issues with my truck are related to the federally required emissions that is operated by the diesel exhause fluid (DEF) system that is suppose to make the truck compliant with federal emissions out put.
Not only is then DEF system required by federal law to run and perform according to the guidelines but it is also illegal for the consumer to remove or mess with other than replacing then fluid as needed.
If the DEF system is not working properly the computer makes the truck to go into limp mode where it will not go over 5 miles per hours and is incapable of continuing to pull any trailers that may be attached at the time it goes into limp mode.
As a result of the continued failure of the DEF system I have been stranded at least 3 times and have had to tow the vehicle to South Point Dodge on 2 occasions.
Because the truck was purchased for our volunteer service and our clients are all disabled including myself the failure of the DEF system and the refusal of the dealers and manufacture has caused a safety issue with the operation of the vehicle with the last time in use I was stranded more than a 100 miles from home with several disabled veterans in the sweltering heat posing health and safety issues that just be allowed to happen.

Despite numerous attempts to have the issues resolved with Ray Huffins Dodge in Plano, South Point Dodge in Austin and the manufacture we have not been able to have the proper repairs.
Both the dealers and manufacture would have you believe that all of the problems are related to a one time water in the fuel light that came on around 08-15-2015 while traveling to Dallas to move our last remaining personal belongings from our Allen house we sold.
However as you will see in the attached documents that after the 08-15-2015 visit to the dealer my truck has been in the shop several more times and there is no findings of a error code or warning light for water in the fuel. Why you might ask. That's because I did not have 800.00 for the dealer to drop the tank and clean it. As recommended by the dealer I lowered the fuel tank and empted it and flushed with fresh fuel .
I then took it to South Point dodge and had the fuel filters changed as a percausion. Afterwards the warning light and error codes related to the water in fuel did not and has not been documented by either dealer. Yet they continue to refuse to make the appropriate repairs of which none are related to the initial water in fuel Light.
To date my truck remains at South Point Dodge in Austin and the dealer and manufacture are continuing to refuse to make the appropriate repairs under the manufacture or Federal emission warrantee. Therefore we are asking for your assistance in stopping the dealers and manufactures act of bad faith and fair dealing.
Because of the excessive hardship and the refusal to make the proper repairs not just once , twice or even three different time its more like 6 different trips to the dealer where it remains to this day unrepaired. So at this point the only reasonable action would be a forced buy back so that we can move on and purchase a proper replacement that will not continue to leave me my family and our disabled veterans we service.
Thank Yo in adv. ice for your help to resolve these issues.

We were not able to get the new vehicle financed as customer's income was not able to be proven. What she listed that she made every month was not proven through bank statements or any type of payroll check. The bank sent us back the contract, we did not have a cashable contract at that...

point. We appraised her "trade" at $1000. We cut a check for $390.40 to Title Max on 8/23 to payoff her loan and we sent her an equity check for $600.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I left the dealership on an expectation that nothing else could be done. I was told by 3 different employees ( [redacted] "sales", Q in "finance" and floor manager at the time) that the bank had already accepted the paper work and could not be refunded. This morning I called velocity bank who financed me and was told by my representative that loan had not been processed NORE sent YET at 12:53pm, only the quote. She told me that the refund could be done by the dealership. on top of all the lies I still have a hard time believing that the vehicle was jeep certified porperly and if it  so  somehow missed getting inspected on one of  key selling point of the wrangler when the doors could not be taken off. which again was never mentioned during the 3 hour sale process. with that I do not feel comfortable buying any viechle from your location. I would like to get a refund and buy a car elsewhere.
Regards,
[redacted]

I have authorized the refund of the diagnosis charge.  I understand that when you arrived we thought the part would be readily available, but later discovered that it was not.  I apologize that other options weren't made available to you in a reasonable amount of time.  We try to only...

use Genuine Mopar Parts to insure that it will be warrantable in the future.

