Stellar Recovery, Inc. Reviews (387)

Review: On 10/22/15 I called Stellar Recovery, Inc in regards to a collection I had paid (in full) on a old outstanding debt. I asked to receive a letter of deletion so I may use such letter to have the collection removed from my credit report on the 3 large credit report bureaus. After much hassle, I was bluntly told: "No, we will remain compliant with the Fair Credit Report Act, and no such letter can or will be issued."

The comment of "we will remain compliant with the Fair Credit Report Act" was their way of falsely telling me that it was illegal to do so and they were not going to issue such letter. This is completely inaccurate.Desired Settlement: I would like a letter of deletion from this company, stating that my debt has been pain in full and will be deleted from my credit report on ALL THREE credit reporting bureaus. (TransUnion, Equifax and Experian)

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records indicate that a file was placed in our office by Century Link on 02-13-2015 under the name of [redacted] with an address listed as [redacted]. We show that the file was paid in full on 5-6-15. On 10-22-2015, our records indicate that we spoke with Mr. [redacted] and he requested a deletion of the credit reporting, we show that we properly have reported this file as first, an open collection account and then a paid in full account to all credit reporting agencies. Mr. [redacted] was given information by our agent that we do not offer a "Pay to Delete" policy and that the file was properly being reported under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We also show that we sent via e mail, a paid in full letter to the consumer. Our investigation of the matter, shows that we attempted to send a demand letter on 2-14-2015 to the address given by the client and it was returned as undeliverable on 3-26-2015. Since Mr. [redacted] may not have received this demand notification, we have ask for a manual AUD deletion of the credit reporting for this case, confirmation number is [redacted]. Please allow time for the credit reporting agencies to process this request.

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution will be satisfactory to me as long as the "AUD deletion" of this collection will be reported and removed from ALL THREE credit bureaus (TransUnion, Esperian, and Equifax) in a timely matter. Thank you.

Review: Stellar Recovery has been trying to contact me via my cell phone for the past few months and also recently began calling at my parent's home phone number and I have not lived at my parent's address for many years, they were also looking for me by my maiden name, I have been married for 2 years and everything has legally been changed name wise and all account addresses have been updated appropriately. My husband finally called Stellar Recovery back today to get more information as they have now begun contacting my parents but they would not provide any further information to my father and would not leave any voicemail on my phone indicating the reason for their call. My husband spoke to someone with my permission and I was listening to the call, the lady was very short and not very polite. The lady stated that they have a collections from Comcast that totaled $84.63, from April 27, 2015 for my previous residence address and that they received the notice from Comcast June 14, 2015. We stated that we were going to call Comcast before taking any further action such as payment as we could see that we were up to date on payment for our account. The lady she automatically stated that she was going to put that we were disputing the collections notice if we weren't going to pay it today and we tried to ask her for her name but she hung up without so much as a goodbye.

We contacted Comcast directly and explained the situation with Stellar Recovery. Comcast stated that there was not any past due amount for the address Stellar Recovery referenced or notes on the account that anything was sent to collections and furthermore stated that we had a credit of $59.57 on that address referenced when we spoke to Stellar Recovery and the credit was transferred to our current account when we moved. The comcast representative suggested we contact Stellar Recovery again and ask them to provide us with thel account number to determine if it matched the account number comcast has on file for the residence Stellar Recovery was referencing and to ensure this was not a scam.

We contacted Stellar Recovery again and explained to an [redacted] (unsure of spelling) that we spoke with Comcast and that they showed we had no past due amounts on our accounts. We then asked for a comcast account number associated with the notice. [redacted] stated they did not have an account number or identifying information other than the phone number, address and name. I did not want to give them any further personal information as I felt this could be a scam since they could not give me any further identifying information regarding the comcast account.Desired Settlement: I would like Stellar Recovery to please stop contacting myself and my family members attempting to collect a debt which I do not owe. Stellar Recovery put on the supposed collection that my husband and I were disputing it and that they were sending it back to Comcast I fear that they may contact me again saying Comcast sent it back to them again as the dispute was not valid and they will still seek payment. I feel as though my identity is being threatened and I do not like being harassed.

