Review: This company has been calling my mother constantly stating that they are looking for me, sending marshalls to my mother's house to arrest me, and that they have filed a lawsuit against me for some debt. they have never called me. I do not live with my mother and haven't for over 20 years. I do not even live in the same state. The only reason I was finally able to determine who it was that was calling my mother was from caller ID. She asked who they were every time they called and no one would give an answer. I have checked all of my credit reports and they state that I have no negative reports & ZERO bills in collections, plus I have never received a letter from this or any other company about a debt. This appears to me to be fraud, but since they refuse to identify themselves when they call my mother, there give no way for me to contact them.

My mother is elderly & cannot take the constant abusive & threatening phone calls that have nothing to do with her- or me, for that matter! I would like the calls to stop!Desired Settlement: I would like this company to cease all communications with my family.

Stellar

Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Stellar has no

record of an account in our office for Ms. [redacted]. Ms.[redacted]’s claims are very

concerning and has Stellar worried that another company may be fraudulently

using our number to spoof dial consumers. Stellar does not conduct business in

this way and would never make false arrest threats to our consumers. Ms. [redacted]

please reach out to our Director of Compliance [redacted] to

help assist in this matter.

Review: [redacted] collection appeared on record. No call or actual attempts to collect. Account over 3 years old, and resulted from a cosigned contract I was not aware had gone bad. Called in, explained and paid in full same week. Asked representative to delete record from report (again, account has been paid in full with an explanation). 2 weeks later, record still on my account. I disputed and Stellar Recovery confirmed the account. What's the problem here guys?Desired Settlement: Please delete the record.

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our office did receive a past due billing for [redacted] in the name of [redacted] for services at [redacted]. It appears we spoke with the consumer on 01-27-2014 and she resolved the file and the account is paid in full. Ms. [redacted] indicated to the agent that the error in non-payment was due to another individual involved, as a result, we did ask for deletion of the credit reporting rather than reporting the file as paid in full. We do not control the amount of time involved by the Credit Reporting Agencies to follow through on the deletion request but have also performed a manual AUD deletion request to all Credit Reporting Agencies. The confirmation number for this request is [redacted], date 02-12-2014.

Review: In January of 2015 Stellar Recovery, Inc. placed a collection account in the amount of $186.77 on my credit report. I had no idea what this was about, so I called and spoke to a representative who informed me that this is a collection account from [redacted]. When they advised me what the service location was, I knew that this was a debt that incurred by someone else using my information. I spoke to the person who actually created this account in my name, and I do not intend to pursue a legal path because I do not want to mess up someone's life over $187.00. I had not received any notification of this debt prior to it showing up on my credit report which violates my rights under the FCRA. The representative I spoke to did not even have my correct address, which I provided to him. I got my first written communication regarding this collection on January 28th, 2015.

On February 9th, 2015 I called Stellar Recovery, Inc. and spoke to [redacted] – to confirm the original delinquency date on this debt was January 15th 2011 - and then to a supervisor, [redacted], (I would like to at this point stress the fact that both representatives I spoke to were very polite) and offered to pay this debt in full under the condition that it be removed from all credit bureaus, and is not to be reported again. I requested this based on the fact I was unaware for FOUR YEARS that a delinquent account in such a small amount of $187.00 even existed in my name. Had I know, I would have taken care of it before it ever impacted my credit. At this point, my very good credit has taken a huge hit; one of my credit cards has reduced my credit limit because of this inappropriately reported delinquency, and my attempt to refinance my home is in serious jeopardy. It is completely inappropriate to go FOUR YEARS without notification and then start claiming debts. I wouldn’t have any documentation on this debt had I not provided Stellar Recovery, Inc. with my address. I will still pay this debt (which Stellar Recovery, Inc. will recoup a substantial profit from, I am sure), if Stellar Recovery, Inc. agrees in writing to forcibly remove this item from all credit bureaus and not to report it again.Desired Settlement: I want Stellar Recovery, Inc. to remove this inappropriately reported collection account from all credit bureaus in exchange for full payment.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of an inquiry made by [redacted]. On 11-23-2014 our office did receive a past due billing from [redacted] for a [redacted] for services at [redacted] with a SS # ending in [redacted] for $186.77. A demand letter was mailed on 12-15-2014 to the address on file. Our records show that on 1-12-2015, we spoke with the consumer and she indicated that this was appearing on her credit report, told the agent she got this account opened for a friend and would get the funds from this friend and call us back to pay the file in full. She also updated the address and another demand letter was mailed on 1-12-2015 to the new address. Our records also show that she talked with an Agent and Manager today and wanted a "pay to delete" agreement and was advised that we do not have a "pay to delete" policy. The consumer indicated to the Revdex.com that she considers this file was opened in her name by another person, for that reason, we have closed this file as fraud and will return it to [redacted] as such. We have ordered a manual deletion of the credit reporting, confirmation # for the deletion request is [redacted], please allow time for the credit reporting agencies to process this request. In the future, if Ms. [redacted] or the person who fraudulently opened the account in her name wishes to pay this account, they are welcome to contact [redacted] directly, the original account number is [redacted]. Again, the credit reporting has been ordered deleted and the file has been properly closed as "fraud."

