Stellar Recovery, Inc. Reviews (387)

Review: I recently pulled my credit report and noticed a collection from Stellar Recovery for $79. I immediately called Stellar and paid it. I was told it would be removed from my credit report. I have called Stellar and I have been told, rudely that it was reported for removal. However, according to [redacted] and [redacted], it has been reported for update not removal. I recently sent an email to the CFO of this agency. I would like for them to keep its word.Desired Settlement: I would like removal from my credit reports.

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our office did receive a [redacted] file in our office on 04-10-2013 for a [redacted]. We do show that the file was paid in full on 09-04-2013. It is our policy to report this file as paid in full to the credit reporting agencies, which it was. On 09-23-2013 we did receive a letter from the consumer stating the account is paid and consumer would like this debt removed from the credit reporting in good faith, if not, please update the credit reporting as paid and closed. As stated, we did report the file as paid in full. Although it is not our policy to do so, we have ordered an AUD deletion of this account to all credit reporting agencies, confirmation is [redacted], dated todays date. The file is now paid in full and deletion has been ordered.

Review: 2009? purchased service of [redacted] and had it installed. They put 3 extra holes in my siding because they couldn't get it mounted right. I signed up for a $35/ month package for a year. each month the price kept increasing with no add on to service. I called [redacted] and they said since someone else signed the contract it was not valid and since it was prepaid I had fulfilled my obligation once the equipment was returned. I returned the equipment. Off and on for years this keeps popping up for $121 collection. I've called and tried to validate and settle and I get yelled at over the phone. Now stellar recovery has it as a new debt on my record. I don't know where the $121 charge is from and I can't get an answer.Desired Settlement: I would like it resolved in some way and removed if possible.

Stellar Recvoery is in receipt of an inquiry made by [redacted]. On 04-25-2013, our office did receive a past due billing from [redacted] for a [redacted] for services at [redacted]. On 06-05-2013, we show we received an e mail inquiry from the consumer and responded with information we had on this file, we show no further response was made by this consumer including the fact that he was disputing the file. On 01-15-2014, our dialer phoned the number of ###-###-####, the party indicated that we were calling the wrong number and our system removed the number, this is the phone number given in the Revdex.com inquiry as the contact phone number for this file? We show no other contact made on this file. Based on the inquiry and statement from the consumer, we have closed the file as disputed and sent the information received to [redacted]. All Credit reporting has been ordered deleted.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of an inquiry made by [redacted]. Our investigation shows that we do have a file in the name of [redacted] from Comcast for services at [redacted] with a SS # ending in [redacted]. Since the information received from this inquiry is limited, and we are unable to verify that this may be file being reported, we have closed this file as disputed and will return it to Comcast. We have also ordered deletion of any credit reporting, confirmation of the deletion is [redacted]. If the consumer has any additional concerns, he is also welcome to contact our office at [redacted] or e mail us at [redacted] .

Review: I found that Stellar Recovery Inc. was listed as a collection account on my credit report when applying for a car loan. It was reported March 2013. I had service with Dish Network in July 2010. I returned equipment and thought that I was finished dealing with the company. I was not contacted by Stellar Recovery Inc. by mail or phone. I only found out about the collection account when pulling my credit in 2014. I paid the collection account. I have asked on a few occasions to have it removed from my credit report. I have always got the same reply "we don't do that". Some of the representatives are rude. The most recent conversation the lady cut me off every time I tried to talk. She gave me the same line about the company not removing accounts and then told me they used to but do not anymore. This is not true because there are several recent online complaints that were satisfied by removing the account. I could hear people in the background laughing, it was very unprofessional. It is unfair that they remove some accounts and not others. They are not pleasant to deal with and should work on their customer service skills. Even when speaking to a "supervisor" he told me he couldn't help me and didn't know who I should be transferred to. The employees just kept repeating it depends on the account if we will delete it or not. I have read some of the numerous complaints against this company and some are just like mine and were deleted.Desired Settlement: I would like Stellar Recovery Inc. to remove the account from the credit report.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records indicate that a Dish Network file was placed in our office in the name of [redacted] for services at [redacted] on 04-10-2013. Our records also indicate that 2 letters were mailed to the consumer, one on 4-24-2013 and another on 02-08-2014 to the address we have on file. We also show that calls were attempted 19 times since 7-03-2013 through 02-24-2014 and we spoke with the consumer and she did pay the file on 03-19-2014. We also checked with the credit reporting agencies and they all show that we are properly reporting this file as paid in full with a zero balance on the credit profiles. Stellar Recovery does not have a "pay to delete" policy and our clients require us to report the file as paid in full, which we are currently reporting. The agents that the consumer spoke with on 06-02-2015, did explain or attempted to explain our policy. We have performed deletions in the past when a conflict occurred or they might have been an error made by the original client or something made have been said by one of our agents. In this case, we believe we are reporting the correctly to all credit reporting agencies. If Ms. [redacted] believes there should be a reason for deletion, she is welcome to call our office and speak with [redacted], our compliance officer at [redacted] Because a Revdex.com complaint is filed, is not a reason for deletion.