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records indicate that Comcast did place a file in our office on 06-01-2015 under the name of [redacted] for Services at [redacted] in the amount of $84.63. The information provided by Comcast indicated that this account was from 4-27-2015, the original account number with Comcast is listed as [redacted]. We are reviewing the recorded calls made to our agents regarding this file, we do not understand why the agent couldn't or wouldn't provide the original account number associated with this Comcast file. The agent did close the file as disputed after the phone call on 08-13-2015 and noted that the consumer would contact Comcast directly regarding this disputed account. Mrs. [redacted] has ask that Stellar discontinue collection efforts on this file, we will leave the file closed as disputed and return to Comcast. If Mrs. [redacted] has any further questions, she is welcome to contact Comcast.

Revdex.com,

My husband and I are in direct contact with Comcast (speaking with them again on 8/14/15 in reference to this alleged collection/debt as there now appears to be an error on the part of Comcast. We have ensured that if there is any actual debt that we owe that we can work directly with Comcast and not deal with Stellar Recovery any longer. They were in agreement. I do want to indicate that Stellar Recovery did not reference me correctly in their response, my name was [redacted] NOT [redacted]. It seems pretty unprofessional that they cannot reference their files correctly. I hope that they keep their word and do not contact me any longer. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Regards,

Review: Stellar Recovery called last month and I told them that I would make a payment of $66.90. I told them that I would make a payment once a month for 2 more months and get it paid off so that it won't be on my credit history or it would come off of my credit history. I checked my account today and they (Stellar Recovery) charged my checking account on the 15th like an auto pay.

I called Stellar Recovery, and spoke to "[redacted]" and she said that I agreed to make a payment for the next 2 months. I told her yes, I did when they called because my paydays fall on different days and I was waiting for a call from them which never came. [redacted] said that they pulled it on the 14th of April and that they could pull the remainder of the past due bill for $57.62 and be paid in full. I told her "No you can not because I did not authorized a auto pay". [redacted] told me that I better call them before the 15th of May and pay the remainder of the bill. I told [redacted] that I was going to call my bank and contact the Revdex.com, [redacted] told me" Mam you call whoever or do what ever you feel you need to do".

I then hung up and called my bank. The bank has lodged a complaint for me.

Thank you,

Respectfully,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund the amount of $66.90 and let me decide when I am able to pay them.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 2-28-2014, our office did receive a past due billing from [redacted] for [redacted] for services at [redacted]. We spoke with the consumer on 03-25-2014. We record all calls and have reviewed the call in detail. The agent and the Ms. [redacted] agreed on 3 payments, 2 payments of $66.90 and the final payment for 57.39 and Ms. [redacted] gave Debit card information for the first payment of $66.90. The agent then said "ok, so you are authorizing a payment for today since its the 15th and for the 15-17 of each month." The agent was not specific as to the fact that she was putting the payments for April and May actually into the system as post dated payments The conversation then turned to getting an e mail adress to send a receipt for the payment and the agreement for the 3 payments, we do not send receipts or an agreement letter for payments and the agent should not have indicated that. The Agent then stated, "so, you are authorizing Stellar to deduct the payments from your card ending in[redacted], and the consumer says, "correct." . Since the agent thought she had made it clear but we beleive the consumer may not have been clear on the process, we have ask one of our compliance handlers to phone Ms. [redacted], explain the call and if Ms. [redacted] would like the payment refunded, process that request for her.

Review: Stellar Recovery is calling my home asking for [redacted]. There is no one living in my home with that name. I told them and they are still calling my home.Desired Settlement: I want Stellar Recovery to stop calling my home. They said they would remove my phone number, but they do not honor what they say. They keep on harrassing people that have nothing to do with their collecting issues.

Response:

Stellar Recovery has received a complaint filed by [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] indicates that we called a wrong number of ###-###-####. Our records do indicate that the phone number of ###-###-#### was in our system for a contact number for a [redacted]. WE show that 4 calls were made to that number. On the fourth call, our system was notified by the consumer that this was a wrong number and Ms. [redacted] also spoke with one of agents and the phone number was removed and placed into our internal do not call list. We apologize the calls but also indicate that the number was properly removed when notified.

