As stated in the response to Ms [redacted] previous complaint, the companies are not required to immediately update an account status and there are very practical reasons for not doing soNonetheless, the companies have complied with Ms [redacted] request and have updated her accounts to reflect a zero balance

Ms [redacted] payment was received by Ginny's on July 18, The status of her account will be updated as part of Ginny's next scheduled report to the consumer reporting agencies in August of This schedule complies with the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act

Ms [redacted] was mailed an identity theft affidavit on February 5, 2015, which she has failed to complete and returnBased on the information currently available, Ashro has a reasonable basis for believing the account was opened by Ms [redacted] and that she is responsible for payment of the balance Ashro will investigate this matter further upon receipt of additional information or documentation from Ms [redacted]

Seventh Avenue has not determined that Ms [redacted] is responsible for payment of this account - it's investigation is ongoingFurther, Seventh Avenue has not furnished any information regarding the account to a consumer reporting agencyFinally, a social security number is not required to place an order with Seventh AvenueHowever, in instances like this one, when an order is received from a consumer who was not pre-screened, a social security number is required As stated previously, a social security number was provided as part of the application Seventh Avenue anticipates Ms [redacted] cooperation in its investigation of this matter so that a swift and amicable resolution can be achieved