Review: I had pulled my credit report to learn about this agency reporting on my credit reports for awhile. I contacted them stating I had no knowledge of this account nor did I ever receive any letters or phone calls. Because I do not want anything on my credit negative I was told by a Jessica that if I paid in full that this would not be disputed and would be removed from all 3 credit agencies. so I went ahead and paid it IN FULL just to not have to deal with these people and to fix the negative remark on my credit. I even disputed through one of the credit agencies and it is still showing as a collection. I feel I have been blatantly lied to for money. I also never received an email or a paid in full letter as was promised.Desired Settlement: I would like this removed from my credit to all 3 agencies as promised and stop scamming people out of money with empty promises because you know they want to fix wrong information. Thanks

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 02-04-2014, our office did receive a past due billing from [redacted] for a [redacted] for services at [redacted]. Our records indicate that the file was paid in full on 09-16-2014 and was reported as paid in full with a zero balance due to the credit reporting agencies. Our investigation shows we had conversation with the consumer on 08-19-2014 and then again on 09-15-2014. We have reviewed notes and the recorded calls for both dates. The information received from both our agents and managers were not clearly defined as it relates to the credit reporting on accounts, our agents are trained not to go into any detail on credit reporting except on the specific policies Stellar Recovery has regarding the reporting of these cases. Although the Agents did make it clear that Stellar Recovery does not have a "pay to delete" policy, they also made suggestions to the consumer on how she may have the credit reporting agencies delete the reporting after the file was paid in full. All employees who have spoken with the consumer have been counseled and written up. Because the agents gave information that clearly goes beyound what should have been discussed regarding credit reporting, we have ordered deletion of this file to all credit reporting agencies. We have performed a manual AUD deletion request for this file, confirmation # is [redacted]. The recordings also indicate that the agent would send out a paid in full letter, which she did not follow up on, and we have mailed a paid in full letter today to the [redacted] address.

Review: Our family hard hit in 2009 economic collapse. We have tried to avoid bankruptcy and scheduled sm payments w our creditors. Stellar recovery agreed to a pymt schedule. The last two months they have illegally ran our payments twice two months in a row. This also happened w them in the last yr or so. They did at that time rectify it. We schedule our super tight budget to the penny. I have called repeatedly they said they were filing a refund for two pymts it has been over three weeks now and the illegal monies they took still have not been returned. Here we are trying our best to do the right thing and they devasted our bank account and caused us huge undue stress and pressure from other creditors. Also the time out of our busy days trying to get it straight. Collections have no business pulling these tactics on hard working Americans trying to pay and do the right thing.Desired Settlement: Immediate refund of 2 pymts +$50 in damages as result fees frm bank Immediately without any hoops to go through. Just do right thing.

Response:

Stellar Recovery has received a complaint filed by [redacted]. We have completed our investigation of the complaint. [redacted] claims that for 2 months, double withdrawals were made for scheduled payments that were to be made. We did see double payments were made and have determined that on 08-06-2013, one of our agents spoke with the consumer and set up addtional payments for another agents file for 6 payments of $25.00 plus a convience fee of $9.50. A time reminder was set and the actual agent working this account saw the notes and added another set of payments of $25.00 plus a convience fee of $9.50 for similiar dates based on notes, but didnt realize the payments had already been set into the system, as a result, the payments were run multiple times each month. We were notified of the error and were ask to refund a total of 3 payments plus the fee for a total of $103.50. This was set up in t;he system to refund on 11-08-2013. We did this process through our "[redacted]" system which should put the funds back into the account identified in the refund. We got a rejection of the refund on 11-10-2013, but were unable to identify the file associated with the rejection. The agent or manager who had requested the refund must have identified the wrong account or routing number in the refund. If [redacted] can call my office, I will be happy to get the correct information needed and also be happy to credit any bank charges incurred as a result of our error. I attempted to call [redacted], but got voice mail this afternoon. She can call [redacted], at ###-###-#### , ext [redacted] or e mail me at [redacted] . We absolutely have made multiple errors regarding this file and will be happy to make this right. I will look forward to [redacted] making contact so we can correct this errors.