Review: hello I received a notice that I owe this company 447.44 I called them on 2-11-2014 and informed them that I dispute this amount and the amount that I owed was way below that

the Representative informed me that the only way she would accept to even listen to me is if I pay 300 dollars if not they will report me to credit agencyDesired Settlement: to please provide me with a detailed explanation of charges and allow me the time to response

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 12-13-2013, our office was assigned a [redacted] file for services under the name of [redacted] for services at [redacted] in the amount of $847.44. On 01-09-2014 a credit was received for equipment from [redacted] in the amount of $400.00 leaving a balance due of $447.44 for services. We spoke with [redacted] on 02-11-2014, we reviewed the recorded call. The consumer advised she returned equipment and agent gave her information we had on the credits issued. The consumer advised that she only owed "around 200-300 maximum." The agent then advised her to pay the amount that was not disputed and the file would be closed as disputed after the payment was made. The consumer said she was concerned that the remaining balance would continue to show on her credit. The agent then told the consumer that she would dispute the remaining portion of the file. Consumer ask if we had a copy of the last billing, agent advised we did not. The consumer was not willing to pay the undisputed amount. The agent then closed the file disputed. The file will be returned to [redacted] as disputed and credit reporting has been ordred deleted on this file. This file has been closed in office, [redacted] can deal directly with [redacted] regarding this file in the future.

Review: I received an update on my credit report from stellar recovery. I called them and they said I owed them $437 from [redacted]. I have [redacted] right now so this seems very fishy to me. I never received a letter from stellar before they reported to the credit agencies which is a violation a FCRA. The agent I spoke to said they sent a letter, but when I asked for the address they sent to, all he would give me is the city and state. He wanted me to pay immediately and and in a threatening tone said I better figure it out in 24 hours. I asked him to mail me a letter or in the very least email me something, so I could call [redacted] and see if this is a valid debt. I have not received an email. I have no problem paying this if it is in fact a valid debt.Desired Settlement: First and foremost, I would like stellar to remove all negative items to all three credit reporting agencies immediately since I never received an letter before being reported to the credit agencies. I would like a letter validating this debt and given my right to dispute this debt within the 30 day grace period.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records indicate that we did receive a past due billing from [redacted] in the name of [redacted] in the amount of $436.71 on 01-12-2015. We do show a demand letter was ordered on 1-31-2015, but we also note that the address we received from [redacted] was incomplete as the street address had a name of "[redacted]". Our records do indicate that we spoke with this consumer on 02-28-2015 and the consumer ask for a placement letter and we do show a letter was ordered to be sent to an e mail address we had of [redacted] and that letter was ordered on 03-02-2015. We did listen to the call on 02-28-2015 and the Agent did not give the level of customer support we do require but the consumer was also being difficult and demanding. Based on the Revdex.com complaint, we have requested validation of this debt from [redacted] and will forward those documents to the consumer when we receive them. We also show that our office has two other files in our office under his name, one is [redacted] and is closed and another is a [redacted] account ([redacted]) which is still open in our office. All files are associated with the name and SS # ending in [redacted]. The [redacted] file has been put on hold during the validation period, if validation documents are not available, the file will be closed and returned to the client and we have updated the address of the consumer. Credit reporting has been ordered deleted on the [redacted] file as well.

Review: I agreed for payments to be taken each Friday. The company went and took the money on a Monday without any notifications when I called the supervisors was extremely rude and told me I should handle my accounts better and other mean things. I asked for the overdraft fee from my bank to be refunded because I did not tell them to withdraw they disagreed and continued to say rude things. I feel that if the money was taken without my agreement that it should be returned and they should own up to there mistake is a professional manner. Not insult the customersDesired Settlement: $35 credit to my account

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our investigation shows that a file was placed into our office by Comcast on 11-27-2015 for a [redacted] for services at [redacted]. It appears we spoke with the consumer on 12-8-2015 and agree to payments to be set up for Fridays. Our system shows payments were set up and the recordings indicate that the agent did advise that 2 of the payments, for the dates of 12-25-2015 and 01-01-2016 would be rolled over to Mondays as these were non banking dates of Christmas and New Years. Our system will also automatically roll the payments to the next banking day if the payment is set up on a scheduled non banking holiday. We also show that we spoke with the consumer again on 12-29-2015 and attempted again to explain that the Friday payments were scheduled for Christmas and New Years would roll over to the following Monday as our office and all banks are closed on those 2 Fridays. The agent, on that date, cancelled all future payments in our system. The consumer is welcome to contact Comcast directly for any future payments, the file will be closed and returned to the client.

Review: This company has been placing telephone calls to my phone number [###-###-####] requesting to speak with [redacted]. That person does not, and has not for since the time my family acquired said phone number in about 2008.

Though I follow the prompts listed on the menu I am not allowed to speak with an attendant (which is illegal).

