Ms [redacted] first communication with Seventh Avenue occurred on July 16, 2015, after she paid the balance on her accountIn light of the small balance, Seventh Avenue agreed to delete the account information from Ms [redacted] credit fileThis change may take days or more to appear on a consumer credit report

Ashro has two accounts at Ms [redacted] s address, one under the name [redacted] (ending in ***) and one under the name of [redacted] (ending in ***)The [redacted] account was opened via the internet on January 12, and has payments made in February and March of The [redacted] account was opened in October of and is the account for which Ms [redacted] has been receiving notices for non-paymentIf both of these accounts belong to Ms [redacted] , Ashro will be happy to combine them into one account, with one billing statementIf they are separate accounts for separate individuals, Ms [redacted] will need to ensure that she is paying on the account in her name

Ms [redacted] was pre-screened to receive a pre-approved credit offer from Home at Five The promotional materials for this offer state: Home @ five credit UP TO $ Credit orders are subject to final credit approvalSee terms of credit and pre-approved offer on the back of the order form Please note the highlighted textIt 1.)does not indicate that Ms [redacted] was pre-approved for a $credit limit: 2.) clearly indicates her credit order is subject to approval and 3.) refers the consumer to the terms of the offer on the back of the order form Ms [redacted] placed an order with Home at Five on April 14, The amount of the order exceeded $After reviewing Ms [redacted] credit history, Home at Five offered to open an account for her if she remitted a down payment equal to 1/of her order totalHad she made the down payment, an account would have been opened in Ms [redacted] name and the unpaid balance of her order would have been charged to the accountAs a result, she would have received an extension of credit between $(the minimum limit listed in the terms of the offer) and the upper limit of $listed on the promotional materials Finally, it should be noted that a creditor has the right, under the FCRA, to review the credit history of any consumer who responds to a pre-approved offer and to revoke the offer if the review indicates the consumer no longer meets the criteria established for the offer

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below My name at the time was [redacted] I have faxed documentation to them four timesThe accounts were with Monroe & Main and Seventh Avenue Colony Brands is the parent corporation for those entities I spoke with yet another person, [redacted] who served as the go-between for a Ms [redacted] (At Monroe & Main) and was told flat out, they would NOT be correcting this That it was reported correctly and I should contact the credit bureaus The credit bureaus cannot place information on your credit report unless a creditor advises or instructs them to do so When I asked to speak with Ms [redacted] , conveniently, she had left for the day I asked that she call me today and no call has been made The documentation clearly shows their reporting error and violation of bankruptcy discharge injunction They have no intention of clearing this up I then investigated on my own and was able to reach the General Counsel for Colony Brands, who I had also sent a complete packet of documentation to, and just in our conversation, he agreed that the delinquencies should not have been reported This is not settled and I risk losing the loan approval for my home because of their years of inaccurate reporting This company is in violation of Federal Bankruptcy Law and The Fair Credit Reporting Act for failing to correct information that is in error Regards, [redacted] ***

Montgomery Ward received an order in Mr [redacted] name on May 27, that included a request for an extension of creditThe order included Mr [redacted] 's personal information, including his home address and social security numberThe shipping and billing address on the order were the same: [redacted] Montgomery Ward sent a request to Mr [redacted] for a down payment of 50% of the order total before a credit account would be opened in his nameMr [redacted] received the request for a down payment and informed Montgomery Ward that he had not placed the orderMontgomery Ward has not shipped the merchandise or opened a credit account in Mr [redacted] 's nameNonetheless, Mr [redacted] should be aware that someone used his personal information in an attempt to open a credit account and may wish to take precautions to prevent similar occurrences in the futureMr [redacted] was not on Montgomery Ward's mailing list prior to the order and is not on its mailing list nowMontgomery Ward will add Mr [redacted] 's information to its fraud file to prevent any future orders from being processed

A review of its records indicates the personal information provided at account opening does not match Ms [redacted] Nonetheless, information regarding the account continues to appear on her consumer credit reportMontgomery Ward has now coded the account as fraudulent to permanently delete the account information and prevent it from reappearing on Ms [redacted] credit report

Monroe and Main's records indicate Ms [redacted] was pre-screened in December of and was sent a pre-approved credit offer during the spring mailing seasonThe pre-approved offer expired on June 30, Monroe & Main has no record of an account under the name [redacted] in area code ***, let alone a charged off account in the name of [redacted] Please note that pre-screen inquiries are not visible to other creditors and do not impact a consumer's credit score

Ward's records indicate Ms [redacted] has furnished additional information in support of her claim that she is not responsible for this accountWard's Loss Prevention department re-opened its investigation and has elected to delete the information for this account from MsR [redacted] credit fileThis change may not appear on a consumer credit report for days or more

Notice of the deletion was sent to the consumer reporting agencies in March, April, May and June of Montgomery Ward will send an additional request to the consumer reporting agencies as a courtesy to MsShippIt should be noted, however, that Montgomery Ward cannot compel the agencies to update their records If the information continues to appear on Ms [redacted] credit report, she can file an automated consumer dispute by visiting the web site of any of the three major reporting agencies