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The business states

the file was placed in our office in the name of [redacted] for services at [redacted] on 4/10/2013. I did not have dish network service at that address or at this time. I had service is 2010. I did not receive any calls from stellar recovery let alone 19 that you indicate in your reply to my complaint. I also never received any written correspondence. Why did you call "19 times and send two letters" three years after I had service with the company. Why is there a three year gap in your records and Dish Networks records? The agent neither explained or attempted to explain the company policy she just repeated her self over and over again and cut me off anytime I tried to explain myself. The only person at Stellar that was polite was the representative that took my payment. That is wrong. Even if it was impossible to manually delete accounts your employees should try using a little compassion when dealing with people and listen to the questions they are asking instead of just trying to get off the phone. They all sounded inconvenienced by taking my call. I understand that filing a complaint doesn't justify having it removed. Why do I read other complaints that sound very similar to mine have been deleted? Bottom line I did the right thing by paying off the debt I owed and I would like it removed from my credit just like you do for other people.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.

Response:

Stellar Recovery has received additional concerns from [redacted]. We did receive the file from Dish Network in 2013, consumer indicated she had service in 2010. Collections can span many years until the account is paid, often the past due accounts are placed with multiple agencies over a period of many years. We can document that 19 calls were made to the number provided, We can also document that 2 letters were sent from our office to the consumer. Our agents are trained to be polite and attempt to answer any and all questions, we do apologize if the consumer felt they were not professional, we will have our quality assurance department review all calls associated with this file. As indicated in our response, we have deleted reporting in the past when we felt there was a reason to do so based on what transpired either with our clients or with our agents. We do appreciate that Ms. [redacted] did pay her bill in our office and are reporting this account as paid in full and having a zero balance.

Review: While going through the pre-approval process to begin looking to purchase a house my banker notified of a claim on my credit report that was represented by Stellar Recovery, Inc but was originated by [redacted]. He notified me of the of the related information and instructed me to attempt to contact [redacted]. I did so and when I finally reached a human on the [redacted] end of the conversation and informed him of the my situation he informed me he was connecting me to "collections" which ended up being Stellar Recovery, Inc. I spoke with one of their employees immediately and she instructed me to to send an E-mail to a specific address with certain information after I provided her with my address and SSN and confirmed the claim on my account was inaccurate. This took place on Monday May 11, 2015 and I have sent a second E-mail with no reply which the employee told me would take place within 2 business days. I was never contacted by Stellar Recovery Inc either by mail or phone so my when my banker notified me of this credit claim I was exponentially upset. Especially since I have never been a customer of [redacted] and never intend to be after this incident.Desired Settlement: I am reporting this error and requesting it be deleted from my credit report and have this matter corrected as soon as possible.