Review: This company just recently (on Oct 25th) started to illegally report to the credit reporting agency [redacted] that I have a current and open collections account ([redacted]) with their company. This was never reported to the CRAs before now. This completely inaccurate furnishing negative information regarding the above-referenced account to a major CRA's is in violation of the reporting requirements of the FCRA and for which this company is responsible. I filed bankruptcy in December of last year and any debt this company was trying to collect on would have been automatically included. As of the time of filing, they were bound by the permanent stay issued by the federal bankruptcy court and were forbidden to make ANY collection attempts on this debt, and the FTC has issued an opinion letter stating that continued reporting to a credit bureau like your company is in fact continued collection activity.Desired Settlement: remove any mention of this inaccurate debt from all CRAs within 10 days.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of an inquiry made by [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] indicated that Stellar Recovery began reporting a past due billing on October 25, 2013 and further stated that he had filed for Bankrupcty in December of 2012. Our records indicate that a [redacted] file was placed in our office on 03-24-2011 for Services at [redacted]. Our records further indicate that we reported this "open Collection" to the Credit Reporting agencies beginning 03-24-2011. We also show that on 12-28-2012, we were notified of a Chapter 7 bankrupcty filing for this claim. Our policy is to change the reporting from "open Collections" to "bankruptcy" filing to the credit reporting agencies and we show that the filing to the Credit Reporting Agencies was reported as bankrupty. A recent decision was made by the corporation, to delete the credit reporting once we receive Bankruptcy information, all Bankrupt accounts were changed to "delete" on 10-25-2013. The Stellar Reporting will be deleted for this file, please allow time for the credit reporting agencies to respond to our deletion request.

Review: I am working on my credit, and trying to clear up certain items. I contacted Stellar Recovery. They had not previously contacted me to arrange settlement. I contacted them first. I spoke with a CSR named [redacted]. I told him that I wanted to pay off my delinquent account, and in exchange, I wanted it to be deleted from m y credit report. He said if I settled, I would not get it deleted, but he could send me the deletion letter if I paid the account in full. I agreed, but only if I could get the deletion letter saying it had been deleted from my Credit report. He assured me it would. I made the payment in full for $616. Three days letter, my email had not gotten the letter of payment in full, or deletion. I called again, and spoke to a different CSR named [redacted] (spelling?) She told me they do not do deletion letters at their company. I was confused, I told her that I was promised a letter of deletion if I paid the account in full. She said that it wasn't possible, that they don't offer that service. I then asked to speak to a manager. She transferred me to [redacted], who identified himself as a supervisor. I told him my situation. He informed me again, as [redacted] did, that they do not offer that service, and that "Frankly, it is illegal to offer to delete something off someone's credit," and also that "It was because of people like me who did not pay my bills that the economy was in such bad shape." I was confused by the first statement, because I had been given financial advice. The advice was to not pay anything if they wouldn't delete it from my credit report, which I would not have done, if they had told me from the beginning that they would not be able to supply the deletion letter. The additional fact of the supervisor suggesting that it was illegal for me to even ask for that to happen, was also quite frustrating.Desired Settlement: Since I did not get the desired result of the deletion letter when I had paid my account in full, I would like a full refund of the $616 that I paid, when I was told that would be the result. I even mentioned at the time before I paid the $616, and gave my card info, that I would ONLY pay the full amount if they could provide me with the deletion letter. At no time during the original conversation, where I supplied my payment information, was I told that the company does not offer that service. Ideally, I would like the deletion letter, but if I can't get that letter, I would like my money back to be able to apply it towards bills that will affect my credit positively, and not negatively. Thank you.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our office did receive a [redacted] file in the name of [redacted] on 04-10-2013 for services at [redacted]. On 03-25-2014, we did speak with the consumer, we have pulled the recordings of this conversation and while our office does not provide a "Pay for Deletion" option, the agent from Stellar did clearly indicate that we "could request a letter as soon as it is paid." when answering a question from the consumer of "could she get this deleted from her CBR and get a deletion letter." We did have a representative from our compliance department call Ms. [redacted] today and inform her that we would be sending a paid in full letter and would also order deletion of this from all credit reporting agencies. The manual AUD deletion confirmation is [redacted]. The Stellar agent indicated that she was talking about a paid in full letter, not a deletion letter, but we felt the nature of call caused some confusion and we do apologize for that. The account is paid in full, we have ordered deletion of the credit reporting and will be sending the requested letters to the consumer.