[redacted],
We appreciate you taking the time and informing us of this matter and strongly appreciate your business. I do apologize for the miss communication from our sales associate in regards to being able to remove the doors. He was under the impression this was a factory installed...

power package. This vehicle has been certified and you should have gotten the certification paperwork and the doors and locks and windows have been inspected for properly functioning and have passed the inspection which is registered to the vin# of the vehicle. The only difference would be to install a plug in the wiring so that it can be easily disconnected upon attempting to remove the doors, which I'm surprised the previous owner didn't have the shop which they did the work , didn't include that. As a goodwill gesture I will go ahead and have my technicians install the quick disconnect to your vehicle for all four doors at no charge to you, as an appreciation of your business.
After talking to my managers they informed me that you did resigned the paperwork due to the additional discount they gave you for the inconvenience that they had caused you due to this small miscommunication, at the time you left your vehicle here for us to fix and everything was explained to you and you left on a good note. I will have my staff call you upon completion of the work and if you like we would be more than happy to deliver your car to you if you choose so. If you have any further question please feel free to contact me.
Thank you again.

Ms. [redacted] and her son brought their vehicle to our repair facility, after further review of the vehicle, Dodge (the manufacturer) agreed to take care of the cost for replacing the transmission. We did this repair at no cost to the customer. The only repair the customer paid for was basic maintenance...

that they authorized.A couple weeks after the major repair was done, the son and his girlfriend came back to the dealership to advise that the car was still giving them problems. At this point, we were going to take the car back to see if there was something still wrong with it, and give them something to drive while we did that. The customers were not able to provide a Driver's license so we could not offer them a loaner. At this point, the customers got extremely loud in the dealership. They were cussing in front of our other customers and even screamed violent threats at a manager here. We called the police to have them escorted out of the dealership. There were numerous witnesses here, their behavior was explosive and threatening. We pressed trespassing charges on them to protect our employees and customers.

I have been advised that our Service Director, [redacted] was in contact w/ Mr. [redacted] yesterday. They are going to try to further assess the issue and try to fix the problem.

I am rejecting this response because:I did not come into the dealership in February. Prior to my visit in May, I had not been there since I purchased a vehicle in 2014. At my visit to the dealership in May, I did not authorize anyone to check my credit. We never entered the purchasing process and I was told my credit would not be checked until I gave permission.

Mr. [redacted]’s interaction with South Point took place over a 3-day period.   All contact was made via the internet and phone. The salesperson discussed the vehicle with him and a price was indeed agreed upon. Banking information is obtained to expedite the closing transaction. Once any...

customer physically comes in to finalize the sale, deposits may or may not be processed depending on payment options a customer chooses. At no time was there a charge of $500 made to Mr. [redacted]’s bank account, which he can verify by reviewing his account records.   During the 3-day period another customer came in and purchased the vehicle.   South Point stands ready to assist Mr. [redacted] locate a comparable vehicle. We have access to multiple auto auctions and can find a vehicle for him. Mr. [redacted] will need to reach out to our salesperson and provide us parameters on pricing and what he is looking for.   We look forward to assisting him.

I am rejecting this response because: since when can a person not have multiple auto loans? It's fine, I got financed through my credit union, so as I initially requested, you guys ran my credit to 32 different lenders a term that my credit union called "shot gunning" I'd like those inquiries removed, you guys made my score drop even more when that was done! I will be consulting with a lawyer to assure that this gets handled.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We have issued a check for the amount requested to Ally bank via ACH funds. On behalf of the dealership, I truly apologize for the inconvenience. We have had several staff changes and unfortunately none of the managers that were involved in this...

transaction are employed here anymore. Hopefully we have addressed your concern and made things right. Please feel free to contact me anytime.
I have attached a copy of the ACH to Ally bank for the whole balance.

Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: The $1750.00 rebate shown was not offered to compensate for the entertainment package. Their paperwork shows a discount to the dealer of$2126.00 for a dealers invoice of $47,199.00. Their price to me was $48,680 before taxes, fees etc.. All of this was on 19 and 20 package. all paperwork available to me showing the entertainment package. The vehicle was not delivered until later in the week and the vehicle window sticker showed the entertainment package. If the dealers statements are factual, why was a $2200.00 package ever discussed and promised? There are several witnesses to the discussion and offer.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I am emailing because I needed to let you know that South...