Our records do show that we spoke with this consumer on 05-11-2015, the agent made notes and indicated "verified address but ss# is a no match, consumer has never had servies with [redacted], advised consumer of CBR research via e mail, closed file as disputed and restricted calls." We also received an e mail from our Web Site on 05-12-2015 which indicated we are reporting in error and requesting the entry be deleted from his credit profile. Our administrative staff noted that the file was already closed and returned to the client as disputed, no SS match. They also requested a manual deletion of the credit bureaus based on the consumer request, the confirmation # for this deletion was [redacted]. The file is closed and deletion has been ordered. Because of the high volume of inquiries made through our web site, we always review, document the e mail and our administrative staff takes the proper actions. I will accept this signed letter in PDF format returned to me by E-mail or preferably through this Revdex.com interface. I would also like an explanation as to how Stellar Recovery, Inc. was able to place a credit claim against a person in which they did not have 100% proof it was the person who has defrauded their customer.

After providing Stellar Recovery, Inc. with an additional 2 days from the day they stated they would provide me with the previously described letter stating that this credit claim against me has been deleted from my credit report, I have not yet received said letter. If Stellar Recovery Inc. states they have provided such a letter to me, then they have provided it to the wrong person. I am still in dispute with Stellar Recovery, Inc. and will continue to be until written documentation on Stellar Recovery, Inc letterhead is provided to me in PDF format with the signature of a senior manager or executive. This can be sent to [redacted] and at such time I will accept the response of Stellar Recovery, Inc. This is not an un-fair request as Stellar Recovery, Inc. has taken the time to ruin my credit report with this fraudulent claim, I am taking the time to ensure the proper measures are taken to correct this error.

Review: I received an credit alert from [redacted] that a negative report was added. The company was Stellar Recovery. The telephone number was given. I call to question collection activities. I was informed that the information was deleted last year 02/27/13. I informed them that it is back on with updated information as of February 2014. Representative stated that I would have to forward a copy of an updated credit report. That is an inconvience and ask to have them check with their credit department. I requested a supervisor who stated the same that they would not remove it without a copy of the credit report. I asked why do I have to pay for a report for an error on their end. Ms. * stated it didnt make her a difference. I informed them that I would rather take care of this with them versus going to Revdex.com she stated thats my choice. Why couldnt they just check with their credit department?Desired Settlement: I would like this information deleted from my credit report immediately.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records indicate that we did receive a [redacted] file on 12-16-2014 in the name of [redacted] for services at [redacted]. We do show that a demand letter with proper validation notice was sent to this address on 12-17-2014. We also show 5 attempted phone calls to ###-###-#### which is the phone listed with the Revdex.com complaint filed. On 03-16-2015, we show we received notification from [redacted] that they had received a payment in full on this file. The file was then closed as paid in full and notification was sent to the credit reporting agencies that the account was paid in full with a zero balance. On 03-25-2015, we did receive an e mail inquiry from the consumer, the e mail was noted, Mr. [redacted] indicated "this is paid in full, remove it immediately or I will report to the local Revdex.com and any other organiztion that regulates your company." I never received a letter from this company, nor am I going to answer any calls that I dont recognize. Most professional companies leave a detailed voice mail, if voice mail was left and letter received, I would have responded quickly to the voice mail or letter to inform them of the "bill" from [redacted]. It seems convenient that they would respond to a Revdex.com email, yet provide NO response to my email dated 3-25-15.

Stellar Recovery can document that the letter was sent to the consumer to the address of record. We are a collection enitiy and are legally limited to the type of messages that can be left. We did document the e mail received, again, we are limited as to responses via e mail because of privacy concerns but do respond internally to all e mails.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and will await their validation in the mail. I do want to point out that they are already being dishonest. I received a call today @9:49am from Stellar Recovery, I do have proof of this call. Review: Hello. Stellar Recovery has listed a collection of $592 on my credit report. According to my credit report, the collection, which originated with [redacted], was opened on April 9 2013. The report date is January 2015. The last time I had an account with [redacted] was in 2012. That account was closed and paid in full. This claim is fraudulent, as I returned [redacted]'s equipment in their prepaid packaging material that they have tracking access to. Stellar Recovery has not contacted me to request payment and I have not received a letter stating my right to dispute this claim within 30 days. If they had, I would have disputed the charge as fraudulent, and will have to do that unless this is removed from all three credit reports so that I can discuss this matter further with [redacted]. Thank you so much for the help, Stellar Recovery. My date of birth is [redacted]. Please contact me for any further information.Desired Settlement: Please remove this item from my credit report, as it is not accurate. Please assure it is removed from all 3 credit reports. Stellar Recovery is in receipt of an inquiry submitted to the Revdex.com by [redacted]. The original balance was $891.66, we received credits from [redacted] for $[redacted] on 7-9-2014, this appears to be return of equipment and left a remaining balance on the file as $591.68. We also show that letters were mailed to the address on [redacted] on 4-24-2013, 02-08-2014 and 04-09-2014. We also show that messages were left for the consumer at the number provided to the Revdex.com as ###-###-####. Review: Call with Automatied voice saying they are collection agency. Caller ID shows Cambridge,Ma number of ###-###-####. No name of who they want to contact