Regards,

Review: This company first started calling my parents house number. After receiving notice from my dad that they were trying to contact me, I called them. They said they were calling on behalf of Comcast regarding the final bill after we discontinued service with them. They told me the amount owed was $370. I wanted to get this taken care of so I started providing payment information. I started looking through my old bills and thought to myself that the amount they stated seemed too high. I told her I did not want to make the payment and that I was going to call Comcast to verify the bill amount. She said I could call her back. Sure enough, I call Comcast and they say they show my final bill as $230. I asked them why Steller was showing a higher amount and they weren't sure. I advised I would call back and make a payment directly with them, Comcast. I called Steller back right away and told her I was not sure why she was telling me I owed so much more. I advised her I just spoke with Comcast and was going to pay them directly. She stated she would make sure the payment I first was in the process of making would not go through and she would mark my account as "promise to pay." Of course, I check my bank account and the payment came out when she told me it would not. I called them 20 times using the number on their website and it does not work. It says, "the extension you are trying to reach is unavailable." At this current moment I have been sitting on hold for 17 minutes on a different number hoping that I have found a successful alternative number. Terrible business and am disgusted with them.Desired Settlement: I would like them to return my money and take off any negative reporting they may have submitted to any credit agency.

Response:

Stellar Recovery has reviewed the complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records indicate that a Comcast past due billing was received in our office on 03-08-2015 with a Balance due of $370.32. Comcast indicated that a total of $230.32 was for Services and $140.00 for unreturned equipment. We show that we did speak with the spouse on 03-25-2015, the agent noted that they have the equipment to return, but wanted to take care of this billing and gave account information for payment of $370.32. Our notes indicated that the consumer called back into our office about an hour later and told the agent that she had called Comcast and paid them the balance due of $230.32. The agent, however, did not cancel the payment from the earlier call and the payment did run on 03-27-2015. We have not pulled the recorded calls at this point, but we will and will review with our agent to deteremine why the payment was not deleted from the system as directed by the consumer. We have ordered the payment to be reversed and the funds with be credited back to the account it had been withdrawn from. We do apologize for the error made by our agent on not cancelling the payment as directed.

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I spoke with a Supervisor on Saturday, March 28th, who assured me the funds would be back in my account as long as my bank does not hold the funds. I went into my bank today because the funds are still not there and the bank sees no sign of a credit. The Bank Advised They would not hold the payment. I called back today and spoke with [redacted] who could not tell my wife that the credit was put through Or not. At this point I want my money back now. No reason this should take 2 weeks. You easily took out my money now easily put it back.

Response:

Stellar Recovery has received a notice of concern from [redacted]. We do show that the payment was credited through our billing service on 4-06-2015, confirmation # was given as [redacted]. We checked with Billing Tree and confirmed that the credit was processed to the consumers financial entity on that date, our service supplier indicated that it is up to the consumers financial institution on how and what time frame they process these credits, but verification on our end has been confirmed.

Review: I initially disputed this account because I had no clue where it came from but because it happened so long ago and they stated it was from [redacted], I could not guarantee that it was not my bill. I called on March 28th to resolve the issue and I explained to the person who helped me I would not be able to make the payment until April 26th, so I set up an automated payment to come out of my account on that date. Well since then my car broke down so of course that has become my priority considering I can not get to work without it, no work-no money-no one gets paid. I called today to see if I can make other arrangements and first I spoke with a man and he said he would get me the agent that assisted me. I was placed on hold and then a lady came on the line and was extremely rude telling me that they will put me in the system as defaulting on the account, but its already in collections which in my mind it has already defaulted right? Anyway, never got a chance to make another arrangement and then she proceeds to tell me that the account was never suppose to be pushed out that far for payment anyway. Now how am I suppose to know that if the lady didn't tell me. Had that been explained to me prior then I would have made other arrangements, so the fact that I am contacting them to payoff this debt and their response is to be extremely rude because I cannot make the payment when they want is a problem. I would think because I am trying to resolve the debt, they would be willing to work with me but at this point all I can do is set a new date and apparently they were not interested in that.Desired Settlement: Would like to set a new date for May 25, 2013 for the full amount or settle the account for a lower amount if they want payment sooner. This is absolutely ridiculous that I have to make a complaint about a debt that I am trying to resolve but cannot do so because they are extremeley rude and threatening me.