Point Dodge has responded and has given me back my $500. I still feel that this place is very shady and has gotten away with scamming many others that do not know what to do when they get scammed. I have read many bad reviews on them and I am not the only one that they have done this to. Thank you for helping me get my money back.

My Chrysler 300 has been in for the same repair 7 times since April of 2012 when it was purchased new from this dealer and the problem has never been fixed. The problem involves all gauges, navigating system, entertainment system, and backup camera going dead at once. When I took the car in on Tuesday 10/06/2015 I was told the best they could do is give me an appointment to look at it 4 weeks from now. This service department is terrible, leaving the customers with cars too dangerous or unable to drive with no resource.

I certainly understand the frustration Mr. [redacted] must have, however, Mr. [redacted] did not test drive a truck with a Aisin transmission...

and told our staff he wanted a truck exactly like the one he test drove only in another color so that is what
we sold him. The truck that Mr. [redacted] is asking for is $10k more and he was extremely concerned about monthly payment. We extended his loan terms to the maximum length that is offered just to hit his payment. There is
no way that we would have even come close to his wishes to stay at that payment with the upgraded transmission.
We have offered to trade him out of the vehicle.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The response from the dealership is untrue.  The damage was pointed out at the same day that we originally signed paperwork.  It was pointed out and noted to the Salesman, [redacted] and one of the mangers, Alton.  I asked them to sale the vehicle as a used vehicle rather than new because the vehicle already had over 3000 miles on the car and damage on the car.  Front bumper, rear bumper, right quarter panel dent and lower mylar.  This was all noted the same day we received the keys to the car.  The dealership wrote up a We Owe on the vehicle.  Before signing the paperwork, I was assured the vehicle would be fixed properly and would not be spotted, since they could only sale the vehicle as new.  I wanted it fixed like new.  So we drove off with the vehicle after I was assured that it would be done as requested.  We took the vehicle back a week later for the oil change and the repairs.  They kept the vehicle and put us in a loaner.  After the first attempt of delivery, the only thing the dealership fixed was a dent on the right quarter, in which they did some paintless dent repair.  They did not do any other work that was promised.  I refused delivery of the vehicle and they took it back.  Second attempt they spotted the front bumper which looked horrible, dry and a different color.  I refused the delivery again and went over all the damages that were supposed to be fixed with [redacted], since they kept trying to fix one item and deliver it back to me and not fix it completely.  They kept the vehicle for several weeks assuring me that it would be done right.  They even informed me that they would take it to therecollision center and have them repaint it and do it correctly according to [redacted].  After they kept the vehicle for over another week, they attempted delivery again.  The only thing they did was again spot the front bumper at the bottom in a different area.  I refused delivery, called [redacted] and told him the bumpers were a totally different color.  I told him I would get my painter at the shop I work at to use a paint light to see if there were indeed a different color.  I did that and told him that it does show two different colors, he asked me to get an estimate from work to fix the problems.  I did that and gave that to him.  They took the vehicle back yet again.  About a week later I got a phone call from [redacted] and he was very rude stating that I need to turn in the loaner and pick up this car.  I told him until I am satisfied and it was fixed properly I would not be picking up this car, however we would turn in the loaner because I will not be threatened by anyone.  We dropped off the loaner the next morning and then I rec’d another phone call from [redacted] that afternoon asking again and threatening again about the loaner.  I informed him loaner was at the dealership already and he asked when will I be picking up the Dodge Dart. I told him I will not pick up the vehicle until it fixed correctly and to my satisfaction since they sold a used car as a new car.  He said I don’t have time to mess with you, and I heard him tell his employee take her the car at her job and leave it just drop if off.  The next thing I knew they showed up at my work,  I was with a guest and they left the vehicle and gave keys to my receptionist.  She asked them to wait and they said no.  By this time I was fed up with the whole situation and called the Lein Holder, gave them the scenario and requested the deal be unwinded (Refund).  The Lein Holder did there investigation and agreed they would put in an order to unwind the deal.  Here we are weeks later and they cannot get even a response from the dealer.  I never threatened to destroy them on social media if they did not pay the estimate I provided, I was not seeking payment I want the deal UNWINDED/REFUND THE LEIN HOLDER AND OUT OF THIS DEAL.