Getting harassing calls from Stellar Recovery Inc about Debt collection. I have no outstanding debt. My caller ID shows a Cambridge, Ma # of ###-###-####. Message states that they want to be contacted at ###-###-####. I believe this is a scam to get Financial information from me. I want them to stop calling my house. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I want them to stop calling my home phone or to provide more, correct information of who they are trying to contact and what bill/debt they are trying to collect.

Response:

Stellar Recovery has received the notification filed by [redacted]. The phone number of ###-###-#### was associated with a file in our office for a [redacted]. The phone number has been removed from our data base and placed in the do not call list. Mr. [redacted] could have called our office, our agents are trained to remove wrong numbers, which we do receive from our clients and other sources. We apologize for the calls made to this wrong number.

Review: The company called in an effort to "collect a debt" and would not state the nature of the call. The customer agent then proceeded to tell me my FULL NAME, COMPLETE ADDRESS, and LAST FOUR DIGITS OF MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. my personal identification HAS been compromised my giving this information to someone who has not been able to confirm who they say they are. The agent should have asked my to provide this information but instead they just wanted a yes or no answer. THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE GIVING OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION OF THIS NATURE OVER THE PHONE. The agent could not confirm who she was speaking to and therefore put my life and personal identity at risk by releasing this information to whomever is on the other end of the phone.Desired Settlement: I want to cease all communication with this business. In the event that they are an official debt collection agency they need better practices on how they will handle customer verification in the future. The amount issued on my debt is incorrect, and at this point I don't believe this company is competent enough to resolve the situation. I WANT THE DEBT AND MY INFORMATION DELETED PERMANENTLY FROM THEIR DATABASES AS THEY ARE COMPROMISING THE IDENTITY OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Review: I requested my credit report 4 months ago and noticed a collection placed for $263 from Dish Network which I did not previously receive communication or know about. I sent a Debt Validation letter under the Texas Finance Code Section 392.202 on September 26, 2015 via US mail Certified. It was received and signed for on September 29. 2015 which I have proof of. It has now been 98 days as of today, and I have yet to receive ANY validation of this alleged debt(Texas Finance Code states it must be validated within 30 days, or the trade line must be deleted: Texas Finance Code Section 392.202 (d)(1) ).Desired Settlement: I would like this alleged debt to be removed from all three credit bureaus as I requested validation 98 days ago via certified mail, and have received no validation thus far.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Stellar Recovery received two accounts from Dish Network for the account number [redacted] on two separate dates. The First received date was 9-12-2013 and was closed in our office on 11-25-2014. Dish Network replaced the account with our agency on 12-19-2014. When the request for validation was received from Mr. [redacted], he provided the file number for the first account which was previously closed, therefore no action was taken on the account. Upon notification of Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, Stellar Recovery has taken the necessary steps to contact our client, Dish Network , in an effort to fulfill M.r [redacted]'s validation request. At this time, all credit reporting has been removed and the account will be closed in our office. Please allow the credit reporting agencies up to 30 days to make these adjustments. Our apologies for any inconvenience we may have caused. Again, the file is now closed and returned to Dish Network and all credit reporting has been ordered deleted.