The number that shows on caller ID [###-###-####] is a dead number (which is illegal).

The number on which I receive these calls is on the East Coast (Florida) and several times recently they have called after 11PM.

The toll-free number listed in the message will not allow for speaking with a person.Desired Settlement: First, stop harassing me. Second, remove this number from your lists and never call it again.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of an inquiry by [redacted] for calling a wrong number. We attempted to locate the number in our system from the information provided in this inquiry, we were unable to locate any calls to the Daytime phone number or the number ###-###-####, which came up as one of our locally owned numbers. We were able to contact Mr. [redacted] directly and he gave us the actual phone number that was being called as ###-###-#### and it was attached to a consumer in Oregon. We indicated to Mr. [redacted] that we were able to locate and remove the number and place the number into our internal do not call list. Mr. [redacted] indicated that they use to live in Washington State and the area code was showing as such but then moved to the east coast and took this number with them, our computers would show the area code as west coast timing and that was the reason for the later calls. Mr. [redacted] was very cooperative and we did apologize for the calls made.

Stellar Recovery has received and investigated a Revdex.com complaint filed by [redacted]. The phone number of ###-###-#### was associated with two seperate files in our office, one for [redacted] and one for a [redacted]. There were 6 outbound calls made to the number on the [redacted] file, no outbound calls on the [redacted] file. There were 2 inbound calls made from ###-###-#### on 05-07-2014. We have pulled all recordings, the first was inbound from a [redacted], the agent had two files coming up on his screen, he ask for [redacted], then ask for a [redacted], Mr. [redacted] said yes, he name is [redacted] but we are calling for [redacted]. The call became confused as Mr. [redacted] couldnt understand why we were asking for two different people, the agent attempted to verify a social security name and Mr. [redacted] said it was not his. Both parties on this call were less than professional. The agent has been counseled and written up and the call reviewed with him. The consumer called in again, and spoke with another agent, and indicated we were calling him and asking for [redacted],his name is [redacted] and wanted to speak with a manager. The manager spoke with the consumer, advised her that our agent was rude and attempted to apologize for askinging for the wrong name and attempted to explain the phone number was attached to 2 different files. The consumer ask for company information and it appered the call ended on good terms. The manager removed the phone number from both files associated with ###-###-#### and placed the number into our internal do not call list. We apologize for the confusion, most phone numbers are not attached to multile files and this was confusing to our agents trying to determine who they should be asking for.

Regards,

Review: For several years, I have been making monthly payments to Stellar in payment of a debt they purchased from Household Finance. Recently, I have had to quit work due to a medical disability. I have tried to meet the obligation to Stellar since then, but it recently became obvious that I would be forced either to file Chapter 7 bankruptcy including this debt, or come to a substantial reduced settlement. I wrote a letter Stellar dated June 16, 2015, Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested asking for their participation in the appropriate decision regarding this debt. When I received the signed returned receipt, I attempted to call Stellar but apparently the number I have is not routinely answered as it rang and rang. Stellar has made no attempt to contact me-at least I have not received a phone call or letter to discuss this settlement.Desired Settlement: At this point, it is becoming clear to me, given my current financial issues as a result of being on a medical disability, I see littlke option but to file Chapter 7 bankruptcy, unless Stellar is willing to charge off the remaining balance. Over the past 4+ years, Stellar has collected approximately $8000 in repayment of this purchased HFC charge off. I want to have an open and honest discussion about the best way to resolved this with hope that Chapter 7 can be avoided.

Response:

I have attempted to contact Stellar Recovery by phone to resolve this but the call goes to voice mail and then a message comes on the phone that indicates the mailbox is full. I have written a second letter to Stellar indicating my desire to be in touch with them to arrive at a settlement, but I have still had no contact with them.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records indicate that we did receive a Comcast account in our office on 4-26-2015 for a [redacted] for Services at a [redacted] address. If Ms. [redacted] has never lived in [redacted], she will need to contact our office to verify the social security number listed on the account to determine if this account is fraud or an error of wrong party reporting by the credit reporting agencies. Ms. [redacted] can contact our office at [redacted], referring to file number [redacted]. Stellar will assist with getting this account cleared up upon contact.