Stellar Recovery has received the complaint filed by [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] has had a [redacted] file in our office since 05-18-2010, on 03-28-2013, we received a call from this consumer, she indicated that she "was paying off a couple of things that were on her credit report." She indicated that no funds were available until 04-26-2013 and we postdated a payment per her request. Today, Ms. [redacted] called our office and said those funds were not going to be good. The arrangement for payment was deleted from our system. The recording was reviewed of this call, the agent was not rude, she did express the fact that we did allow almost a month for the payment to be good and our normal business model doesnt extend that period of time. There are no arrangments currently on this file and we suggest that Ms. [redacted] make contact with us when she does have the funds available and we will be happy to accomidate her request for payment at that time. She is always welcome to make the payment on line as well , at [redacted] or she can e mail our information line at [redacted] if she would prefer not to talk directly with one of our agents.

Glad it was recorded because the agent I spoke with was rude and was practically yelling through the phone. I had to turn down the volume to even understand what she was saying. I see how it was clearly stated how I can get in contact with them when I'm ready for payment but the threatening remarks that were made in regards to this account still was not address. I'm not making any payments if this is moving forward to court, leins, or anything else.

Review: While applying for a mortgage on a new home a credit report was pulled which showed that I had an account in collections with Stellar Recovery from Comcast . I never received a bill for unpaid charges or notification prior to going to collections and this has put a negative mark on my credit report . Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records indicate that a past due billing with Comcast was sent to our office on 7-31-2014 in the name of [redacted] for services at [redacted]. A notice letter was mailed to this address on 08-01-2014 from our office. It does appear that we attempted to make contact by telephone with the consumer at a number provided by the client. Our records do show that we made contact with consumer on 09-29-2014, our notes indicate that after we identified the consumer, she hung up on the agent. Per the notification from the consumer to the Revdex.com to stop calls, we have placed this file as a "cease and desist" notification and all phone numbers have been removed and restricted from calls. We have advised Comcast of the notification and they have provided validation documents for the account with copies of invoices for 06-10-2013, 06-03-2014and 05-03-2013. We have mailed these validation documents to the address provided in the Revdex.com complaint. The file has been closed on the Stellar Recovery side as "cease and desist" and will be returned to Comcast. All Credit reporting has been ordered deleted on this file. The consumer is welcome to contact Comcast directly regarding the file # [redacted] after she reviews the validation documents sent this date.

Review: As part of an effort to collect a debt on behalf of COMCAST, Stellar Recovery reported a debt to the credit reporting agencies in August 2014, stating the debt was from OCT 2013. The debt is in the amount of $1237.00. I have never received any notices prior to this and was not notified before they reported to the credit bureaus. I do not have any knowledge of this account. I called to have this issue corrected and was told to by management and the collection representative to go to my storage unit and return the equipment to COMCAST before this issue could be corrected. I'd like to add that they have and continue to engage in fraudulent credit collection practices. Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 10-15-2013, our office did receive a file from Comcast for services for [redacted] for services at [redacted]. Our records indicate that a letter was mailed to the address on file on 10-18-2013 and another letter was sent on 03-11-2014. Our records indicate that we spoke with the consumer on 08-22-2014 and the agent was told that spouse lost his job, and this put them behind, indicated that the spouse was now back to work and called into office to talk about a settlement on the file. We further show that the consumer offered a settlement below what we were able to except on this file and she indicated to our agent and a manager that she would discuss this directly with Comcast. A new address was given on this date but it appears to be a different address than given to the Revdex.com. Based on the complaint, we checked with our client and were informed that validation documents were not available for this file, and as a result we have closed the file as disputed and will return the file to Comcast. Credit reporting has been requested to be deleted. The consumer is welcome to continue to contact the original client regarding this dispute. We have sent via e mail address given to the Revdex.com, a closure letter on this file.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a follow up concern for this consumer, [redacted]. As indicated in our response, we have ordered deletion of the credit reporting in this case, the consumer will need to allow time for the credit reporting agencies to process the request, the deletion has been completed on our end. A reminder, that our client is still claiming that this is a valid debt, the validation documents were not available on a timely basis by the client and it is our policy that if these documents cannot be made available on a timely basis (30 days from request), we close the file and return it to our cient, which is what we have done. The consumer is welcome to deal directly with the original client regarding any future dispute for the case.