Review: 1. As per FTC rules, a debt collector cannot post a collection on your credit report without contacting you via phone, letter, text message, or email. Stellar Collections did not contact me via phone, letter, text message, or email prior to posting a collection on my credit report.

2. Stellar collections was attempting to collect something that was shown as paid and collected on my credit report.Desired Settlement: It is clear that the debt had been paid. They need to remove the negative post from my credit report immediately.

Review: I was misled about the account TYPE that I was paying on in March 2013. Identified as a "credit" account by Stellar Recovery. This was false.

March 12, 2013: A phone call is received from [redacted] of Stellar Recovery, INC. I was informed that Stellar Recovery was now in possession of my [redacted] "account" and that [redacted] would not be available to comment on the issue. That if my "account" was paid in full immediately (via Stellar Recovery), it would be closed in good standing and would not be reported to the credit bureaus. When I asked what the charges were for, I was told "late fees and finance charges". When I told them that I thought I'd arranged for this CREDIT CARD account to be paid...I was told that I "must have missed a payment because fees still remained" (paraphrase).

A second phone call was made after the first (same day, phone record attached) after money to pay this charge had been opened up. We set a transaction date for later in the week, and I asked for an email receipt showing the account closed, paid-in-full (email never received). The money from this collections effort, which I believed to be related to my [redacted] credit card, was taken from my personal checking account on 3/19/13 in the amount of $313.19. Attachment.

October 2013: As of 2 weeks ago, a new entry appeared on my credit report from [redacted]. It reflected an account that had been "written off" in the amount of $414, with a total balance due of $667. I immediately called [redacted], who put me through to their "recovery" department, and in turn forwarded me to "[redacted]"---their 3rd party collections firm.

I was told repeatedly that there was NO RECORD of any collections effort on this account ([redacted]), at which time I told [redacted] that I was concerned that I may have been a victim of fraud and had no choice but to dispute the matter until I received better information. For the record, over 12 calls were placed to both [redacted] and [redacted] within the first 48 hours of this matter being brought to my attention via credit report entry. Neither party was willing to accept responsibility for VALIDATING the debt, and to-date, NO DOCUMENTATION has been mailed to me by either party based on those initial calls.

Seeking answers, I contacted my personal bank and researched the "fraudulent" charge from March. I located Stellar Recovery, INC in my bank records, called them, and spoke to a manager who verified that their collection effort was valid. Dawn provided an account number and emailed me a "paid in full" letter. She was pleasant and quick to help.

I also contacted my local [redacted] branch and spoke with the branch VP, [redacted]. He personally provided me with statements relating to both checking and credit card accounts---which shed light onto the current situation. After another call to [redacted] Recovery (who pulled this collections account from [redacted] after just 24 hours...account now in [redacted] possession) to discuss the "paid in full" letter I'd just received from Stellar Recovery, it became clear that the account number tied to the collections in March 2013 were for a CHECKING account, NOT A CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT.

I now have all information that I need to understand clearly what occurred related to this matter---except for one critical piece: A copy of the phone conversation between me and Stellar Recovery, INC on March 12, 2013.

After realizing that I'd been lied to about what TYPE of account I was paying on in March, and that it caused me to dismiss any notion of this [redacted] credit card account even existing anymore, I went back to Stellar Recovery, INC asked to speak to the manager again. I was transferred twice, and eventually told that they DID have ONE phone record (not two?) on file, but that a lawyer would have to request it.

I believe that the transcript(s) of this call will indicate that I was, in fact,Desired Settlement: I'm requesting transcripts of the phone conversations between myself and [redacted] on 3/12/13 which will clearly indicate that I was misled into believing I was paying on my [redacted] credit card account. I will then forward this information to [redacted] and the 3 major credit reporting bureaus as evidence that I was misled to believe said account was CLOSED in March 2013---and that the current mark on my credit report (due to said account then slipping into arrears and being written off) is in