Review: This company on more than one occasion has called our phone and home to collect a debt from a person we do not know, have never known and have never heard of. We have requested our number be taken out of their system and that they refrain from calling us. we still get calls from them. Our credit rating is very high. We have no debts that are not be paid and don't appreciate this intrusion. We will take legal action if it doesn't stop. My wife and I are both disabled. This is just continued harassment by this company.Desired Settlement: They had better never call us again.

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a wrong number complaint filed by [redacted]. Mr [redacted] has indicated that we are "calling our phone and home to collect a debt." The phone number provided in the complaint was ###-###-####. Our records do not indicate that the phone number is now or has ever been in our system. If there is another phone number that we can research, we would be happy to do do that, our intent is certainly not to continue to call a wrong number. Mr. [redacted] is Welcome to call our office with any additional information at ###-###-####, ext [redacted] and ask for [redacted] or e mail with additional contact information for investigation at [redacted]. We apologize for the calls but have been unable to locate the number given in our system.

The correct phone number is ###-###-#### that Stellar Recovery has been calling. Not ###-###-####.

Review: Stellar Recovery was contracted by Comcast Cable to handle the collection of a debt in my name that was never actually owed by me. It was a billing error on Comcast's part. I placed Stellar on notice, contacted Comcast and placed them on notice, got the confirmation (CR#) from Comcast validating that I did not owe the debt, called Stellar back and placed this CR# on file with them and after all this Stellar turns around and reports a delinquency to the credit bureaus which dropped my credit score. I then contacted Stellar to let them know what they did and they refused to do anything about it since they claimed the file was no longer with their office. I was very upset at this complete lack of accountability and refusal to correct their error so I yelled at them and they hung up on me.Desired Settlement: They need to fix this immediately and have this removed from my credit report as well as make sure my credit score goes back up the 20 points that it dropped due to their irresponsible practices.

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our investigation shows that a file was placed into our office by Comcast on 09-22-2015 under the name of [redacted] for services they show at [redacted]. The record shows that we did speak with the consumer on 10-19-15 and he stated to our agent that he was disputing the charge and was advised to contact Comcast, the file was marked as disputed on that date. On 10-25-2015, we had no response from Comcast regarding this dispute and credit reporting began and was reported as disputed. We also show that we spoke with the consumer on 11-12-15 and he was angry that the file was now reporting, dispute or not, he did yell at the agent and the call was terminated. The agent did mark the file as possible placed in error after the call. The file has now been closed and will be returned to Comcast, we have a confirmation # of deletion request of [redacted]. Please allow time for the credit reporting agencies to process this request. We do NOT have confirmation from Comcast at this point that the file was placed in error, but will keep the file closed.

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

1. The charges in question actually stemmed from an incorrect billing at [redacted] due to a transfer of services to my new address in FL (not from [redacted] as they claim)2. They are leaving out the fact that on 10/19 I advised them that the charge was for an incorrect billing that I never owed. I immediately called Comcast and was provided a credit # to verify the debt was not owed and I immediately called Stellar Recovery back and advised them of this fact as well as gave them the CR#[redacted] for their own verification. I asked them to place a hold on this so that they could verify this was not a valid debt and to not report this to the credit agencies. 6 day later they reported to the credit agencies.

Review: I have returned collection calls on several occasions when steller recovery has called looking for deadbeats. I have had this cell number for many years. I have asked them to remove my number from their random call list. I have either been hung up on by their reps or promised that this would be done. still getting calls. this week I called their toll free number and talked to [redacted] earlier in the week. I was not very nice in the conversation. mr [redacted] stated that he would take care of this. I again received a collection call today at 2:25 pm. I called mr [redacted] again at 3:40ish giving him the ###-###-#### number that the recorded call was made from. he said that this was one of their lines, but my number had been removed since our conversation earlier in the week. he stated that he would take care of it AGAIN. all I asked was that he call back and leave me a message that the problem is ONCE AND FOR ALL taken care of. your help is greatly appreciated in this matter. my attorney fishes in montana in the early summers. I really do not want to have him make it a working vacation and really do not want to own a debt recovery business in montana. BUT, I will do whatever is necessary to stop this harassing unauthorized use of my cell phone number..Desired Settlement: removal of my cell phone number from their system.