These guys claimed I owed $30 to a cable company I'm positive I closed all my debts with before moving out. It has been half a decade since I even used that company. I think someone needs to look into what they are doing.

I was called by one of the reps at Stellar Recovery. It was a TERRIBLE call. I talked to a guy named [redacted]. He was the rudest phone rep I have ever had a conversation with. He did not listen to what I was saying. He only tried forcing me to pay a debt. He was overly aggressive with me and I was trying to set up a payment plan. I can't believe they let people like [redacted] work for their company. He has NO social skills at all. He was pretty much trying to bully me into giving him money like it was his to start with. I get the strong vibe that they work on commission. [redacted] must really need money bad smh. I did not pay the debt with him. I refused. I am paying it off with someone else. I wish [redacted] would choose a better company to outsource to.

Whoever this is calls two or three times a day, when I answer they hang up,when I do not answer they do not leave a message or call back number. This is bordering harassment,

Review: This collection agency is reporting on my credit as PAID collection. I have never received anything from this collection agency and have only dealt with the original creditor([redacted]). They are falsely reporting an account in collections and I have contacted them twice about this matter. They state that if I would have paid them they'd delete it but I have never even been contacted by them. I only worked with [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like this Collection Agency to stop reporting to all credit reporting agencies .

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records do show a file was sent to our office from [redacted] on 6-3-2015 for a [redacted] for services at [redacted]. Our records further show that a demand letter was mailed to this address from our office on 06-09-2015. Our records also indicate that we spoke with the consumer on 07-08-2015, we have reviewed that call and our agent gave all information properly regarding this file to the consumer, the consumer indicated "that this was dealt with a long time ago, [redacted] had billed her incorrectly and she was trying to figure out why this was in collections." The agent did not indicate that if the file was paid through Stellar the credit reporting would be deleted. On 7-10-2015, we were notified that the consumer paid [redacted] and the account was properly noted as paid in full and reported as such to the credit reporting agencies. Stellar Recovery properly handled the collection and the reporting on this file. We have however, ordered deletion of the credit reporting (confirmation # [redacted]) in the spirit of Consumer relations.

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Regards,

This is a collection agency that incessantly calls me, says nothing when I pick up, and leaves no message. I found out the true nature of their business from online search. I definitely have no debt for them to collect, and would like to request them to stop the harassment.

I keep getting calls on my cell phone from this number and they are absolutely RUDE and use FOUL language... they are looking for my ex and I told them to stop calling me and they won't! I will be reporting this company to the FDCPA and will be suing if they contact me again! They obviously have the wrong number!

Review: This company has refused to stop calling me repeatedly, daily, even though they have been asked to stop repeatedly and have been told they have the wrong number. The person they are looking for is not at my number. This has been going on for such a long time that I consider it harassment.

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] indicates that we are calling a wrong number and have not removed the number when told that the number is bad. The only phone number we see on the complaint is ###-###-####, we do not find this number in our system. Our agents are trained to politely remove any wrong numbers in our system, if calls continue, Ms. [redacted] is welcome to call me direct at ###-###-#### ext [redacted]) or e mail me at [redacted]

Review: They had told me they would not be reporting the collection to credit bureuah and it was a condition of payment, as I was in a dispute with comcast over the balance. Balanace was paid and they continue to show it on my credit report a year later.Desired Settlement: Please remove item from my credit report

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records indicate that Stellar Recovery received a Comcast account in our office on 4-15-2014 for a [redacted] for Services at [redacted]. Our investigation shows that the file in our office from Comcast was paid in full on 5-20-2014. We have reviewed all recordings related to Mr. [redacted]’s account and did not identify any information provided to Mr. [redacted] indicating that the account would be deleted from this credit report. However, since there may have been a misunderstanding, Stellar Recovery has completed a deletion request. The account is now closed as paid in full and credit reporting has been requested to be deleted, please allow the Credit Reporting Agencies up to 30 days to complete this request.