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 03-05-2013, our office did receive a file from [redacted] in the name of [redacted]. This file was clearly noted as a DDA account (Demand Deposit Account) and the [redacted] file number associated with the DDA was [redacted]. Our office did audit this file and we did locate one recorded conversation with the consumer on 03-12-2013. The call did show "the agent made it clear that this was for his checking account, not his credit card." The consumer did make arrangements for payment in full on this account and the payment was properly transmitted to [redacted]. Stellar Recovery does not report these files to any Credit Reporting agency. [redacted] may report these files to the Credit Reporting Agencies or, in this case to [redacted] as it deals with Checking account transactions. [redacted] has validated that this debt is a valid debt and has received paid in full information from Stellar Recovery. If Mr. [redacted] has questions regarding any reporting issues, he is certainly welcome to contact [redacted]. The file in our office has been closed as paid and full and reported to the original creditor.

Review: Stellar Recovery makes automated calls to my cell phone every 2 weeks asking for "[redacted]." When I call back and tell them I am not "[redacted]" they claim that they will remove my number from their call list. The calls have continued for months and they have not removed my number or made note that the number is not associated with "[redacted]."Desired Settlement: Stop calling my cell phone number

Stellar Recovery has received additional information on this inquiry. The phone number of ###-###-#### was removed by one of our agents per an inbound request on 08-14-2013. We have also placed the number in our "do not call" list for any future placements of that phone number into our system. We do apologize for the calls to a wrong number, but the number was removed when we were notified of such.

Stellar Recovery claims to have received my "inbound request" to remove my phone number on 8-14-2013 and that "the number was removed when notified of such." However, I received calls after this date (my cell phone provides a list of recent inbound calls which I still have record of). Several prior attempts to have my number placed on a "do not call" list were made as well which they only now claim they will do.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 09-19-2013, our office did get assigned a past due [redacted] file in the name of [redacted]. On 02-14-2014, the file was paid in full. On 02-14-2014 we also reported to all Credit REporting agencies that the file was paid in full. On 02-19-2014, we spoke with the consumer and she indicated that her loan officer had told her we could delete the credit reporting, we do not have a "pay to delete" policy and her loan officer is incorrect in making such a statement to the consumer. We are correctly reporting the account is paid in full and has a zero balance to all credit reporting agencies.

Review: This collection agency has repeatedly reported a collection to my credit report without calling or sending me a bill or any other evidence that I owe money to them or anyone else. They do not answer the phone when I attempt to discuss the matter, and I have already disputed the collection and had it removed from my report once. Now they have put it back on my report with a new date. I have never had an account with [redacted] and have no knowledge of any outstanding bills attributed to my business or family. I have received no evidence of moneys owed to [redacted] or this shady collection agency. I am considering filing a complaint with the FTC for fraudulent practices, and will do so in two weeks if this matter has not been resolved to my satisfaction. Here is the information:STELLAR RECOVERY INCAccount Number: [redacted] Amount my credit report says I owe: $21 (can you believe this?)Desired Settlement: I would like any derogatory items from this agency cleared from all three credit reports, with no further claims against me for this collection. Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 04-25-2013, our office did receive a past due billing from [redacted] in the name of [redacted] Frank [redacted] for services at [redacted] Sherman Oaks, CA 91423 for $20.62. We are showing that a letter was sent to Mr. [redacted] on 04-26-2013. We did receive a phone call on 06-06-2013 on our company voice mail and an agent left a message on phone ###-###-#### on the same date. We are showing no return call from Mr. [redacted]. Based on the information supplied to the Revdex.com, we have closed this file as disputed and have returned the file to our client with the information enclosed. We have also ordered deletion of this information to all Credit Reporting Agencies. We did not have any knowledge of a dispute until we received the notification through the Revdex.com.