Business

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. The complaint indicates that we continue to call his cell phone, the number he had given our office is ###-###-####. I have spoken twice to Mr. [redacted] and we conducted a search on both calls for this number, as I explained to Mr. [redacted], we were unable to locate the number as currently in our data base but he was able to give us a call back number that was left that certainly was one of our numbers. As I further explained to Mr. [redacted], I also requested that the number in question be placed into our "Do Not Call List." This procedure is intended to prevent calls to be made by our automated dialer to the number even if it was inserted at a later date into our system as a number of contact for someone. I also ask our IT department to do a search for the number in all data bases and I indicated that I would call him with any results. This was on 08-30-2013, we received this complaint on 09-02-2013. I can report, via this reply, that our IT department did not locate the number as a number in our system. They did ask if the number could be a forwarded number or a "ported" number. We have certainly attempted to make sure the number was, one, not in our system and two, that no future calls could be made to the number. If Mr. [redacted] receives any future calls, he is again welcome to make contact with me direct.

Review: I have settled with this company, They are still reporting to the 3 major credit agencies that I still owe money. I've filed a dispute and they responded to the dispute still saying I owe. I have a letter showing the settlement. I paid the settlement in full and they refuse to provide me with a receipt. They will not let me request one until 30 days after I have paid this. Very rude customer support, the money has cleared my account and has been paid for over 15 days. Need to provide me with some type of receipt. Its only logical that when you pay something, you receive a receipt in a reasonable time frame.( not being over 30 days.) Unprofessional and rude.Desired Settlement: I would like a receipt showing a zero balance.

Business

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of an inquiry made by [redacted]. The file in our office has been settled in full, it is our company policy to wait 30 days before issuing a paid in full or settled in full letter to consumers to make sure the payment made to Stellar clears the financial institution it was written upon. Per the request, however, we have e mailed a paid in full letter via e mail to this consumer.

Review: See the attached document.Desired Settlement: I am filing this complaint with the Revdex.com with hopes that someone can assist me in getting this communication to stop. Calls from Stellar Recovery have been received daily for several months to my cell phone and my place of employment. I consider this to be harassment, even after I have asked them to stop calling. The calls continue on a daily basis, but now via an automated calling system, which is even more annoying, disrupting and a violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act as they never asked for my consent to call. I am requesting that my phone number removed from Stellar Recoverys records. I am requesting that they change their company policy with regards to robotic telephone calls. I am requesting that they instruct their personnel to stop harassing/abusing consumers as scare tactics to pay debts and falsely representing themselves. These are all violations of several laws which are supposedly in place to help protect consumers from unfair debt collection practices.

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our investigation does not correspond with much of what this consumer has alleged in the complaint. Mr. [redacted] claims calls started being made by Stellar Recovery on August 23, 2013. Our office received a file from [redacted] on October 08-2013 for services at 1[redacted] WA 98310. This billing was charged off from the client on 10-05-2012, Mr. [redacted] indicated that one of Agents informed him the date was from 2005, this simply is not the case. We have checked for any other files in our office for Mr. [redacted] and were unable to locate any except this file from [redacted]. We do not give a "legal" demand on any [redacted] file, we do not have a [redacted] as a employee nor he is a managing attorney for Stellar Recovery, we have no managing attorney. He claims that these calls were made on September 20,2013, this would be 17 days prior to placement of the [redacted] file in our office. We also performed a search of any recordings for inbound or outbound calls made on the file, there were no recordings associated with the file. [redacted] did provide 2 phone numbers with the file, ###-###-#### and ###-###-####. Attempts to contact Mr. [redacted] were made to both of these numbers. We have put a cease and desist on this file based on the complaint and no further calls will be made to the numbers asscociated with this file. We have ask for validation of this date from the client but have been informed that validation documents for this particular account are not avialable. We will close and return this file to the client. We are very concerned about the allegations Mr. [redacted] has made but the time line for the placement of files and the dates he claims he spoke with our office do not match. Mr [redacted] is welcome to speak with us with any addtional concerns, he can contact [redacted], Chief Complaince Officer at ###-###-#### or e mail him at [redacted].com

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

1. I have documentation from my mobile telephone company, my actual mobile telephone incoming call log, and I even had call logs from my employer pulled which documents numerous telephone calls from Stellar Recovery beginning 8/23/2013 up until the present time, including numerous "robocalls" which are a violation of laws pertaining to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

2. My complaint is only going by information provided to me by Stellar Recovery representatives. If the dates are incorrect, then I am not responsible for when they have informed me. If the debt that Stellar Recovery agent was calling about was from 2012, then that agent should not be falsifying company information including dates of a debt etc. in order to collect on a debt.