Review: Was contacted by Stellar on July 29, 2013. I was told about a past due balance from [redacted]. The account was closed 5 years ago and I was just being contacted now. Stellar told me I owe $382.48. They explained it was $192.48 for my last bill due that was sent out 30-45 days after cancellation. Then the $190.00 was for equipment that we did not return (which we did, we are currently in communication with [redacted] regarding that matter). I spoke with [redacted], by suggestion of [redacted] to see if I can get more information. When I contacted [redacted], they said that I owe $192.48 for my final bill AND the equipment. They were unsure where the $190.00 came from because they only had $192.48 on file. I called [redacted] back to tell him about this information, he sent me to his manager, [redacted]. She said she can do a settlement for $308. I explained that I would like a print out of the details of the account and what the charges were for. Their whole demeanor changed and said that wasn't possible. I explained that I didn't feel comfortable giving $382 when I don't know what it is for. She was very rude and told me to contact collections at [redacted]. I called [redacted] again. They give me a copy of the past due amount, which is the $192.48, $120 for the cable box, $40 for the modem, and $32.48 for the final bill. I called [redacted] back and told her what I found and she immediately got defensive and told me they don't just make up numbers and don't charge extra for no reason and that I need to pay my bills. I emailed her the information that was sent to me, was told she would call me back. She never did. Received a call today saying [redacted] dropped the $190.00 for the equipment. Which is not true because that is not the amount of the eqipment, it's $160 for the equipment They just kept saying you have to pay this balance and that I have to pay my bills, insinuating that I don't pay my bills. He accused me of lying, fought about the meaning of incorrect vs wrong, and refused to hear anything I said. Very RUDE!!Desired Settlement: I want a print out of the details of my final bill, the $192.48. I Do not feel comfortable paying an amount that I feel is incorrect. I am researching with [redacted] and trying to get this situation resolved. Stellar even said that the records are inaccurate. If they can not provide a print out within 7 days, I want it removed from my credit. OR, I will pay the $32.48, since that is the actual total of the final bill not including the equipment, AND it removed from my credit.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 05-05-2013, our office did receive a past due billing from [redacted] for a [redacted] for services at [redacted] IL 60482, with the final billing date of 03-16-2009, the billing shows both services and equipment were included in the balance assigned to our office. It appears that we didnt speak with the consumer until 07-29-2013 and had several conversations with the consumer regarding what was equipment charges and what were service charges, because these charges get somewhat complicated and our information is limited on the billing, if a discrepancy exits, we often ask that the consumer contact [redacted] directly as they have additional resources to investigate the actual charges inccurred. It appears that Ms. [redacted] did contact and [redacted] and resported back to our agents that [redacted] had indicated that $192.00 was owed total on this account. On 07-31-2013, we did receive an "adjustment" that was applied from [redacted] for $190.00 making the balance in our office of $192.48. On 07-31-2013, we spoke again with the consumer with this information and she indicated that we were wrong and that [redacted] was telling her a different story and indicated that she would follow up and send the inforamtion to us in writting. We have pulled the last 3 invoices from [redacted] and have mailed these invoices to Ms. [redacted] at the address provided by the Revdex.com. Because she seems not to want to deal with our Agents, we have closed the file as disputed and have also returned the file to our Client. Ms. [redacted] can review these documents and deal direstly with [redacted] regarding the balance due. We have also ordered deletion of the credit reporting to all of the Credit Reporting Agencies based on her dispute.

Regards,

Review: Stellar Recovery has been calling my cell phone for some time now. They are using different phone numbers and tying up my cell phone leaving messages regarding someone I don't know. My cell number is a recycled number and this bill collector has been calling even after I have filed complaints letting them know I am not this individual. The only messages on my cell voice mail is Stellar Recovery asking for someone and then saying if I'm not this person to ignore the call. I cannot ignore the calls because they have become a nuisance and they are costing me because I do not have unlimited minutes on my cell phone.Desired Settlement: I want Stellar Recovery to immediately stop calling and/or contacting me in any way because I am not the person they are seeking. Them changing phone numbers and continuing to harrass me has made me very angry. I am a step away from getting an attorney to stop the harrassment.

Stellar Recovery has reviewed the complaint filed by [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] indicates that we have been calling a wrong number, the two phone numbers given to the Revdex.com were ###-###-#### and ###-###-####. Thank you for providing the wrong number being called, we reviewed the statement again with the Revdex.com and the number being called ###-###-#### was not listed. We have also put the phone number into our do not call list, this will prevent it from being called if it ever comes back into our system. We apologize for the calls being made to a wrong number. There will be no further calls made to ###-###-####.
